- Today I traveled 6 hours down to Saigon, Vietnam just for the food... and not any food, it just had to be the famous and my favourite meal here in Vietnam, Cơm Tấm.

Southern Vietnamese food is great, but for me I don't think my life would be complete without the beautiful Bun Bo Hue 🤩👍👍

Bun Bo Hue is from north Vietnam 🇻🇳 not South Vietnam 🇻🇳
Pho 🍲 is from South Vietnam 🇻🇳 and Ho Chi Minh City 🌃 or Saigon before it was even made in Ha Noi North Vietnam 🇻🇳 different dialects of Vietnamese 🇻🇳 makes food 🍲 differently in Vietnam 🇻🇳 but same good 😌 but just made differently 😁
It's too hot and humid now to visit Vietnam. It makes it extra harder to go site seeing and eating hot/spicy food. December to January is usually the best time to go.

I was going to visit that com tam place, but missed it. Will have to check it out the next time I'm in Saigon. Com tam is one of my favorite Vietnamese dishes as well.

Com tam is also very popular in Cambodia as well, I grew up eating it every morning for years 😅 it’s the best thing to exist.

I love com tam bi suon cha trung too! It looked delish and agree, they shouldn't keep the cooked pork with the raw pork. Please tell them to store it separately. I hope you didn't get sick! I also noted a rat running past when you tried the bitter melon soup! I hope the girl got some antiseptic cream or spray for her wound plus bandages, otherwise she will likely get an infection. I am such a mum 😂😂😂 Thanks for another great video! X

Not a good sign when they’re taking cooked pork chop out of the same bin as the raw and reheating it to serve. Pork tends to dry out fast. It may have still tasted good but made to order is the only way to go with pork chops.

It took me to the outskirts of mien tay / saigon, so needed a taxi for another 20-30 minute drive to my hotel
