I am a Tia fan... In this video she contradicts her own history. For example, she blames the documentary on the 2015 or 16 games for showing things out of context. However in a subsequent documentary she was asked about the apparent demeanor change and it was she who referenced the documentary as the reason. Then with regards to the comments about retirement, she confirmed this to several sources in the tunnels which was reported. Sean was clear that he was informed by her team... She also made statements in the tunnels on camera while in tears referencing how she was taking it all in and that she was retiring. I wish she would have been pressed and challenged on some of these things.

When you do decide to retire ... you should give Sean the scoop announcement, that would be a fair dinkum respectful way to do it

I don’t remember her SAYING she was retiring. Yes people had the impression (myself included) but I also remember at the time thinking she seemed pregnant to me and that that could be the issue and the reason for the misleading impression.
I think Tia should have defended Sean a bit in the aftermath BUT I would also be pissed if anyone but me tried to say that I was done, including my team on my behalf.
Sorry but the retirement kerfuffle doesn't make any sense. What did Sean Woodland misunderstand and from who? You, the documentary makers that you say were after a story of this kind? Who were the documentary makers you are referring to? Are you saying that any question of retirement was not articulated through your lips directly to Sean Woodland? Has Sean told you where he got the idea from that you were retiring and why ("if it wasn't from you) he was so emboldened to make this claim on a live stream broadcast?
That last workout was a very special moment. Can't wait for this season!

I’m not sure if this clears anything up or makes it more frustrating. Why not come out and say you don’t plan on retiring? Why not say there was a miscommunication? Why all the mystique and making Sean look bad? ESPECIALLY when he was told by your camp 1) you were retiring and 2) it was okay to announce it? And then wait how many years now to clear everything up? It still doesn’t make sense to me.

@@lukeridley6214 also, I will say that I’m not crazy about his seemingly personal vendetta against Tia and the accusations of her on performance enhancing drugs
But maybe that’s what would make it interesting, is that he has no loyalties to Tia and he’s not particularly crazy about talking elite fitness and so he probably be able to give a more unbiased account and Grant points were points are due in the whole matter
That being said, there’s a chance that all this is already all been cleared up in other spaces and I’m just not aware of them

Just say you jumped the gun on announcing retirement and wanted to take it back. It is what it is. No one believes someone announced your retirement for you, without your knowledge. Love you and what you done, but this, naw. You did my Sean dirty.

Sean was told by Mariah that Tia was retiring… And that came from somewhere! 🤦🏼♀️ it’s ok to change you’re mind, because she was disappointed with how 2022 turned out, just explain that 🤷🏼♀️
