That was so nice that y’all got the kids in to leave handprints in the concrete! That stuff means a lot to a family way into the future! The work is, as always, perfection. Your crew always does excellent work!❤❤❤

Great job team 💕👏👍 bummer about the short load, but hey it all comes out in the wash! 🤙
Thanks for sharing the cost of the concrete in the video, I never knew the short loads could really screw up a job for pricing.
For sure
I've been a contractor for about 20 years I do some pretty crazy woodworking stuff but I've never ever been a very good concrete finisher or drywall mudder. I'm going to watch everyone of your freaking videos and see if I can by myself poor a 12x12 slab and trowel finish it. I don't care if I have to tear it out and do it again I'm going to do it until it's nice.
Wow - those fees are crazy. Turned out great - looks fantastic!
Thanks so much!
What a massive improvement! 👍👍
The drain not centered on the intersection of the joints in the main slab would irritate me every time I looked at it. Finish looks nice though.
Ty
Great job!
Hey. Finisher here. I saw when you rodded out with the 3ft 2x4, you did it right in front of the drain when there supposed to be a valley. When i rod out of that drain, i keep one side to the 2x4 in front of the drain and rod at a keeping the screed at 45 degree angle.
Mannn I was a wheelbarrow short before..littlery one wheelbarrow.. Good Job
Yeah it’s a bummer :/
Those were some expensive hand prints! Nice job btw.
Wow looks great bro as always have a good weekend g btw g what's the longest wait time you've experienced when you ran out of concrete and had to order more curious is all
2 hrs
Why not have your own concrete mixer for when you need such small amounts?
They probably didn't thought on that as stated its happens once in awhile
@@mercade1349 Even so, it's inexpensive and saves money when needed.
They got or at least had the "mud mixer". Woulda been perfect if someone ran and got some bags. 1.5-2 yards is quite a lot of bags though
I've been shorted concrete on driveway pour at my house. I formed it and provided the crete. I'll never use them again
It happens
I love the 50/50!
Me too
Beautiful job ❤
Thank you! 😊
Will we see the completed project when the patio is installed?
That concrete is way too wet. I would have sent it back.
A lot looked like was from the pumper priming, but did seem lil wet
Nice job boys.👍
Thanks 👍
It's always a good video when 50 shows up.
I concur
Any chance we'll see the finished project when the owner completes the rest?
Maybe
Hello Again Odell, great finish on the concrete. Looks good as always. Are those saw cuts deep enough? I would like you to measure the armouring in the cuts, just put a measuring rod down the cut to see that the armour is at the right distance from the top of the concrete. That would show that the armouring is set correctly and would validify the strength on the slab, and that the concrete will have the strength as it is supposed to have. Sometimes i've seen that you cut the concrete in the lines after it dried, do you always go back to a finished slab and do that? Or has the customer order that to be done?
/Best regards Jonny H
So how does that effect the pour or does it ?
Ive said it before, you guys have to start using aluminium straight edges. They are not that expensive and will last a long time. Plus they are 100% straight.
Bingo
Here in Los Angeles they charge you roughly $160 a yard and $30-$50 every yard you didn’t get for a full 10 lol.
Sounds normal
Do you keep all those guys busy full time or do you just call them in as you need.
When needed
Sweet 👍
Oh yeah!
👍👍
Yo Good morning guys
Hi
Lot of commenters being dicks. It'd be easy to only upload perfect jobs but the channel keeps it real and shows when they (or the concrete plant...) makes mistakes.
how much did you charge for this job, total ?
4500
For a period of time I used to watch all your videos, life got too busy and haven’t watched as regularly. Could you remind me why you make the distinction between magnesium vs steel bull float? Could you use either or and achieve the same result or do they accomplish different things?
Mag doesn't seal
Looks wet
Like ur mom
Bro why can't you add up all the +×÷÷×+ concrete you so this won't happen

🤦🏼♂️ no issues like this when your dads running the job.

Keep up the great work brother.👍🏻🇺🇸
no need for that fella, mistakes happen and you can only learn from them 👍
Mistakes happen. If you don’t learn from them that is the problem.
I've run short before on 3 yards...pretty sure they just didn't bring what I ordered seemed very short to me. My measurements were very accurate. So sometimes crap happens. Good save by the way
Dad made better videos.

He does, but gee you didn't need to say that. Kids get better with every video!
