    Your blessed, don’t worry about shifting in traffic * it’s ok * Having a Manuel=‘s anti-CarJacking 💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽

1st to 2nd to 1st on repeat gets old in stop-and-go traffic, but manual is definitely an anti-theft device

Nice. Tried to get a red Trueno but you can't order one from Toyota Canada - only way was to order and wait for an arbitrary allocation to your dealership. Ended up with a WR Blue BRZ ts. I actually like the blacked out trim and blue interior accents over the Trueno's Red and Blk/Silver. I only have one dislike - the diver door mirror and A-pillar creates a big blind spot when making left turns in the city; especially at night. I'm 5'9" so its not my seat positioning.
As for mounts I use the ESR MagSafe Car Mount (HaloLock), Magnetic Air Vent mount (Amazon). I mounted it on the passenger vent just right of the hazard button. Its strong enough to hold a S20 Note Ultra with a case. The magnet is strong and you need to be careful removing the phone without damaging the vent vane. Grab the mag ring behind the phone and then flip the phone off. The mounts 2 bottom legs actually contacts the dash under the bottom of the vent so weight/vibration is transferred to the dash. Got a wireless Android auto USB adaptor and it works fine.

Allocation was the same here for Toyota - basically told them I'd take just about anything but they were allocated multiple red Truenos. Ordering from Subaru is definitely more straight-forward.
I bet the blue trim accents with the blue paint looks sick! I haven't noticed that blind spot on the road, but did have one turn at my local track that made it hard to spot the apex.

He man, look into the Proclip center dash mount as a phone holder. It does sit infront of the AC vents above the infotainment (could run the phone as landscape mode or not be bothered by the phone vertical mode). Cheers from a fellow GR86 trueno owner.

Thanks, I'll definitely check it out! Do you have a cable passed through as well to connect to carplay?

I have a longer type c cord from the center console, to the left of the shift gear, into the button of the dash with clips to secure it (MacGyvered) to and around the Proclip with enough slack to plug into buttom of the cellphone.

DO NOT TOUCH THE PANEL! Fake is awesome! Not sure about the FA; well I'm sure you will hate the lack of sound it makes. Hate driving in traffic, make rev matching harder so driving less fun. Complaining about gas prices, we'll be prepared to unknowing cruise in 4th on the freeway because it sounds like 6th gear. Don't believe me just go to the dealership and have them turn in off for you. It's FREE!

You may be right - I've yet to money shift in any car I've owned, but could make it easier to "forget" I was in 4th instead of 6th. Either way, it sounds like getting an exhaust is the answer!

@@All_In_Driving Sorry, I wasn't very clear. I wasn't talking about " money shifting." I was referring to the lack of engine sound in the car if you turn off the fake engine sounds. It makes it hard to hear what gear you're in.
