Ted was my moms favorite...just image a tiny little 5'4' 70 year old woman with big bug glasses cruising down the road in her big ol' blue 76' Pontiac with the windows down blasting Ted Nugent as loud as it could go..damn I miss that woman,
Have they inducted Ted Nugent into The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame yet? WOW, this is before my time, but by watching his music videos I have to say, that he has to be up there with the Best! Great Classic Rock & Roll music!
No he isn't & said years ago he wouldn't want to be in such a sham as the rock hall of shame because they are now allowing rappers & others that aren't even rock in all because of popularity instead of actually knowing how to play or sing & not using lip synching or the use of computers to make music . He also said that they hate him especially the guy who owns & runs it which I believe is owned & run by the Rolling stone magazine & hates Ted because he kills his food & hunts so Ted said even if they honored him in he would never except it or go to it .
I live in Cleveland and will never set foot in that wretched place. After they built it every Hollywood freak in the world started showing up, just the opposite of what we needed. We lost heavy industry and needed new manufacturing, instead we get an eye sore on the lake and all the rats that go with it.
The rock and roll hall of fame is the rock an roll hall of fing shame. Ted nugent needs to be in there years ago... One of the greatest rock an roll guitar gods ever...
40 years ago: Friday June 27th 1980 @Summit in Houston. Ticket cost $9.65 , .65 cents parking fee included. Guitar, Loin Cloth, Rope Swing ala Tarzan for intro, sliding on knees across the stage and the show begins. Walls of speakers. A great night, always remembered. Thanks, Mr. Nugent, for that night and countless singalongs with you in cars, trucks, garages, living rooms and work spaces.
@@lollipop84858Wango Tango is one of the most genius rock songs ever produced. I wouldn’t expect someone who’s not trained in classical music to see it’s subtleties.
Is there a video on RUclips of this Scream Dream tour? I saw him so many times, but the loin cloth concert was the best, wildest concert of all! Forever Ted
This was the video that told me I should never do drugs, because I thought Ted was the most drug crazed rock star I ever saw! How was I to know that he was actually the straightest guy in the music business, and the only thing he injected into his system to fuel him was non-USDA approved wild game!!
Believe it or not when I was about 9 years old I played little league baseball with all my friends from the neighborhood and we would always play this song before a game because it used to pump us up. Damn, this song brings back so many memories
Uncle Ted is a supremely talented guitarist. Just the fact that he obtains such great sounds from a Gibson Byrdland, which is a truly wretched guitar and totally unsuited to high-volume, high-gain use. He does get some feedback, but he uses it to good effect! Ted Nugent rules!
I wanted a Byrdland since I saw Ted on the cover of Free For All, and that sound is the best guitar sound in history . I'd sell someones kids for one of those guitars hahaha
I'm sure my hearing problems here in middle age were helped along from years of Uncle Ted on max volume over the years. What? Of course it was worth it! ☮️
I saw him on this tour Greensboro NC 1980....he opened up swinging out on a rope with a Tarzan wrap on when his feet hit the stage he started jamming to this song...wonderful memories...I’m 58 and still remember 💜
First time I saw Ted was August 1979 at Madison Square Garden with AC/DC as the opening act. AC/DC kinda blew Ted off the stage. There was a huge fiasco in the floor seating area. Kids started piling chairs and then a fire was set, LOLOL. By the time Ted came on he was kinda overwhelmed but still managed to kick ass. Seem him 11 times after that, through the years.

I once played (and sang) this song at a teen dance held in a church... Lightning hasn't hit me yet! Fun fact - My amp at the time was one of Ted's old Fender Twins that I bought at Al Nalli Music in Ann Arbor, MI right after Ted got the Super Twin deal with Fender.
Uncle Ted , Been Jamming with him on vinyl since I was a wee lad..... Playing my electric Bass, ..... Now at 54 , I'M STILL JAMMING OUT TO TED NUGENT......
Ted Nugent rocking as long as my baby brother has been alive. I remember him headlining a show and Scorpions and Def Leppard were the opening acts. Pete Willis was the Def Leppard guitarist then, I thought it was interesting how his guitar was almost as big as he was.
Your talking..Scream Dream Tour.. McNichols Sports Arena, Denver Jun 19, 1980. Leppards first U.S. tour. I thought Scorps were the best of the three but the whole show was killer..

Mans a legend! Born and bred in the good old US of A
Ted Nugent was born with more energy than 50 people combined and clean as a whistle.
Besides his propensity for underage girls he was "clean"

Most underrated guitar player.
Yh, he plays the guitar and sings amazing
How is he underrated??
@@DrLoverLover Yes, if you're being honest. Great fun, but no guitar hero.
@@minkorrh ye I wouldn’t say he’s underrated but he’s definitely a really good guitarist
That’s because of his personality and political views; among other things. He’s a great guitarist, though.
These were the days! I hope you all got to experience this. Before everyone was offended by pure ,fun rock n roll.
When cocaine wants to get high he just does a line of ted nugent

I'm sure he inhaled once

No frills, straightforward, high energy, Kick-Ass rock and roll from Ted Nugent!

One of the first songs I heard from my uncle as a child. Still a fave I blast on the regular in the summer. Ted is closest America ever got to AC/DC.

Crazy that Ted never did drugs
I know long hair loincloth and screaming seems very drug induced he must be naturally high for life.
Ted so mean he makes medicine sick
Well he was an environmentalist so he doesn't do stuff chemically made so he probably did shrooms or smoked weed
