I met uncle Ted working at a gas station in ‘80 or ‘81 just north of Lansing, Michigan. He pulled up in a lifted camouflaged Bronco. Was the coolest cat I had ever met. Nicest guy you’d ever meet. Gave me a $20 tip on a $36 bill.

can still smell those joss sticks . I was about 14 . went into school the next day ears still ringing ,as i was standing next to one of the massive speakers he was rocking on.
I swear to God he almost toppled them over ..... What a performer he was.
during those years I used to go to all the concerts at the Empire in Liverpool,
Skynyrd the year before the plane crash that took Ronnie Van.
    Also saw Camel ..Rainbow..Rush.. Sabbath..Lone Star..Pace Ashton Lord..Wishbone Ash..Tangerine Dream ..Gong....Jethro Tull..and many more.

Ted in intelligent, articulate, funny, and intense. I met him a few years later at an NRA meeting in St. Louis . He rememberd me and we ended up having dinner that evening. Shemane and my wife joined us. They're both very good people and they did a lot for the soldiers in Iraq and Afghanistan.
