Imagine being an AC/DC in 1980 fan and hearing about Bon’s death but the band is making a new album with a relatively unknown singer and you’re sitting there for a minute straight listening to the solo praying that the singer is good... and then you realize all will be well and they did Bon proud.

Fun fact: When Malcolm and Angus made the main riff to this song, Angus had the title and then Malcolm decided to add the bell to the beginning of the song when he was taking a piss.
Phil Rudd's drumming here should be teached in every rock school - playing exactly what the song needs, giving the perfect groove and providing those perfect little breaks to drive the AC/DC engine.
When he left the band in 1983, no disrespect to Simon Wright who's a damn good drummer as well. But AC/DCs ensuing music didn't quite have the flow and sparkle to it with Rudd gone.
I've just wanted to take this chance to thank my grandma, who introduced me too this band when I was a kid. And that even though she's past away this year I wanted to dedicate this song as a memory too her for being an awesome grandmother and getting me into other bands like Black Sabbath, Metallica, Slayer, Pantera, and even Type O Negative. And I'm hoping that I will see you again on the other side Rip. 🙏❤
Sounds like you had a cool grandma. May your faith let you know that she smiles upon you every time you feel accomplished in this world. What lies on the other side is always a question, but let your FAITH guide you. And fuck judgmental pricks like the commenter above me.
My Grandma only listens to Spanish music. I mean it sounds decent I guess, but she’s the only one that can under it because she never taught her daughters Spanish, so..,
When Bon died AC/DC changed from a dirty blues rock band to a more straight forward hard rock group. Both of these genres were based on their lead vocalists.
Imagine losing one of the baddest singers of all time. You have the arduous task of finding his replacement, making an album and carrying on. Enter Brian Johnson. ⚡️
It’s the best decision AC/DC made😊😊😊😊😊Bon Scott would agree, that’s why Bon was impressed with Brian when he was singing with Geordie, just as well, that would’ve been Bon’s wish to have Brian sing for his band when he no longer could 😢
R.I.P. to the legend himself Malcolm Young! After losing George and now Malcolm our hearts go out to Angus and the entire Young Family, Hells Bells ring in your Honor!!!!
This was only about the Young family, unless I'm missing something Chester (Bennington?) was not involved. While his death was certainly tragic he wasn't in AC/DC.
Music is getting worse year by year. In my country there is a pop singer named Tuure Boelius and he is pretty much only popular because he is the most famous gay person in Finland. Also his music is only done with computer edit, he can't even really sing, and the tunes are taken from other songs and artists the way it can not be proven that he stole them but everyone can hear it.
Imagine being an AC/DC fan, your favourite singer just died, you buy the new CD and start listening anxiously, unsure what will become of the band. And then this masterpiece starts...
I get the whole bon.... Brian thing but Brian is the singer I know as a younger fan btw I'm 42 I was 2 when bon died he was amazing but in my opinion this album would not have been the same if bon sang it my opinion long live acdc
I will never forget the first time I saw them in concert. Whole auditorium was pitch back & all of a sudden you hear that pounding of the gong! We all just started screaming! Lights come up & there they were!It was awesome! One of my all time favorite albums. Every song on it is a masterpiece!
I never saw AC/DC with Brian Johnson. I DID see AC/DC with Bon Scott. I lived in London at the time and being saddened when the news broke of his death. I remember hearing Back in Black for the first time and was so happy they hadn’t lost it, rather evolved.
I saw em' play once too back in the day. I payed to see many a band perform live over the years. And sadly throughout the years I've lost many of my peers. We had some cheers while we drank some beers at those concerts. And I'm not a shamed to say I've shed plenty of tears. I'm a poet sort of speak. I practice my freestyle skills at least thrice per week. 🎶 🎵 Anyways have yourself the best weekend of your life. ☺
This song was written before I was born, and 40 years later, it still gives me goose bumps when that intro starts and the guitar kicks in. Few songs do that. Absolutely amazing
Carry it on, crank it up, it won't hurt you. I'm 61 and cranked these tunes at max volume my whole life, I'm not deaf. These tunes will never die. I'll make sure from my grave.
@@axels6658Ac/dc's songs all sound the same, they're still good, but Metallica was extremely innovative and their catalog, besides being huge, also has much more variety. Respect for both bands
