The issue here is what is to be "fossilized" form. This prayer is to be rendered in ASL, also The text is to be in the fossilized form in ASL as agreed by an ASL speaking congregation. I judge the one as in the video to be the best ASL rendering of the Lord's Prayer, both in vocabulary and syntax, although it contains a few Anglicisms.. It serves to be declared as the standard form for the fossilized text of the prayer.

For someone who doesn't sign she goes way to fast to follow. If you are doing a instructional video in ASL it would be helpful to do the signs slowly and one by one. I was hoping to be able to learn from this video but it didn't help at all.
Erm. If you dont sign, that's probably why it's so fast. For asl people, it's natural to go fast, you cant blame them for what they do naturally, it would be like me telling you that if you are speaking to me, you are going way to fast for a hearing person, it's kinda rude to asl people :/
