I was moved by this video. a few weeks ago days ago, i started learning sign, and i really liked it. and I also wanted to learn about god and how to say all the stuff you signed. two days ago i saw this video first thing. it brought me joy when I heared you say we were learning the lords prayer, bc that same day i was told i had to learn the lords prayer in home school! so i thought this was a gift from god. I don't know why but these signs got me emotional. I am not deaf nor do I know anyone who is deaf but being able to use my outer body instead of my voice to recognize and praise the Lord in this way makes me feel differently than when I just use my voice alone. Hi! Thank you for these videos, I'm taking an adult ASL class after 10 years without any instruction/practice. One of the most helpful parts of the video is the sentences at the end. Could you do a video where you sign the sentences without saying the words out loud, and then reveal the words later? That will help challenge me to read the signs instead of lip read or listen to what you're saying. (Almost like a quiz). Thanks again, you are amazing!

In todays world for example the Olympics there was a brave young lady who 'signed about Jesus when she won' because I believe she was not allowed to speak his name! This video can be very powerful used correctly!

I had a really cool ASL moment yesterday: when I came into work, there was Praise and Worship playing on the stereo as-usual, and the chorus, "Holy, holy, holy, I want to see You" was repeating over and over. I started singing it in sign language, and realized it was super-easy (I learned the sign for "Holy" on this video). I felt a real connection to my Mom, who interpreted for the deaf at our church when I was little; she loved to praise in ASL (at Mass, conferences, at home, even in the car), and it always looked so beautiful. Thank you for helping me continue my Mom's legacy; she had (and still has) such a passion for the Deaf Community. 💖
Trinity....what a beautiful sign. I want to thank you for all of ur videos. I'm a single mother and I am homeschooling my two youngest children. The absolute most important thing I've tried to teach them is that, in the age of the internet, you can learn ANYTHING on your own. I asked them what language they wanted to learn and ASL was their choice. We have only been working for about a week with your (and some other's) videos and my kids can already answer questions like "what do you want for dinner" and tell me other daily tasks. Last night I told them to "go to the bathroom and brush their teeth" and they have already picked up the signs. Thank you SO MUCH for your resources, especially on grammar and phrasing. It's a lot of pressure to try and teach them something I am only just learning myself. And BTW, my kids LOVE you and your personality. They watch the videos with me and are excited when we work with them.
So educational! I was signing along like a mad person, and I even started practicing full verses 😁 With a little bit of interpretation of course, as I don’t use sign language normally. But I figured out how to sign 1 John 4:8 😉

Hello, I am learning to sign because I would like to be an interpreter so that we could reach out to deaf people in our community. My son is verbal but doesn't know many words and I feel that signing to him may help his congnitive abillity and hopefully some new words to speak. I am learning to sign some of the worship songs for church because I feel that signing the words helps me to focus on what we are saying to the Lord. I am brand new to asl. Last week I felt moved to sign during worship. But obviously I still b don't know anything to be able to. I am so happy you are a believer. Praise God for leading me to this channel as I prayed to learn ASL officially to learn to add in our future worship “reels” (YT shorts) for friends I met online that are deaf. Hello, I am learning to sign because I would like to be an interpreter so that we could reach out to deaf people in our community. My son is verbal but doesn't know many words and I feel that signing to him may help his congnitive abillity and hopefully some new words to speak.
I am learning to sign some of the worship songs for church because I feel that signing the words helps me to focus on what we are saying to the Lord. Thank you for teaching the basic signs that will help me understand better. God Bless

I am brand new to asl. Last week I felt moved to sign during worship. But obviously I still b don't know anything to be able to. I am so happy you are a believer. I enjoy watching you and you do not go to fast. However, for me I would like more repetition/ practice time within the video. But I will keep watching. Thank you
This is awesome. Keep up the good work. And thanks for the video tips. It’s a balance to keep people both engaged through the whole video but also spend rnough time on each sign. That’s why we encourage people to either slow the video down or watch it multiple times to really retain it all.
