beautiful video, my mother is going through a hard time right now and she always loves your videos, from a Christian household, this is absolutely perfect
Thank you so much for this! Keep it up! And don't listen to the negative haters, in Matthew 5:11, Jesus says "Blessed are those who are persecuted for doing what is right, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven." ❤ 🤘
This is not preaching this is helping individuals who are deaf to communicate religious ideas and beliefs in the language that they have to communicate with such as ASL
I'm so excited you are doing a church signs I would love more videos like Philippines 4.13 is my favorite verse thank you for doing this could you do mark 11.24 have a wonderful week god bless you Mrs marideth 😊
We loved this, and appreciate your recognition of our need for these encouraging verses! Thank you for your bold stand! Please continue to share more with us, along with your helpful and inspiring explanations!
I love these church sign videos! I was so excited to see that this video had been uploaded. I would like to learn how to sign various signs from the Gospels, as in learning how to sign verses that tell the Gospel story (maybe the Roman road, too!) and 2 Corinthians 5:17, which is one of my favorites.
Yes, I definitely want more content like this!! We are starting an ASL/HoH ministery at our church & this will be really helpful!! Psalm 139 & 73:26 are wonderful choices also!
These are all wonderful verses and a prayer answered! Our school's theme is 1 John 4:10. I would love to learn this verse and to teach my ASL elective class it. Thank you much and blessings!
Thank you! The LORD bless and keep you, turn His face toward you, smile on you, be gracious to you and give you peace (Numbers 6:24 to 26 paraphrased). What about Hebrews 10:14, 10:10 or Colossians 1:21 to 23
So this answers my question about signing "quoted" passages etc... it's still signed with formal ASL, not "as is" (SEE). Either way, would love to see more of these lengthier videos which show the English to ASL syntax for meatier sentences.
I play pickleball with some deaf people and while I know how to sign the score, I would love to learn more context-specific signs that could enhance our games like how to explain rules or tactics. Maybe there's some carryover from common tennis signs?
Though i've watched a few of ur videos over 6 mos ago & enjoyed them, this one meant a lot to me as i'm trying to memorize more scriptures. I feel by signing, this action will help me remember them better. Yes, I would love to see & learn more. How about Psalms 23, 1 Cor. 13, the Beatitudes, etc. just to name a few. Have u done videos on the books of the Bible as that would interest me. Thank u for sharing.
Thank you always for giving us a way to communicate with Deaf and people learning to sign. About Jeremiah 29:11, you signed MY PLAN and put the MY hand on your body, but it's not your plan. It's God's plan, so shouldn't the sign be YOUR pointing upward or GOD and looking upward? I'd like to learn to interpret Romans 15:13. Thank you for asking 😊
Can you do his famous one? ‘’for god loved the world so much that he gave his only son that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life’’ Jhon 3:16
Do you agree that it's important to lift up people who are marginalized and a oppressed group of people I wonder if you've ever thought of asking one of your deaf clients if they would help you in teaching hearing people their language I find it's important to be inclusive in specially lifting up deaf people who have many obstacles that they face daily for example they are not disabled the only reason that they ,some, are collecting disability is because there isn't equal access to jobs as there are for hearing people that's why it's so important to include them especially in teaching their own language just something to think about
Disappointing. I thought this was a channel focused on ASL, didn't realize you intended to include religious propaganda. I'll have to seek out educators that are teaching without preaching.
You do you, but that is not fair to her. This is one video. It is the Easter season after all. But also, you didn’t have to say anything or watch it if you didn’t want to.
@@not.ur.avg.jo. If you actually thought "you do you" you would have let @kaeldragor's comment stand without a reply telling them they shouldn't judge for themselves. You both would do well to remember two things 1) ASL is for everyone. 2) Religion is not. If you both truly valued ASL being accessible to all, you would hold the validity of championing non-religious content, as equally as you valued this religious lesson being shared for those who need it. If this channel (and content creator) are truly interested in ASL being accessible to all, we should see some other religions and seasonal content covered soon - not just Christianity, right? Let's see CNY, Diwali, and Hanukkah content - makes sense now that they've got the ball rolling 🥳. In the meantime, let's try not to put the cart before the horse and refrain from diminishing one another for voicing a barrier to learning accessibility skills. Reducing barriers to learning ASL is a good thing. Stay signing and peaceful humans - regardless of your God or non-God or whatever.
@@Micsq4lv I know the importance of ASL. And I know we all have free will to judge for ourselves. I was just trying to communicate the fact that their judgement seemed negative and unfair towards the channel as a whole. The video creator can post whatever they want to.
@@Micsq4lv we all give what we have to offer. Christians can share ASL signs for their holidays, Jews can share signs for their holidays, etc. No one has to know everything. And 'not knowing everything' doesn't mean you can't share what you do know. That's like saying because she teaches ASL, she should be requires to know/teach all languages. She can just share what she knows. If you want more, seek out a different teacher. If you want less, you are not required to watch. May the Lord bless you as you search for a teacher that meets your needs.
Yes! More, please! Learning how to communicate God’s word to the deaf is invaluable.
i was today years old when i realized you were a christian you made my day!!
