The issue here is what is to be "fossilized" form. This prayer is to be rendered in ASL, also The text is to be in the fossilized form in ASL as agreed by an ASL speaking congregation. I judge the one as in the video to be the best ASL rendering of the Lord's Prayer, both in vocabulary and syntax, although it contains a few Anglicisms.. It serves to be declared as the standard form for the fossilized text of the prayer.

She went way too fast, way too fast for me to understand. I have dreamed of doing the Nicene Creed in ASL for years.

The isn’t meant to be a tutorial, there are other videos for that purpose. I find her technique very clear and graceful. Thank you.

For someone who doesn't sign she goes way to fast to follow. If you are doing a instructional video in ASL it would be helpful to do the signs slowly and one by one. I was hoping to be able to learn from this video but it didn't help at all.

I really appreciate these videos. I know they are put together for those who cannot hear, but I wonder if adding audio would be possible for those who cannot read but can hear and would like to learn to sign.
