@@AbitofEverything4U I loved it 🤩, if u want to give a caption for this entire comic run , what would it be ? Like x men 97 caption and the theme is "operation zero Tolerance" what would be for this?
Oh my...hard question. The two main themes were Jean's baby and Sinister's attacks. So I'd go with "Wonderful news and terrible trials" or something like that.
Can u make a video explaining the deleted scenes of Deadpool & Wolverine as it talks about the Multiverse and TVA's objective of protecting the 616 Universe
Yeah, it's abit confusing, tbh. In New X-Men #131, Cyclops says that light turns yellow in the Ruby-Quartz shield of his visor. However, a flashback in Astonishing X-Men (Vol. 3) #14 has Scott mention that he sees things tinged with red. So I'm honestly not sure what's considered canon?
7:55 This image reminded me of that one shot from TAS S1 E5 where Scott and Jean are kissing in the background while a sad Wolverine looks away from them.
The OG X-M (X-MEN) 1997 for 5 seasons long, but the X-M are coming back soon in the future. 27 years later, here we are in the year 2024, waiting for a long time to the X-M again. X-M Comics is so hard to put all together. But what does gap mean? Like Marvel, SW (you didn't do 1 video. It was a while ago, please do a video in Nov), movies, and cartoon animation.
It's all right. Well, gap means: I don't understand it of the video, X-M' 97 Comics takes place, but it was not in the show. All villains are not in X-M'97 season 1.
It seems the villains from the comics were likely all arrested and locked away, so they didn't appear in season 1. And ofc Sabertooth took off...sneaky little dude!
These 4 issues don't really explain anything for the show in order for it to still work with the original X-Men Series, but I did get the sense that there was something missing at the start of '97. If the comics had explored a longer period of time, maybe that would make me feel better because going almost a year between the Original Series' Finale and '97 Season 1 just feels a bit odd. I almost kind of get the sense that '97 could have actually started with Magneto getting Charles' Will right after he "died" and then you just say, "9 months later" and the show picks up pretty much as it did with no real change. The gap in time could certainly be felt and then there's this run of comics that still only show a brief moment in time early on in that gap instead of having a number of one-offs, and the span of time is shown with Jean's pregnancy as the indicator. And I want to say that there was a '97 run of comics that was done a number of years ago that then furthered the hope for a revival that was finally cemented with the Disney+ numbers, and I figured maybe they were pulling from that, but then there's this new run that throws the other into a different continuity. This is why I try to just stick to movies and shows despite how often sequels are retconned these days.
Yeah, I agree...the comics are not required reading. But I do like that the comics give us Denti's backstory, Storm's changed look, Morph's official return, Jean/Scott's baby shower, Mr. Sinister dumping the Nasty Boys, and a bit more on Bishop's situation. Throw in the reference to Xavier's will and Sunspot and I felt the issues were worth the time to read and review in a vid.
I seem to remember hearing there was also another comic continuation of X-Men The Animated Series many years ago is that still canon in some way? I remember people theorizing how it could connect to the new show before the new show came out since apparently it ended with the universe being destroyed or something.

That morph dialogue doesnt make sense when he was in the last episode of season 5 unless issue 2 takes place like right after since the finale was the only episode he was in of that season
I wondered about that too… But perhaps Morph just joined them briefly in that episode during the original series and then felt uncomfortable going back in the further battles. I included Deadpool Into the mcu timeline because he is now a part of the mcu and his three movies add to the continuity of the timeline.
I recently added the defenders, fox-verse, and agent Carter as accompanying sagas; to the main timeline. I will add AOS, as soon as I can figure out when those episodes take place.
Maybe even…the inhumans, legion and the runaways?
The new mutants does not fit in the list. I just watched it and I can’t find any references to the list.
Unreleased content as of 9/20/24:
1. Thunderbolts(€)
2. Capt. America: brave new world(€)
3. Agatha all along

6.Avengers Doomsday

€-from the looks of it, these two movies may continue where the eternals left off. We just have to wait and see (update: the eternals is the build up to CA brave new world and Thunderbolts so I placed it after Deadpool and Wolverine).
@-stand-alone sagas that are seperate, but still contribute to the continuity of the sacred timeline.
%-included for the hell of it. You don’t have to watch it, but it kinda adds to the WADP and SMNWH cameos.
Let me know what you think and enjoy the list!
P.S. Madam web is trash. I put it there because it introduces the web of events, and opens up the 616 to the Sonyverse; post what if…S:2.
May god have mercy on the souls of the people that made this movie.

@@AbitofEverything4U I appreciate the time you put in ordering these movies in chronological order. I’m finishing up cloak and dagger and starting AOS soon. I’ve checked out your vids on the placement of AOS and looking forward to using that information to improve my little project here. Great work though keep it up.
I think you'll love Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Really fun show!
:( D
Uh oh… Did I mess up in the video somewhere? My apologies if so.
