I can't imagine what this would look like with every Across the Spider-Verse connection... Insomniac, Japanese, 60s, 90s and it's connected shows, Unlimited, Spectacular, Ultimate and it's connected shows and already established Multiverse, Lego Movies.
What a great concept! Multiverse is becoming bigger more and more, also thanks to all the retroactivity for previous MCU projects. Wonder after Secret Wars if timelines like that will still exist or it will be shape into a single representation
I love it. If there's anything I would change, it would be just to order things horizontally with where you would place them in a watch order, so there should be a big gap between Captain America and the rest of the MCU while you populate a side of the screen with a good number of the other Marvel movies, and then when you reach something like Loki, you cram in the revised X-Men timeline, you have the Venom and Spider-Verse movies happen more in relation to No Way Home, meaning there's bigger gaps between certain sections of the MCU, but that's just me. Instead of making an image that fills a 16x9 ratio, you just have the image be however long it needs to be. Maybe that's something I need to do for myself just for fun.
If you are only including Movies and TV Shows, I understand, but I think the PS4 Spider-Man Games timeline should feed into Spider-Man: across the spiderverse
This timeline is really good, except that Luke Cage season 1 and Daredevil season 2 take place at the same time with the episodes swapping back and for, going Daredevil 1-4, Luke Cage 1-4, Daredevil 5-11, Luke Cage 5-8, Daredevil 12-13, Luke Cage 9-13.

Love it! So the only projects missing include the MCU-adjacent TV-Shows, the animated series, the Ghost Rider movies and finally the Howard the Duck movie. That's wild to think about. I'd love to see connections to these, although that's very unlikely. :)
I think that the MCU Wiki changed Earth-838's year to be concurrent with Earth-616. Maybe the production date of Multiverse of Madness was during February 2021, so that appeared onscreen as an non-canon easter egg.
Interesting...it seems the wiki is using the dates in the timeline book to say that 838's present day is Nov, 2024. I wonder if the timeline book was using dates that are relative to 616's present day, even when describing what's happening in 838? I fully endorse the timeline book, but I don't know that the timeline book was trying to tell us the present date relative to 838's universe. Anyway, thanks for pointing that out. I think the image looks pretty good, a bit confusing at first, but once really look at all the connections it starts to make alot more sense. Only thing I would say you could add (apart from the pre disney+shows) are the Team Thor One-Shots, they could be added and labeled as TVA Branches like What if.
I think Last Dance could work as being palced after ATSV because of Mrs. Chen Mrs. Chen talking with Spot could be placed either durign LTBC or a little after since it's reused footage from the movie + it would be a bit weird to see her in a casino in Vegas and then see her back in her shop in San Francisco

Really nice map - great work. I really like the layout. My only remark is that I think Loki season 1 line should be coming off from The Avengers 2012, because that's when on the sacred timeline that Loki is from. But tbf I understand why you fork it off of Endgame.

certain things cannot be made canon bc of contradictions, for example Agents of shield (and runaways iirc) have a Darkhold. Also the 2005-2007 Fantastic 4 films are confusing bc they have a Galactus, but don't leaks suggest the Galactus we'll see in the MCU Fantastic 4 will be the only one in the multiverse? If so, the 2007 film cannot be canon at least. I'm also unsure if canonicity is symmetric, like No Way Home may be canon to the Spierverse without the Spiderverse being canon to the MCU, kinda like how Thanos/infinity war is referenced in Agents of Shield, despite the fact AoS cannot be canon
Excellent feedback! Yeah, I think it may be tough to make AoS and Runaways canon. That may well be why Marvel has held off so long on doing so. I do agree that if Galactus is determined to only exist once in the multiverse, then the 2007 Fan 4 movie is on shaky ground. It could be that they say that movie doesn't feature a variant of the true Galactus (i.e. the one appearing in the new movie) since we never even see Galactus and just see the cloud. So it could be he was named Galactus but isn't considered the same being. Weak answer, but that is a way it could work. And yeah, I'm unsure if Feige will end up considering the Spider-Verse to be canon to the MCU. I've placed it on there for now, but it may need to come off. Again, fantastic feedback on the vid. Really appreciate you sharing your thoughts!
It's crazy to think everything included on here is only the tip of Marvel's multiverse iceberg. Imagine adding the pre-Disney+ Marvel series and all the Spider-Man media connected to ATSV.

@@AbitofEverything4U I'd say the D+ shows are easier to understand as branches. The ABC series could take place in a timeline where 1) the Peggy Carter series is canon where the short was canon in the main MCU timeline, 2) Fury went ahead with Project T.A.H.I.T.I. when in the main timeline he either didn't go through with it (or even think of it in the first place) or got cold feet when he saw how much pain it put Coulson in (pragmatic as Fury is, he's not heartless), and 3) the Inhumans exist where in the main timeline, they don't. This handwaves away any contradictions between the shows and the main MCU. Something similar could be done with the Netflix shows and Runaways/Cloak and Dagger; the Defenders are being brought into the main MCU but maybe the idea is that the same events from the shows happened offscreen in the main timeline, allowing for an internal soft reboot- there aren't many contradictions lore-wise between the Netflix or Hulu shows and the films. Agents of SHIELD, however, has very different lore especially in later seasons, and while that did make it more exciting it also means that adding them would require some actual explanation. Perhaps Daisy falls through a portal and ends up in the main MCU that way, the opposite of what happened to Photon (I keep getting Maria and Monica switched so I'm using her hero name).

3:24 Right before Avengers: Infinity War I can partially understand why you would say Avengers: Secret Wars because that should theoretically be a big multiverse movie.

Still great breakdown though I think technically ATSV could take place before or at the same time as Venom 3 just because both movies take place after No Way Home.
Yeah, I'm very curious to see if we'll learn more about ATSV's connection with V:TLD when the movie drops. It seems Eddie pops in and out of 616 within a day's span of time (or maybe less?) and so it does make that ATSV movie tricky, since Miguel refers to NWH in the past tense. ofc, that dude seems to know what's going on everywhere, so perhaps the flow of time doesn't impact his knowledge of events.
Agreed...Inhumans is definitely canon to the multiverse. So I may include all of those pre-D+ shows over to the far left, but just not connect them to anything. Would be nice to have them all on there somewhere.
Good question...so I'll find out for sure when I see the movie tomorrow, but it seems like Venom and Eddie leave Venom: LTBC...then appear in No Way Home...and then return to appear in Venom: TLD. So Venom 2 and Venom 3 don't directly connect, as strange as that seems.

A day on 616 might not be the same length as a day on 99999, even though they are likely considered to both have 24-hour days... 😭 It's an uncomfortable road to travel down and it's nice that these issues can be handwaved away by the creators
Good point...not only can each universe have its own present day, but the flow of time could indeed be different. Noir's universe, for instance, seems to be stuck in the 1930's. So yeah, it's all pretty crazy stuff!

Great questions! 1. I totally understand your feelings on the OG X-Men trilogy placement in the 90's. I've moved it around a few times and no matter where I put it, someone says "dude, that's wrong"...lol! I can't win. 2. I will definitely add in those animated shows as soon as we get a cross-over. I'm hoping that What If season 3 gives us a tie-in. Fingers crossed! 3. DP&W doesn't confirm or deny The Gifted, so it falls into the fan head canon territory regarding whether to include it or not. The director of the show felt it could fit in the timeline between The Wolverine and DOFP, so I keep it there for completeness, but it has never been confirmed for sure. 4. ATSV does feature images of Andrew and Toby in the Web of Life and Destiny, but since they don't physically appear, I didn't put those links. 5. I say cereal is basically a soup, so yes! Again, fantastic questions. Always love hearing your thoughts on the timelines!

Earth-838, everyone is ki*led by Wanda (Earth-616), maybe in Secret Wars. 4. Spider-verse, TM (2002-7), AG (2012-14), and TH (2018-24). 5. X-verse, X-Men movies, and Deadpool (I can't believe he went to the MCU timeline) we will see him again in Secret Wars. 6. Elektra, Blade, and Johnny strom (Deadpool tells Cassandra and ki*led Johnny), and where's gambit now? He's in the Void. Why did you put VM: TLD in VM movies timeline? It has not come out yet.
Good question about V:TLD...I put it there as I wanted to show the connection to ATSV and I'm thinking that connection can't occur until after TLD. I'll find out tomorrow when I watch it, but I admit to being slightly confused by it right now.
Super cool that you combined this into a big single image, but, and I say this with a ton of love and respect for you, it seems messy. It’s kinda weird that your going down in columns, I get why, but most timelines are horizontal, there’s some really long lines that make it kinda hard to follow and they cut through a ton of other projects just because they have to reach so far, it’s still great that you have all this here, but I think it could be done better. So here’s my constructive criticism, I’d suggest making it horizontal, with everything on the sacred timeline in the middle with a thicker line than the rest. Then you have the other timelines above and below it (x-men, d&w heroes, Loki/what if, etc) likely based on how much it connects to the main sacred timeline. This would also allow for what I feel would be a very simple removal of things like agents of shield, helstrom, runaways etc. So you can have a “official” version with all of the definitely canon stuff, and a bigger version with everything. I also totally understand why you didn’t, but I think something like this absolutely should have all of the spiderverse connections too. Do all this (likely taking inspiration from some of geekritiques awesome timelines) and I think you’d have something truly amazing. You’ve worked so hard on getting all this info, and I think that having it all look super clear and easier to build on in the future would make it way more worth the effort. In fact I don’t know if you’ve ever talked with him, or would even be open to the idea, but I think seeing a collab between you two would be really awesome and this would be the perfect way to do it. I’ve been thinking more and more about what’s a good idea for you to do for 20k subs as a huge celebration of everything you’ve done so far, and I really think this would be perfect. You may be already working on something and I’m sure I’ll love whatever it is either way. But man this would be SOOO cool to see. I know it’s probably a pipe dream and a lot easier to say then to do, but I hope you keep some of these ideas in mind for future timeline videos at least. While I love the info you give, I’ve always felt like the presentation and timeline is a little confusing and messy and there’s gotta be something to do to help with that. It's funny you mention that. So I didn't used to have it in the timeline and then I had alot of people ask me why I left it out. Thus, that's why I added it in. But I agree, it's hard to know what to do with it. Some fans consider it canon and it seems Jane really liked it, so I've kept it in, but it is a questionable choice, as you mention.

Near 5:28 i love that universes have different present days whenever people are being like this hoilday is supposed to be here not here etc. I try not to go its a different universe it may have its own set of rules n different hoilday dates . Good question! So they heavily teased that the venom / morbius universe was going to have a Spider-Man and the assumption was that it would be Andrew's Spidey...but alas, Sony chose not to go that direction and so we have a Spidey-less universe. Sigh.

I love it. If there's anything I would change, it would be just to order things horizontally with where you would place them in a watch order, so there should be a big gap between Captain America and the rest of the MCU while you populate a side of the screen with a good number of the other Marvel movies, and then when you reach something like Loki, you cram in the revised X-Men timeline, you have the Venom and Spider-Verse movies happen more in relation to No Way Home, meaning there's bigger gaps between certain sections of the MCU, but that's just me. Instead of making an image that fills a 16x9 ratio, you just have the image be however long it needs to be. Maybe that's something I need to do for myself just for fun.

During Spider-Man Far From Home post-credits, Eddie Brock says, "Maybe I should go to New York and speak to this Spider-Man" and we know that during the Madame Web ending Mary Parker gave birth to Peter Parker. Also X-Men The Last Stand takes place in the year 2000 and The Wolverine takes place one year after in the year 2001.
I wondered about Madame Web connecting to Venom's universe, but the director said they aren't connected in this article: ew.com/madame-web-dakota-johnson-exclusive-preview-8432016.

I think that the MCU Wiki changed Earth-838's year to be concurrent with Earth-616. Maybe the production date of Multiverse of Madness was during February 2021, so that appeared onscreen as an non-canon easter egg.
Interesting...it seems the wiki is using the dates in the timeline book to say that 838's present day is Nov, 2024. I wonder if the timeline book was using dates that are relative to 616's present day, even when describing what's happening in 838? I fully endorse the timeline book, but I don't know that the timeline book was trying to tell us the present date relative to 838's universe. Anyway, thanks for pointing that out. Very interesting indeed!
I think the image looks pretty good, a bit confusing at first, but once really look at all the connections it starts to make alot more sense. Only thing I would say you could add (apart from the pre disney+shows) are the Team Thor One-Shots, they could be added and labeled as TVA Branches like What if.

certain things cannot be made canon bc of contradictions, for example Agents of shield (and runaways iirc) have a Darkhold. Also the 2005-2007 Fantastic 4 films are confusing bc they have a Galactus, but don't leaks suggest the Galactus we'll see in the MCU Fantastic 4 will be the only one in the multiverse? If so, the 2007 film cannot be canon at least. I'm also unsure if canonicity is symmetric, like No Way Home may be canon to the Spierverse without the Spiderverse being canon to the MCU, kinda like how Thanos/infinity war is referenced in Agents of Shield, despite the fact AoS cannot be canon
Excellent feedback! Yeah, I think it may be tough to make AoS and Runaways canon. That may well be why Marvel has held off so long on doing so. I do agree that if Galactus is determined to only exist once in the multiverse, then the 2007 Fan 4 movie is on shaky ground. It could be that they say that movie doesn't feature a variant of the true Galactus (i.e. the one appearing in the new movie) since we never even see Galactus and just see the cloud. So it could be he was named Galactus but isn't considered the same being. Weak answer, but that is a way it could work. And yeah, I'm unsure if Feige will end up considering the Spider-Verse to be canon to the MCU. I've placed it on there for now, but it may need to come off. Again, fantastic feedback on the vid. Really appreciate you sharing your thoughts!

If you have added in projects not connected to MCU or Other Universes, like Madame Web or Legion. I think you should add in movies like Ghost Rider, Fant4stic, and Man-Thing.
Its outrageous that stuff like Blade: The Series, Madame Web, No Good Deed, Legion, Gifted, Once upon a Deadpool and Dirty Laundry but totally erased AoS, Agent Carter, Inhumans, Cloak and Dagger, Runaways and Helstrom

@@AbitofEverything4U I'd say the D+ shows are easier to understand as branches. The ABC series could take place in a timeline where 1) the Peggy Carter series is canon where the short was canon in the main MCU timeline, 2) Fury went ahead with Project T.A.H.I.T.I. when in the main timeline he either didn't go through with it (or even think of it in the first place) or got cold feet when he saw how much pain it put Coulson in (pragmatic as Fury is, he's not heartless), and 3) the Inhumans exist where in the main timeline, they don't. This handwaves away any contradictions between the shows and the main MCU.
Something similar could be done with the Netflix shows and Runaways/Cloak and Dagger; the Defenders are being brought into the main MCU but maybe the idea is that the same events from the shows happened offscreen in the main timeline, allowing for an internal soft reboot- there aren't many contradictions lore-wise between the Netflix or Hulu shows and the films. Agents of SHIELD, however, has very different lore especially in later seasons, and while that did make it more exciting it also means that adding them would require some actual explanation. Perhaps Daisy falls through a portal and ends up in the main MCU that way, the opposite of what happened to Photon (I keep getting Maria and Monica switched so I'm using her hero name).

Honestly as far as the non-D+ shows, I don't mind if they're sacred timeline or not because either way they'd be fair game for Secret Wars which in and of itself is exciting! I dunno if we can count Blade The Series but I get it. Also I thought all the Punishers were referenced? Still great breakdown though I think technically ATSV could take place before or at the same time as Venom 3 just because both movies take place after No Way Home.
Yeah, I'm very curious to see if we'll learn more about ATSV's connection with V:TLD when the movie drops. It seems Eddie pops in and out of 616 within a day's span of time (or maybe less?) and so it does make that ATSV movie tricky, since Miguel refers to NWH in the past tense. ofc, that dude seems to know what's going on everywhere, so perhaps the flow of time doesn't impact his knowledge of events.

I'm confused about the Venom films not being connected directly.
Good question...so I'll find out for sure when I see the movie tomorrow, but it seems like Venom and Eddie leave Venom: LTBC...then appear in No Way Home...and then return to appear in Venom: TLD. So Venom 2 and Venom 3 don't directly connect, as strange as that seems.

Good point...not only can each universe have its own present day, but the flow of time could indeed be different. Noir's universe, for instance, seems to be stuck in the 1930's. So yeah, it's all pretty crazy stuff!

Yeah, I may go ahead and include them to the left of the MCU in their own area. I don't think I can in good faith merge them into the main MCU until Marvel gives us a firm answer, but having them on the bigger image somewhere makes sense.

The series made a big effort to link themselves to another, like the Luke Cage Cloak and Dagger connections, the Cloak and Dagger Runaways ones, or the Inhumans, AoS and Agent Carter ones. By the way, I thought that Agent Carter became canon officially when Jarvis show up in Endgame. ¿It wasn't?

1. I totally understand your feelings on the OG X-Men trilogy placement in the 90's. I've moved it around a few times and no matter where I put it, someone says "dude, that's wrong"...lol! I can't win.
2. I will definitely add in those animated shows as soon as we get a cross-over. I'm hoping that What If season 3 gives us a tie-in. Fingers crossed!
3. DP&W doesn't confirm or deny The Gifted, so it falls into the fan head canon territory regarding whether to include it or not. The director of the show felt it could fit in the timeline between The Wolverine and DOFP, so I keep it there for completeness, but it has never been confirmed for sure.
4. ATSV does feature images of Andrew and Toby in the Web of Life and Destiny, but since they don't physically appear, I didn't put those links.
5. I say cereal is basically a soup, so yes!

Great question! So, I use powerpoint to create most of it, and then put it all in paintbrush to create the larger image and clean up in any small issues. Hope that helps!

Super cool that you combined this into a big single image, but, and I say this with a ton of love and respect for you, it seems messy. It’s kinda weird that your going down in columns, I get why, but most timelines are horizontal, there’s some really long lines that make it kinda hard to follow and they cut through a ton of other projects just because they have to reach so far, it’s still great that you have all this here, but I think it could be done better.
So here’s my constructive criticism, I’d suggest making it horizontal, with everything on the sacred timeline in the middle with a thicker line than the rest. Then you have the other timelines above and below it (x-men, d&w heroes, Loki/what if, etc) likely based on how much it connects to the main sacred timeline.
This would also allow for what I feel would be a very simple removal of things like agents of shield, helstrom, runaways etc. So you can have a “official” version with all of the definitely canon stuff, and a bigger version with everything.
I also totally understand why you didn’t, but I think something like this absolutely should have all of the spiderverse connections too.
Do all this (likely taking inspiration from some of geekritiques awesome timelines) and I think you’d have something truly amazing. You’ve worked so hard on getting all this info, and I think that having it all look super clear and easier to build on in the future would make it way more worth the effort.
In fact I don’t know if you’ve ever talked with him, or would even be open to the idea, but I think seeing a collab between you two would be really awesome and this would be the perfect way to do it.
I’ve been thinking more and more about what’s a good idea for you to do for 20k subs as a huge celebration of everything you’ve done so far, and I really think this would be perfect. You may be already working on something and I’m sure I’ll love whatever it is either way. But man this would be SOOO cool to see.
I know it’s probably a pipe dream and a lot easier to say then to do, but I hope you keep some of these ideas in mind for future timeline videos at least. While I love the info you give, I’ve always felt like the presentation and timeline is a little confusing and messy and there’s gotta be something to do to help with that.
Again I wanna be clear I totally love this, I have nothing but respect for the effort you put into this stuff and I’m sure it’s probably upsetting to put all of this effort into something just for someone to say, cool but it kinda sucks do this instead lol, but I just wanna help out anyway I can and I think your whole timeline could be better so I wanted to give some feedback.

It's funny you mention that. So I didn't used to have it in the timeline and then I had alot of people ask me why I left it out. Thus, that's why I added it in. But I agree, it's hard to know what to do with it. Some fans consider it canon and it seems Jane really liked it, so I've kept it in, but it is a questionable choice, as you mention.

Good question! So they heavily teased that the venom / morbius universe was going to have a Spider-Man and the assumption was that it would be Andrew's Spidey...but alas, Sony chose not to go that direction and so we have a Spidey-less universe. Sigh.
