Great video. any excellent options, however I guess I'll just wait until it comes out for Mac. I like playing these games offline. ill probably just buy on ps5 and then buy again when its available on Mac through steam.

Yes I believe so, because you save the game through the cloud on the platform in which you own the game. For example I own the game through rhe Xbox PC version and I save my city to the Microsoft cloud. Same thing would work with steam linked to your paradox account.
I got it working via whisky somehow. The performance is great for a M1 Pro with low settings. I tried to load a 90k city and the frame rate is acceptable
Caution on the Parallels route on a Mac with an M series chip. I got windows running, but Cities 2 won’t install as it requires an intel processor. I’ll try the other ideas tomorrow.
i tried it via geforce now and i can get into the game but i can't build and it doesn't show any menus so i only have the picture of the landscape. how can i fix this?
probably you got some mods installed. I played before normally, but once they released mods inside the game, I tried and got the same issue. So, no mods for us right now.

I’m actually making a video about this now, covering the three nvidia plans. I found that with my city of 8,000 people the free version gives around 20 frames persecond but looks good. Then the first paid option is 50 frames and next paid option is 90 frames. I’m not sure about the windows emulator, sorry.
Does this also work for Euro Truck Simulator 2 Multiplayer? I’ve got the offline one already straight from steam but the Multiplayer version is a mod with a server from TruckersMP

Yes the game can be linked to your paradox account. You can install paradox mods (idk about dlc yet). The queue list on average is like 7 minutes. But if you pay then there is no wait.
It requires decent internet, but you can test it on the nvidia app for free or google. You can just look up “internet speed test” and google will tell you if it is fit for gaming.

Works perfectly on Nvidia, but cannot re-load a game I saved to Steam Cloud. Do I have to start a new game everytime?

yea that could be a mod issue messing things up, but the problem I've run into is getting any mods to work, not the game
