Unreal Engine 5.5 doesn't have much for city simulation, it is like one of the worst engines for it haha. It does have some insane lighting and rendering improvements but i don't see it being used for massive simulations like cities skylines. So this video is honestly misleading and UE5.5 is absolutely not the future for city simulations.

Someone tell this man, there is a thing calls Draw Calls, and All City Skylines games are Made With Unity, Unreal do not have features like DOTS what Unity has and a Game like City Skylines in UE5 will be unplayable cause of lags, Nanite can't save you from that. Talking from my real experience. The dream you are having, I had the same, but now I have realization, UE5 not for solo devs, only great if a big studio uses it

It pisses me off that I pre-ordered the deluxe edition way back, and all of my Contant creators were doing streams and promotions and stuff and then they just move on because of how badly launched instead of actually saying something to developers because my pre-order was based off of those streams and stuff, and I feel duped I have never seen a company fumble so hard and lose so much reputation with the community overnight
