Amazing Hearfelt Performance.Of all the performances of the american Idol finalist, this girl,brooke white, is the reason why i kept on watching american Idol 2 to 3 times on tv and online. I was absolutely touched by all of her performances and 3 songs from her are on my favorites. I actually love 3 to 4 of the finalists this year, even Amanda who kept on singing rock songs, because i dont really love rock. But brooke is the one i remember the most.
Before tonight I knew she had talent. Now, I am a fan. Brooke, you could leave Idol right now and be a shining star in the world. I have always said that singing is not about notes and dazzling technically or grandstanding... (although she can do all that too) its about touching people from a distance and making them FEEL something real. The Muses are with you Brooke White. You are a light bringer! And you were absolutely lovely tonight. Brooke, you will sing to the world.

I think she's amazing. i love her voice, very reconizable, che commects with the song, with the audience. She's like a female James Taylor. She isn't the 'get out of the floor' singer, screaming tipe, which is cool also. I don't think she'll win, she's competing with great singers. But I believe she'll do well outside idol afterwars
I don't think the tears were fake. Right behind the judges was a sign that said "We love Brooke (but we miss our nanny)" with a picture of her two "kids." If you had a heart, that would get to it, because it's obvious she really loves those kids.
I love her!!!! Amazing! I don't think she is an amazing singer, but I think the best thing about it is she really connects with the audience. Plus she was crying in this one. I hope she gets into the top two inlike david cook...i really don't like him

@TheYoungMusician She wasn't trying to be like Paul Mccartney. She was trying to sing it in a version that's her own. If singing in a version that is her own is classified as"showoffy/ singing more notes than necessary" at least she's singing it the way she imagined herself singing it. Of course Paul Mccartney is better.He's a legend, and she seems like a very down to earth person.There's no way she thought she'd be better than Paul Mccartney,but does that mean she can't sing the song she wants?

I think her voice really suits this song, I was just dissapointed that she tried to over-do it by adding all those, how to say it, 'voice decorations'. At some points the vibratto in her voice was very fake and it didn't sound well. I'm surprised the judges didn't mention that about her, but I do agree it was nice.
Nonsense! Hollywood week she sang really really well. "Beautiful" was sung well even better than MJ. And do you need to leave this kind of comment here where is her best performance on the show? Go do something useful elsewhere, please.
sorry, i'll have do disagree. Paul has so much more power and soul in his voice. My point of view. It was a good preformance, but no one can top Paul, and atleast not the Beatles.
Too much 'voice decorations' (gotta borrow that one) and soulless. I tend to agree with the posters below on those points. Totally over pimped by the judges on this performance that portends of the overly emotional breakdowns to come.
