Here's a tip, easy clean. Soak the bucket and grill base, clean as shown in the video. Remove the mesh net from lid. Put it back in the bucket, add baking soda then vinegar. Bubbles up, scrub with a brush.
Best investment for food cooking in general. I don’t use the oven any more or outside grill. No joke it works super nice and very user friendly with a good manual chart for temps for food
I just recently bought one of these and love it! So I've been through a few air fryers and in my experience this one really does the job more than two others I have had for crisping things. Especially like potatoes. A little oil and placing the potatoes in the bottom of the pan and the nice thing too is your can adjust the temperature and time while it cooks. I think maybe other air fryers can do this but one of my old ones could not. But the fries I made were nice and crispy! Anyways, nice review!
I haven't used my oven in months. This fryer/grill is the best gadget EVA. Baked potatoes, steaks/tips, sausages, fries, frozen apps. So easy to clean, even with my arthritis....unlike so many I've tried. Mine STAYS on my counter. Don't know why you'd put it away?????
I just received my Ninja Foodi 5 in 1 grill from Amazon yesterday. I grilled a huge $20 ribeye. It came out perfect in 10 minutes. Anxious to try additional meats. I love this appliance! Replacing my Emeril Lagase convection oven. No regrets.
@@OutlawMustard22 I used the grill settings. It automatically set to 500 degrees. I did not increase or decrease. I used the programmed settings. I have discovered that I cut the time in half for chicken wings and decrease time from 10 minutes to 8 minutes for huBBY’s steak.
I got one recently and tried just once. It's really awesome. In order not to have the smell filled in the whole house, I put it under a powerful range hood so as to draw the steam and smell out immediately.
Just tried for the first time today. Didnt think the directions explained to much how to do things. Got a great deal at Kohl's. Thanks for sharing your review. Not giving up my gas grill because I still like to have guests. 😊
I'm glad you found the review helpful! It's great that you got a good deal at Kohl's. If you have any questions about using the Ninja Foodi Airfryer or need more tips, feel free to ask. Happy cooking, and enjoy your meals! 😊
After a year of heavy use and heavy cleaning and this thing still does its job perfectly and all the no stick surfaces are perfect. I really love mine for how it sears steaks and burgers to perfection. I have tossed a couple of damp waterlogged smoking maple or hickory pallets under the grill for extra smoking action. Of course my smoke detector screems and protests but Ninja grill fryer don't care and and solders on
I had to take the top of my 5 n 1 Ninja air fryer. Once got screws out, take to spot where you have lots of fresh air. Simply because the oven spray cleaner I use stinks.. I never like to breathe the fumes. spray it down, let it set a while, then rinse all the cleaner off. Make sure you keep all the screws so you can put back together. I did not mess with the 3 little screws on the top of fryer, Didn't take that many screws out. Hope this helps and I wondered about the tin foil also. Take care and thanks for standing guard for America
in the recipe book that comes with it, it recommends tossing or flipping air fried food half way through but every time you open it up, it takes another 3 or 4 minutes to preheat again and then you have to open it again when it says "add food" so it will start the timer. Does anyone else have this problem??? It's so annoying.
Our son gave us one, we would never have purchased one, BUT my husband and I haven’t stopped using it for every meal. We haven’t used our stove or oven since , ITS PERFECT FOR TWO PEOPLE !
Like your video. Simple straight forward no waste time talking. Its so hard ti buy in UK. After gas and electricity huge price rise seems to everyone is replacing their convetional ovens. I hope get any ninja grill one soon.
I LOVE mine...I cook EVERYTHING in mine.... but I do Air fryer for my hamburgers, wings, chicken, pork chops, hot dogs....meat loaf... even brownies using the AIR FRYER setting only!.... best wings ever....I keep mine on the counter all the time since I just about use it everyday!
I just bought one from Amazon for just over $100 and going to try burgers and frozen fries today. Think I’ll be using this a lot. I love grilled food but as a senior can’t manage an outdoor one so think this will work.
@@ALLElectricChannel Worked great but next time will do the fries last as they were cold by the time the burgers were done. Burgers were great and easy to use.
Hello love the video. I'm a soldier and this appliance has saved me so many times. I have stayed in many barracks rooms where there is no stove top or oven. I have had my NinjaFoodie for over 2 years and I love it to death. My biggest gripe is that once you really start using this thing a lot you will begin to get crazy grease build up even with cleaning it and once you start to get that hard grease it's nearly impossible to remove. My flash guard has spots were the opening are clogging don't get me started about the grill and the roast pot. So putting an aluminum tray inside it and then will line that with tin foil just to prevent even more grease havoc. So how to I truly remove the grease? So I can once again use it as it was intended.
I see you are using your grill on a countertop with cabinets above... this is the same situation I have as my kitchen does not have an island. Could you tell me how high is the unit with the lid open? I need to know I have enough space for it. Thanks so much.
@@ALLElectricChannel Thank you so much... I asked on many channels this question and no one else answered me. the actual measurement is 16 inches open as I finally did get one and I used it once so far. It is a large appliance for on the counter, but it does work.
Thanks John and I'm glad you liked the video. Most of my burgers are make with oats, spices, some spicy sauce, and lots of love ;-) Don't recall the exact recipe. hope this helps.
The smoke factor depends on three things i.e amount of oil used, temperature and the type of food. More oil = smoke. High temp = smoke. Grilling veggies like onions also tends to produce smoke. I have a very sensitive smoke alarm installed at my place and i usually just put a shower cap over it to circumvent the problem. The unit doesn't produce a copious amount of smoke by any means but there is some of it.
I was hoping to see more of the bake and dehydrator that is what has me most curious with this. I have a gift card for Kohls ill be using if i do decide to get it though and with my coupons I should be able to get it for under $100

It makes phenomenal bacon too in the air fryer! Preheat then 6 minutes! No turning necessary. Perfect every time!
What setting? Air crisp or grill?

You can switch the pre heat option off. Switch jt off, then open and close the lid.

Hey there! Great video
How loud are the beeps? Air friers and microwave beep so damn loud
Can you leave it outside? If so, what about rain and outside elements? Is it hot when you use it indoors?
They make an outdoor version
How is the air fryer in comparison to others. Grilling would be secondary for me--I have a 6 qt Instant Vortex Plus
air fryer is great! I really think it does a great job. We've used it for fries, and other frozen foods.

Yes and yes. It comes with one that I put in the dishwasher and you can buy new ones on Amazon
Do you still use it?
Just an idea for a video.
Update this video.
Thanks

Great review,
I didn't find the link to the tongs used to purchase via your affiliate link
If you had a shelf at the bottom of your cabinet.
With full extension runners .
It would make it easier to get it in and out.
Great point. Could be a worthwhile addition
Hey does that air fryer bin come with the ninja?
Yes
Wow I wish I had a big sink like you. I'm used to the dual trailer house sinks:( Excellent Video!
Thanks!
Does the airfryer need to be in if I’m just grilling?
No you can see in the video he took it out to grill
Is this create smoke for some oily food
when cooking burgers, there is no smoke.
So you don't need to add oil?
correct.

No
It’s cool for quick inside meals, but I’d never get rid of my grills. Ribs, full chickens, turkeys, etc. Thanks for the thorough review!
I like your video, you need to do more on this Foodie, like when to use grill over air
Glad you liked it! More coming soon 😁
Not recommend in studio apt or small apt place or else everything will smell smoke and you will have teary eyes.
I have had mine for over a year..no smoking at all
Can anyone compare this to the ninja WoodFire Pro?
Not a bad idea, i'll see what I can do.

No, not too bad

No problem

its just steaming it, not really grilling
