Just checked, and these are indeed in stock right now (8-3-21) on Amazon!

Just got the IYV prs semi hollow copy. I'm more than happy with it. All I had to do was tune. Looks great and plays even better. These I think are the best bang for your buck. I cleaned it up and now going to polish it. Great videos sir. Keep em coming.
Thanks so much for watching and commenting! That’s one IYV that I don’t have. Glad you are happy with it, and enjoying it! I have been quite happy with all that I do have as well!! Truly appreciate your stopping in to the channel! Thanks so much….👍🎸
@@JimmyStewart1 when I order it there were only 3 left. An hour later I went back and checked and they were already out. I'm waiting for the new shipment to see what they have. This is my first IYV and I'm more than happy with it. You are welcome Jimmy. Thanks again
@@spookshilljoe7376
Yep! Most of the IYV’s sell out pretty quickly once they drop. Enjoy! 👍🎸
These caught my eye on Amazon and after watching your vids I ordeed one! Can't wait for it to arrive :)
That’s excellent! Congrats on your new “Stang” hybrid! Hope you enjoy it, as it’s really a fun guitar to play (at least for me) and I think it’s one of the IYV’s that slips under the radar! Thanks so much for watching and commenting…it’s greatly appreciated! 👍🎸
@@JimmyStewart1 I like the odd ball guitars and as well had a 60's Mustang that I now miss dearly and wish I had hung on to. I'll create a channel once my order arrives and contact you with a link. I have not played in a few years so, it should be interesting lol All the best!
@@bloosietone2868
Sounds good! Appreciate the follow up! I always seem to regret getting rid of a guitar…probably why I haven’t done it since the late 70’s….just can’t let them go anymore, though I really should think about thinning the herd. 😎
I'm going to need a little bit more that that was grooving
🙏
Thanks ever so much Aaron….there’s a lot of other vids here on the channel, and I would be honored if any others would be to your liking!! Truly appreciate your stopping in and hope to see you around the channel more!! 👍🎸
I got mine after watching your review.i got mine for 70 bucks after contacting Amazon and complaining about the rusty frets and strings.thanks amazon.mine took all most no setup.sounds great,I really like the surfer sounds you get.i didn't like the black block head stock logo,so I removed it and inlays the head stock with mother of pearl.the color is pretty cool too.another great iyv,in my opinion.
$70?? Nice! This is one of my favorite IYV’s…just a very cool guitar with unique sounding pups! I love it…
Thanks so much for watching and commenting TJ….appreciate it! 👍
I continually consider that IYV guitar. So far, I haven't pulled the trigger, but it's very intriguing.
Superglue on the finger tips!
Ha!! It’s one of my fav’s Chance!! Superglue??? Na….just a day or two back in the studio….😎
Thanks for watching and commenting…. Appreciate it! 👍
That song sounds like it could be a psycadylic Blues rock freak out bridge to the song Summertime!
Thanks for watching and commenting Kevin…I suppose you could be correct in your thinking here…😎
Truly appreciate your stopping in to the channel, and glad you enjoyed the jam!! 👍🎸
@@JimmyStewart1 yeah it was pretty smokin'!!!

Thanks so very much Kevin….👍🙏👍
I would buy that track. Jimmy, thanks for all you do. I've wanted to beca Firefly fan, but the limited availability made me look to IYV, and your reviews (and Rick Romanelli's) helped me pull the trigger on 2. Now I'm considering this and the thin line Tele, and maybe the LP if they hey a color I like. Thanks.
My pleasure!! Thanks so much for watching and commenting! Appreciate your stopping in to the channel, and hope to see more of you around! Have fun, and keep picken’!!👍🎸
Neil Young did okay with Em too!
Yes he did…😎

Get down Jimmy, moving that leg, really helps to hit those notes.

I mean the whole thing was great too. Wish I could play like that!

Thanks so much….you can!! Just get yourself a pair of comfy slippers and break them in for a few years….🤣
Actually I felt a bit “rusty” as I hadn’t played anything for a couple weeks while on vacation. Ocean water and calluses also don’t mix well, but I put my slippers on and went for it anyway. Truly appreciate your stopping in….👍🎸
Haha I was going to comment on the slippers in every video

Not every video, as sometimes I forget and get caught up in other things, but yeah….I like to be comfortable! 😎
Nice Jam!
I fall in love with this guitar unfortunately I can't buy it in Italy
Thanks so much for watching and commenting Francesco! I appreciate your stopping in to the channel. I would check on Inyen Vina guitars EBay storefront. You may be able to get one through Inyen Vina guitars direct, though I am sure the shipping would be costly. Thanks again for stopping in, and hope to see you around the channel more! 👍🎸
After watching your review, I just received mine about a week ago, and I can't put it down Jimmy, it's one of my favorite, out of the 3 I already own, their fantastic 300 jazz box, and one of their emerald green Les Paul copy's, really impressed with the quality of these guitars, but my small hands keep gravitating back to the Vstsng,it is such a blast to play, I found an old flat bar trem arm, off of an old japanese import I striped years ago,and I'm going to adapt it to this IYV mustang, definitely is a sleeper guitar just as you described it, thanks for laying down a new shop track to listen to, and for all you do, awesome fun.
It’s a great guitar that slips under the radar for whatever reason…glad you are enjoying yours! Have fun adapting that trem….should be interesting! Let me know how you make out with that mod…. Thanks so much for watching and commenting, I truly appreciate your stopping in and support ! 👍🎸
Nice sound Jimmy!
Miss ya already Brother!
Where is that “assistant” you were thinking of hiring! LOL
Thanks so much for watching and commenting Dan!! Miss you guys too! Had a great time!
I am still interviewing for the assistant position….it’s a tough job, but somebody’s got to do it…🤣🤣

Yes I am…👍
@@JimmyStewart1 ah can't find ya
The guitar sounds fantastic but I know it’s the player that makes it so. Honestly, Jimmy, this life-with-Covid has made it hard to listen to live music and be comfortable being in a group of people. For me, anyway. This jam is so wonderful because it’s like having a private concert. I can’t begin to tell you how much I appreciate this. How I love listening to you play. Thanks so much!
That is so kind Kimbo…thanks so much for the kind words! I really wish I could go out and do some playing as well, but there is really no where around here that is having live music much. This is my way on continuing on…😎
Truly appreciate your stopping in…it’s been awhile since I have seen you around the channel! Welcome back! 👍🙏
@@JimmyStewart1 I plan to watch this several more times or, really, whenever I need to feel some good vibes. 🤩

The beauty of film…😎
Got one coming in a few days.Has upgraded grey bottom pickups ( originals come with it). Can't wait to get my jam on with it. Great playing by the way. What amp and effects pedals are you using?
Nice! Congrats and enjoy it! It’s a fun guitar to play. In this video I am using my Monoprice 15w Stage Right valve amp. In the intro I was playing pretty clean, using a bit of reverb and delay. I utilize a few different effects throughput, mostly using patches setup through my HoTone Ampero. Truly appreciate your stopping in to the channel and watching/commenting. 🎸👍
My HB version rattles so badly in the bridge saddles. I tried to use foil as a shim so the saddles sit tight but no luck. So far getting placating emails from Thomann...they send friendly generic emails but so far offer no solutions. We will see. Might have to spend another 20 bucks for a new TOM...hoping a Wilkinson can sit on the existing pins. 😮
You could also try Guyker or MusicLilly and grab a roller ToM from them…
Hi Jimmy, what stomp box are you using? It sounds so good, thanks!
Hi F1carsguitar…thanks so much for watching and commenting. In this video, I was using my HoTone Ampero One, along with creating the “jam” backing track on the Roland Boss RC-5 Loop station. This was sent to my Monoprice Stage Right 15w valve amp (set to the 1w setting) and V30 Celestion 1x12 cabinet. Recording simply with my camera and Rode Mic…no pre or post editing or other sound processing. So glad to hear you enjoyed it. Truly appreciate your stopping in to the channel and hope to see you around more. Much thanks…🎸👍
Hey Jimmy what's going on what type of drum machine are you keeping the Rhythm with
Hi Aaron….I am using a Boss (Roland) RC-5 Loop Station for creating my loops and drum tracks here. Thanks so much for watching and commenting! Hope that helps explain! 👍🎸
hey Jimmy, does the tremolo bar just stay in?
Hi Curtis…thanks for watching and commenting! I am not quite sure what you mean by your question. If you are asking how the bar stays in, then yes you simply push it down and a collar inside catches it. That’s it…to remove, you simply pull it out! Hope that helps and thanks again for stopping in to the channel! 👍🎸
Hi Jimmy, i have a thought (oh no!), I find a hybrid string set works for me on my IYV mustang. .010, .013, .016, .026, .032 and .042 play like 9's on this short scale and on my Peavey T-15 Missisippi Mustang. Good balance and "touch" for all styles of play. Any thoughts? Thanks Sir Jimmy!
That sounds interesting John! In fact, I plan on trying something here shortly just to see if it works (for me) as I have been wanting to see and test on a couple guitars. Will post/video my attempt and thoughts shortly. I normally use 9’s regardless of scale, so that’s what on the IVY Mustang right now. What set did you end up using, or did you buy separate string gauges?
@@JimmyStewart1 well Jimmy, I normally purchase all sizes of individual strings from Musician's Friend. The are packed in 12 ct. Many years now and they sound really good, stay in tune, with normal initial stretching, never break and work with vibratos well. Very inexpensive way to play. I choose strings mainly by scale length.
@@JimmyStewart1 BTW, I'm looking for note pitch stability with notes and chords and good easy play. A balance I guess.... Thanks!
@@johnwelch557
Interesting…I may take a look at that in the future! I use (and have been for many years now) D’Addario 9’s-42’s….Still have lots of sets left, so may be awhile 😎
@@johnwelch557
Yep! I think what most of us are looking for I would say. Thanks for the input as always John! 👍🎸
Have you done any mods to it?
Nothing but cleaning/conditioning the fretboard/frets and changing out the strings to my preferred D’Addario 9’s. The guitar is stock.
Check out my complete review of the guitar from out of the box here on the channel. I think I also sanded down the sides of the nut as well, as it sat high as I recall.
My guy, this is not lofi, lol. (I mean that in a positive way) This sounds more like Pink Floyd than anything I've heard in a while
Thanks so much for watching and commenting Emma….truly appreciate it! My interpretation of “lo-fi” to me means, unfiltered, unaltered, non-processed, sound as close to the room sound as possible. No fancy edits…just a jam as it happens without rehearsals…just play! 😎
So glad you enjoyed it…thanks again for stopping in! 👍🎸
@@JimmyStewart1 That's a nice interpretation of lofi - I think I like it better than mine. Thanks for posting the video, I have one of these IYVs on the way that I'm having made into a custom build, and hearing you play yours made me very excited to receive mine. :)
Thanks Emma…congrats on your new IYV and good luck on your build! 👍🎸
