- Leslie demonstrates how to create peas in a pea pod using shaped peyote stitch and seed beads. The "peas" are potato pearls.
Knowledge of peyote stitch would be helpful---this is not a beginner project.
Materials include 4.5-6mm green freshwater pearls, size 11/0 cylinder or seed beads and size 15/0 seed beads.
Hi Susan. I made a pair of your Peas-in-a-Pod. I enjoyed the project so much, I made another pair with different colored beads and pearls. Great design and better looking than the one by Potomac. Thank you for sharing and I look forward to learning from one of your other tutorials as I continue to learn how to do beadwork.
Thank you for your tutorials. I have learned so much. Please keep them coming.
What an adorable design!
Hello fellow Northeaster! Love this pattern. Thanks for sharing.
Absolutely adorable! And you are doing a better job of keeping the work within focus and within the frame of the video. Keep up the beautiful work, girl!
Super! Interest idea. Thank You for nice tutorial! 💐
Another fabulous tutorial. Thank you
Hi Leslie, I am a new subscriber to your videos and fairly new to beading. I was so tickled inside to see and try this peyote project. It turned out well. Wish I could show you but I am not on any social media channel. Peyote stitch is my favorite. Thank you for sharing with all of us. Your beaded work is truly an inspiration and I look forward to trying many more of your projects.

Adorable. Thank you.
These are darling! I’ve never done dimensional before but I’m going to give it a go. Thank you for the great tutorial! I love everything you do! I got some KO so I can try and make the other earrings of yours. 😬
Thank you!
Loved trying this design but did not enjoy using SoNo thread as I pierce the thread and lose my needle too many times. I will try 4lb. Fireline next time. I added too many rounds of herringbone resulting in excessive space below and atop the pearls. I could have added a fourth pearl or some smaller ones but what I ended up doing was adding some 15s to just one side at the top and bottom and zipped it up making it look even more realistic and super cute! Hope I can remember what I did to make the mate or this may have to be a pendant! Thanks for sharing, Leslie!
OMG😍soooooo cute ..thanks for sharing this 💕🌹

Do you condition K O thread?
It's pre-waxed so very silky--no need to condition.
