@@snailsandfairydust have made myself a pair, one for my sister and one for my friend and people keep complementing them 😍. Actually I have gotten some offers to buy a pair too, for which I am so grateful bc I have been making jewelry for years and it's been a persistant dream to create a small business for myself. Beading is such an accessible craft, unlike silver that requires tools and fire that I am not super comfortable using in my living room 😅. I have been crediting you for your amazing tutorials and patterns ❤️.
I purchased a pair of earrings made just like these. I checked out RUclips and found YOU. Very thankful for this video, now I can make my own. Thank you so much. I will make a .much shorter version.sybe about 2" total length not counting the ear wire.❤
I really enjoy your video. 👍👍👍👍👍 You are fun to watch…great personality and a great teacher❤ If we lived close, I would love beading with you Again, Thank you, for your videos!
Thank you so much for your videos. You inspired me to go into my 15 yr old stash and bead weave again. I have a short term memory problem. And Watching your videos is a good brain exercise for me.
Just found your channel and I think it's fabulous. Your videos are clear, consice, and so easy to follow! Have you tried using Tulip brand Japanese needles? I do huge beaded tapestries and they are now the only needles I use. I also use Fireline as the well as Miyuki & Presciosa beads too. I totally agree about using quality beads for items such as these. I have used other beads for crochet & other items where size wasn't an issue but the inconsistency in generic brands is pretty scary. Hope to bonge watch all of your vidros & buy your book. Thank you for your time & effort making all of these videos. 💕😊🪡🧵🟣
Thank you so much for the kind words about my videos. I have heard the Tulip needles are great. I will have to give them a try. I mostly use John James needles. “Huge Beaded Tapestries” sounds AMAZING! I recently bought cheaper beads for my 7 year old to learn with and the inconsistency in bead size is just shocking. Happy Beading! I hope your current tapestry turns out great!
Just found your account and I love your tutorials. I’ve beaded in years past but needed a refresher. Your instructions are clear and I appreciate the joy you have in the process that shines through :)
Wow. Beginner here 🤦 I tried to do this easy tutorial and somehow I kept on messing up. I finally figured it out, Im left handed and tried to do it backwards so I started from the end 🤦🤦🤦it wasn't working! Now ive caught on I think I'm gonna give it another try, I love these earrings girl tysm
News updates I tried these earrings again and they totally worked I'm on the last step still seems kind of wobbly but I think that's my fault but thank you so much for teaching me how to do these earrings I've watched this video repeatedly over and over and over again and I successfully did it so thank you so much😊
Thank you for sharing your skill with us beginners. Beading is so meditative, relaxing and a nice creative outlet. I was curious if you made your necklace? I love the delicate silhouette. If you did make it, I would love to learn out to make that necklace. Thank you and I look forward to making these earrings.
You can weave a peyote stitch tube around a hoop but herringbone stitch would be much better because it is flexible. Here’s a link to a video I have about that technique around a hoop earring. ruclips.net/video/Oi1P6z23chU/видео.htmlsi=QnlY_5caG7dWDDmO
Hello Darcy, Help! I can't seem to get the hang of the peyote stitch to make the earrings...... It took forever to thread the needle..... I broke 6 needle threaders...... I can't get the stopper bead to stay on the thread..... I can't secure the thread & 12 beads around my finger..... I try to pick up a bead & skip the next, but the bead I pick up, comes off the thread..... Ugh! I am so not relaxed..... You make it look so simple & easy..... I really wish I could get the hang of this..... I really like the earrings! Thank you for your time & I appreciate you putting out the video as well!
It’s important to use the right materials. A needle threaded won’t work with Fireline but if you have a size 12 beading needle and flatten your Fireline, you shouldn’t need it. It sounds like the thread it probably your problem because Fireline also doesn’t slip off of the needle very easily.
Maybe its just me or the area I live but I've found as of late my beloved TOHO have been absolute crud for quality and consistency. Anyone else finding this?
Interesting, I’ve never actually used TOHOs because I have SO many Delicas and I’m afraid to start a new hoard with a different brand 😂 but I’ve heard wonderful things about TOHOs
Sound like you just need to keep trying or that maybe your beads are not good quality. The beads have to be very uniform in size for everything to line up properly.
Thank you for this! Been looking for a good project to start beadwork on and this was a perfect instruction for me from start to finish ❤
Glad it was helpful!
I can't wait to try this! Thank you 😊
Omg, thank you ❤❤❤❤❤. First time ever I understand how to make a peyote stich. These are super lovely and I will make them today!
I’m so glad!

Hi Darcy! Could you tell me what size wire protector did you use here? Thanks! Love these.
Hi, I think answered you on Instagram already but just in case, I use 4.5 x 4 mm wire guards. Happy Beading!
Lindoooooo ❤
Can this be applied to hoop earrings for a beaded hoop earring? I am new to heading and I love it more than oil painting. It calms my anxious brain.

Ugh!
I am so not relaxed.....

Hello Darcy.😊
Hello 😊
Maybe its just me or the area I live but I've found as of late my beloved TOHO have been absolute crud for quality and consistency. Anyone else finding this?
They seem to do that.
Interesting, I’ve never actually used TOHOs because I have SO many Delicas and I’m afraid to start a new hoard with a different brand 😂 but I’ve heard wonderful things about TOHOs
This hard...my triangles are not perfect. The 2nd roll is where I mess up.
Sound like you just need to keep trying or that maybe your beads are not good quality. The beads have to be very uniform in size for everything to line up properly.
