  • Learn how to create beaded fringe earrings! This video is hosted by Tawny Trottier Cale, an enrolled member of the Standing Rock Sioux Tribe as well as a descendant of the Turtle Mountain Band of Chippewa and the Spirit Lake Nation. She loves to share her beadwork knowledge with others, creating custom beadwork with her sisters under the name "Sister Beads." In the video, Tawny will demonstrate how to make a pair of three color fringe earrings.
Visit a library or LINK Site to collect the necessary supplies to create a pair of earrings of your own. Kits will be available region-wide beginning February 22 and will be available as quantities last.
This project is available free-of-charge and is made possible thanks to funding from the Minnesota Arts & Cultural Heritage Fund.

Same for me. Tawny is the best teacher and by using those large beads we can actually see what she is doing and understand. My earrings turned out amazing for first time . Bo can’t tell you how excited I was to stumble on her video and order her packets. I’m a fan for life. Her work is truly amazing. Very talented young women . I hope she does more instruction videos on beading . I’d like to do a hat and the other earrings you does. That might really be reaching but I’d love to try
