    Hello everyone! I just made an Etsy where you can buy the stuff I make :) It’s madebymayajewelry!
    Definitely check it out! I don’t have everything I make listed on there yet, but if you have a request for something I made in this video that I’m not selling, reply to this comment. Thank you so much for watching!

      Hii, I'm skeptical with wire rings because I want to give some to my friends- is it safe to wear?? I'm planning to buy online

    • @bon4560
      @bon4560 2 года назад

      Also may I ask what's the m.m measurement of the wire??
      Edit: is aluminum wire better than the gauge wire??

    • @mouthofthesouth4267
      @mouthofthesouth4267 Год назад +2

      @@bon4560 aluminum is a type of wire and the gauges is the size of the wires around..... Aluminum is very soft and can bend very easy but on the plus side it doesn't tarnish. But I don't think you should pay more than like $5 per ring if they're aluminum because it is a very inexpensive material and the rings are not going to last very long🥺

      I actually got them off a broken bracelet from Walmart, but you can definitely find them on amazon! Just search up “semi precious stones for jewelry making.” You could also find some in the bead section of Michaels, but then you have to buy different colors separately :)

    Fantastic handiwork and really helpful video! I would encourage you to do multiple takes when doing your voiceover, maybe writing a lose script for yourself. This will help reduce your ums and stumblings, and be a huge boost for the quality of your videos. I do the same things when talking lol, so I very much get it

    I enjoyed your tutorial. It's so much fun to make the simpler rings and they are such a great success. ... I wonder why you don't check out "dead soft" wire? It's much easier to manipulate and comes in gold, silver, brass and some even more inexpensive variations. You can try a higher gauge wire, like 24 ga. That's also easier than a 20 or 22 ga.,

    • @itsawildmaya
      @itsawildmaya  Год назад +1

      Thank you for watching! I tend to avoid dead soft wire because sometimes I find that a piece of jewelry bends too easily after I make it - it definitely makes the process of making the jewelry much easier, but also means I sometimes have to figure out a better design to make the piece stronger.

    Can you do one but with thin wire?

    • @itsawildmaya
      @itsawildmaya  2 года назад +2

      I’ve tried making frames with thinner wire (like 22 gauge) but I find that thicker wire (18 gauge) works best for sturdy, long lasting wire rings. You could always double or triple up on a thinner wire to make the entire structure thicker, though! Hope this helps.
