The non tapered is a horrible mainline worst I’ve ever used
Gardner lines are all widely well regarded, sounds like a rare bad spool or user error depending on the issues?
That's rubbish m8, gt HD mainline is best mono I've ever used.. your doing something wrong if you can't get on with it..definitely.
