    Mark I've said it before I love the video's. As a match style fisherman I love the crossovers between both disciplines I.e feathering it in etc etc.

    Great Video! It would be really helpful to understand some of the details better. For example, how to hold the rod during the cast, how to feather the line during the cast to control the lead, rod alignment during the cast, relationship between your left and right hands during the cast. Maybe a part two is on the cards 👍

      Only stating the obvious. Mark is after all the superstar consultant of fox and couldn't exactly promote the ronnie or spinner. Now fox has a complete ronnie rang, himself and Harry have been all over Instagram with it.

    Very useful video thank you! Question though when your preparing to make your cast how far would you recommend the lead/spomb come down the rod?

    • @Kingcarparpeggio
      @Kingcarparpeggio 2 года назад +1

      Most people have it lined up with spigot joint ( about six foot). Not a hard and fast rule but ball park area.

    Cracking video and I know ti most this is a stupid question, how do u slow lead down

    • @fox_international
      @fox_international  2 года назад +1

      Very slight pressure from the tips of your fingers to the side of the spool. Just enough to slow the speed of the line coming off of the spool.

    • @glyncoltman2466

    Great video good tips. Regarding the amount Of casts how many does Mark make to find a spot and would he rather leave a "that will do" cast in fear of spooking them or keep casting to get it spot on

    Brilliant video. Iv recently returned to fishing and even though iv caught some fish, I'm sure iv not caught lots more because of following trends to cast loads leading about and spodding loads of bait. I will definitely be following these tips and putting them into practice next time I'm out on the bank

    Think alot of Anglers went against the Ronnie I did too but its such a good and reliable rig once you've used it a few times it's hard to ignore

    • @fox_international

    Above 30 wraps it is challenging to cast accurately and consistent. If you had covered this, this had been fun 😉.

    Is it possible to cast 100 or 100+ meters with a 3.6m 3.00lbs rod? If yes then HOW I do it? I was on fishing and i was using 0.40mm line and 100g lead and the best I managed to cast was 80 meters

    Am i missing something. Dont smash the lead in but then crash a number of spombs on top afterwards? In 6 feet of water how does that not spook the fish? Always confused me.

    Bet that fishery has the same rules as most….no wading and you must get into the water to deal with big fish.😂😂 The hypocrisy of it !! Not only that what are you supposed to do when it’s 6’ deep in the edge ?.

    Take the 15kg watch off to get an extra wrap 😝

    • @fox_international
      @fox_international  2 года назад +2

      Mark has found that the extra weight of the watch provides more stability to his wrist and increased tip speed. Maybe if Mark also added a watch to his other wrist we could be looking at a new casting World Record? 😱👀
