No guru. No coach. No book will help you if you don't take an action!
Not if you are beautiful then other people will help you
Yes, but impulsivity and scattered thoughts make it very very much easier with a coach, wife, friend who helps us retain focus. I don't have any of those. I understand the logic, I do not have the stick-to-it power developed yet. I've been trying for 30 years. I"m 50+ with ADHD.
@@wadepatton2433 you’re not alone. I’m in the same boat. A constant struggle to stay focused and complete tasks that others just breeze through. Getting started is the hardest, once going it goes well enough, but getting started on something takes enormous effort and I don’t know why. Then finishing it completely is near impossible, the result is an endless stream of work that others would get through in a quarter of the time and a 10th the stress.
Putting your plans down in writing really sets the INTENTION to do it. At the very least, the ATTEMPT is made at actualizing that goal. It acts on the subconscious, since you took the time to CONSCIOUSLY address it. It's not 100%, since we still have to have the DESIRE to see something to completion, but making lists and plans always helps me. Fortunately, I do this naturally, since I'm an INTJ and Capricorn sun. My mom is more haphazard in the way she conducts her life. I've suggested organizational tools and strategies, but she has no interest in tightening up her productivity or in completing the tasks that she keeps forgetting about. They're simply not priorities for her. She'd rather neglect the roof until the wood's rotted and it's leaking inside, rather than prevent larger problems and save a lot of money.
Being organized, yet still being flexible and adaptable to whatever Life brings your way that way, is optimal. It never hurts to jot down ALL goals/intentions, whether big or small, short- or long-term. The mere act of DOING it alters your cellular response. It gets into your muscle memory, and you create synapses. You strengthen your bonds to these thoughts and memories when you reinforce them with recall and commitment to complete it.
I have a list of affirmations that I created over a certain period of time. I haven't added to them in a while, since I've covered the range of life areas that I want to make myself mindful of, and they remain valid and relevant. One will be timeless, and it is this: "TODAY'S INTENTION: To make it a purposeful and productive one."
Thanks for sharing, and I totally agree with of keeping a to do list and scheduling your time is a genuinely valuable way to make best use of time. And no, they certainly don't restrict the day, they provide the structure to actually help you get true freedom!
A daily to do list definitely helped me, just in notes on my phone, write it the night before, not so many that’s it’s impossible to attain and all good!
Something about checking off tasks on a to do list really gets me going. I treat it like an exercise - I started off doing 3 high impact tasks per day. Like weights, I gradually increased the resistance (4 tasks, 5 tasks..). I've found that 7-8 tasks is my sweet spot.
This landed EXACTLY when I needed to restructure myself. Thank you!
Yeah same I been slacking lately and I need to get back to the top where I belong
For me as well
Love ur channel man!!! Love from India 🇮🇳
I'm in love with this channel. Thank you!!
These are great and inspiring ideas and examples of systems. And they demonstrate that there is more to productivity then I in the first place thought.
I am always grateful for being your subscriber...😌😌😌
THANKYOU VERY MUCH 🤗🤗
It would be amazing if you made a playlist or video that goes over setting goals, planning, and executing while avoiding distraction and staying on track.
I set goals, make to do lists and I am never able to get anything done. I get angry that I cannot make weekly progress and I just give up in frustration and never reach my goals.
The calender and schedules can be flexible and open to change lf necassary as unexpected things can take place sometimes ...
All the best from Lebanon to the world...
Four types of production
Unit or Job type of production.
Batch type of Production.
Mass Production or Flow production.
Continuous production or Process production.
For those who aren't familiar with bullet journal, please look for resources/tutorials from the creator himself, Ryder Carroll. People get intimidated with bujo because of the creative spreads out there, but this tool is actually meant to be simple.
I definitely fall into the "DON'T TELL ME WHAT TO DO" category. Once I put it on the list, I become combative about following it. 😂
I think that things like calendars and to-do lists are mainly useful if you need to be constantly reminded what needs to happen. Otherwise, it's much more important to actually be able to do what you plan on doing, and preventing any procrastination.
Very Useful videos !🌟🌟
More power to you 👏🌺🌺
Lots of luv from Pakistan 🇵🇰😇🤗
What a great video
Focus on being productive instead of busy.
HAVE GOALS and make all tasks relevant. I get it, just suck at doing it.

I always rely on my memory. I'm a routine guy but I struggle being able to incorporate a calendar into my organization.
I am exactly the same until a few days when I started using Google Calendar (suggested in the video). Its very versatile.
I took around 45 minutes to actually fill out everything I needed to. Line outlining my daily tasks, events, when I go to bed and wake up.
Having a list of long and short term goals to help me build a framework of tasks (called goals in Google calendar) really helped.
Hope this helps, or is at least some food for thought.
I'm the opposite! I have to have a physical planner that I can write in. At the beginning of this year, I wasn't able to get a 2021 planner for the first two weeks of January and I felt like I couldn't focus or get anything done or plan ahead for the month! As soon as I got a planner I felt sane again 😅
I feel the same way. My organizational skills, when properly harnessed are extremely powerful, and so when I can rely on a really well-built and practical system where everything is intuitive, I flourish.
watching this instead of just starting my evening.
Tried calendar for a couple of years, but often forget to look regularly. Or I was in the middle of something else, that couldn't be interrupted during the time slotted.
Finally used clock with alarms. It rings until I answer, and I can snooze until I'm ready and it rings again.
Wish the calendar had the alarm clock's ring-until-answer and snooze ability.
They do. I use iCal and iReminders, and they have alarms that I can set, and even allow me to snooze them. Like you, I need for the reminders to come to ME. Out of sight, out of mind, so as I'm going about my day, it's not only helpful, but NECESSARY, to hear those chimes that signal an event or reminder.
Don't most organizational tools that are calendars or reminder lists equipped with alarms? I'm sure PC, Android and Linux have them, as well.
I hope this works because I am a total wreck right now due to procrastination and lack of productivity.
Whats the difference between system and routines
Routines can become routine
It's easy to be busy, it's more difficult to be productive
Having a simple system can 10x your progress
A little smart work takes away a lot of wasted time
A point On spot ...
Doing this digitally probably isn’t the best idea seeing as how addicted people are to their phones and technology in general. I suggest a planner. Everything you need is in a planner.
Oooooooohhhhh, "**CALENDER**"! And here I am wondering what is so special about 'Canada'....🤷♂️
#calendercalenda #tomatotomatoh 🤷♂️🤷♂️🤣😂
