- This week we watch my stinkpots (aka common musk turtles) chow down on some worms and fish! They prefer takeout rather than dining in front of a camera I learned whilst filming...
Music by BenSound.
That little scene with the turtles fighting over the worm just made my day
Fawn Hughes yeah
mom sheldon wont share
Mhm they are so cute
I love the "or so they think" bit at the end n_n I love when animals cover their faces and think they're hidden hahaha
I kept rewatching the two turtles fighting over the worm 😂😂
Jai same
The captions are the BEST
The fact that the babies are the size of a penny is adorable 🥰
They are so cute. I loved the narratives.
*when their full they burry them self’s under their favorite decoration until their completely out of sight... Or so the think*
*LOLOLOL*
They’re cute 🐢🐢
Can you do a whole video on turtles? Types, feeding, housing, handleable? I’ve wanted one for a while but I’m not sure which one to get being that I travel for work. Thanks in advance! Ps. I know there are videos out there but I just love your channel and how you explain things
I have 2 turtles, both are yellow bellied sliders, and the older if the two is pretty handle able, but I wouldn't recommend it because it may stress them out
The sink pots are so cute.
☺️
That’s my dream turtle! We had one in high school named stinky...he was so adorable and awesome!!! I need one of these guys!
Nom nom nom...I like turtles and turtles like food so I like food LOL

Nice video...beautiful turtle.
Your videos are amazing and they are sooo cute!!!
I want a Stinkpot now. The adorable size that lasts a long time would make it convenient and I'd love to watch them eat.
They are super cute and have such a nice tank to live in.
30 to 50 years!!! You have some long term goals there! Cheers!
😂😂😂 the captions for their "conversations" kill me! Haha! I like to narrate the disputes between my dogs but I rarely film their shenanigans. Not for lack of trying though; they like to stop what they're doing and intentionally turn their faces away/turn their backs to the camera. I did manage a decent video of my American Bulldog when I took him to a playground and he was so excited he just went crazy running up and down a little slide and at that point he didn't care or even realize he was being filmed. 😂 I'm currently looking for a local place to take the big guy to try out some dog agility course obstacles because he's extremely energetic and fearless as they come when it comes to most things. I doubt it's a thing but I was just thinking a tiny "turtle agility course" would be really neat to see. You could set up little rings for them to swim through and for the more "keen" hunters, attaching their prey to a small, remote controlled device (maybe an R.C. submarine) would serve as a good enrichment activity for them...and a little entrainment for their caregivers as well. =P
Hi Snake Discovery! I just found you’re channel a few days ago and now I’m a huge fan of reptiles. I just got a Bearded Dragon for my birthday and I’ve fell in love with it. They are so cool! Thank you for making your very entertaining videos. 😊
these are the most lively turtles Ive ever seen. Very nice ^^
I got a ball python yesterday!!! He is a male butter morph 4/5 years old and absolutely gorgeous thank you so much for all the information! It helped me so much!
Lol when the two turtles were fighting what you wrote was hilarious😭😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
these are really cool I've never heard of them before!
My slider turtle is also very big for his size he's only 2 years old and will not eat anything but vegetables and pellets he also knows a trick I tought him. Good video.😊 My slider turtle is also a yellow belly slider not a red ear.
I have two yellow bellies! My husband's mom got them for our daughter while on vacation in Florida. At first I was mad because I knew I'd have to care for them (even though I knew nothing about that kind of turtle) and buy everything they needed, but now I love them. They're great little pets, too. I have a male and female, so maybe someday I'll have baby turtles.
I love those stinkpots!
I love to watch this channel

Oh I miss the stinkpot that I had, he was so awesome, he had a 40 gallon all to himself, and loved it
I just found your channel and I love it so much. I love reptiles but the only reptile I've ever owned is a bearded dragon. I wish I could have more but they are crazy expensive to care for so your channel is the next best thing
I've always wanted a few of these!!!!!

커먼머스크 거북이가 매우 활발하네요. 커다란 지렁이를 먹는 모습도 인상깊습니다.
omg they are adorable
I once caught one of these bare-handed LOL.
I was fishing and stuck my hand in the water (the water was only a few inches deep) and I felt this hard round thing. It moved, so I naturally grabbed it and pulled it out of the water. It was a little turtle with a smooth brown shell and gray-brown body. Now I see your video, I know that it was a musk turtle. Thank heck it didn't stink on me LOL
SOO CUTE 😍

I want a 3 hour video of them just hunting fish
I liked
My stinkpot love dried shrimps, but never eat any worm I give him.
Can you do a care guide possibly on the stinkpots ?
1:52 FUNNIEST. THING. EVER
A good hint about the feeding fish, look for tilapia hatcheries, I think they should work at the least similarly there and here, here in Brazil they sell "fry" (ranges from 1/2" to 2" IME) at a thousand fish for pretty small prices, I've seen them going for the equivalent of 22 to 55 USD in local currency, and since they are to be raised as human food they are raised pretty clean, also tilapia doesn't have thiaminase, I like to use them quite a lot for big carnivorous fish as food, I usually just put them in a big jar with some ice cubes (and water) and after they die freeze their bodies to last longer while not giving me any hassle of keeping a new fish tankand not worrying about deaths
Thanks for the suggestion! I've been meaning to try tilapia for not only the stinkpots but my garter snakes as well. Your comment was a great reminder!
You're welcome, though I wonder why must I always derp out when commenting... edited it up now so it actually makes more sense now
OMG GURL HOW MANY PETS DO YOU HAVE!
i let my snek boi slither on my laptop and he took me to this video.
Cute
Hey Emily, in case anyone mentions it, I tried going on turtlesandtortoises.com to order some stinkpots and they said no turtles under 4 inches would be sold to individuals as pets. They didn’t explain why, but it has to be for educational purposes, or something similar. I like the shape of the stinkpots, that’s why I wanted them. Oh well, I think my niece can get them for me. Pat
Ouch! It must hurt the worm to be bitten but still alive!
Just an Awkward Potato It’s a worm. They might not even feel pain.
Sam George They actually do feel pain , because they have nerves and a brain mass just as humans do . But , this sort of thing would happen in the wild aswell , possibly more brutal , so this sort of thing isn’t really ‘cruel’ .
Are stock tubs a good option for turtles such as pink belly sidnecks baby's and if so how many could I keep together
