One thing for the nursery I'd highly recommend is getting fitted black out blinds as part of the window treatment. I also wouldn't stress too much about how it's all going to work out now because you won't use it fully until at least 6 months and by then things change soooo much.
I have a girl and we use a wardrobe a lot for dresses now she's a toddler.
You are the most genuine and nicest couple who are going to make the best parents a baby could wish for, lucky baby! x

Honestly this nursery will be perfect, we have a 15 month old and pretty much only use her bedroom for changing diapers and sleep. You’ll want to have the play area in the common spaces that you hang out in during the day. So baby really just needs a comfortable and safe place to sleep and some storage for you for clothes etc 🥰 it will be perfect until baby is ready for a bigger room
Renovations, baby stuff, shopping, I am here for all of it! The love that you have for each other and share with us is why I know you are going to be wonderful parents. I love how you are really embracing the journey. Congratulations again ❤

Its SO lovely knowing a baby is on the way!! I did IVF and did acupuncture too and very healthy eating 3 months before. We renovated all through my twins infancy, they slept a lot even if it was in smaller intervalls so that helped but even when they turned one they napped for 3 hours in the day (and still do at 2.5yo) so I got things done in those hours.That is of course so individual with kids but mine like to sleep lol. In hind sight though I wish I would have listened to the good advice 'sleep when baby sleeps'. I was so overly tired, and a little speeded from new mom stress of having the two of them so I just rushed around as soon as they slept but its so much more important to be rested and save energy for those many long nights you will be nursing.
So pleased for you both. It's hard when you go through a miscarriage. I had two and was put on baby aspirin for the second baby, who is now 19 yrs and 6ft 2 😅

I'm watching this while my 5 month old naps on me. To anyone able to get ANYTHING done- you are superheroes. Took me a week just to find time to cut a watermelon. Baby wants to be held 24/7. And I have short arms so baby wearing can only do so much!

Here for the reno and the baby video's! We were renovating whilst I was pregnant last year and it felt good to get things done. Wish we took some more time together when it was just the 2 of us but time went by so fast! Was laying down laminate flooring at 38 weeks (I still felt great at the end thankfully) and the nesting phase gives you more drive and energy than ever before haha.
I think we can all say that we are so so happy for you ....this was the video we were waiting for .....and i know you still have lots of reno work , but it will get done when it gets done ....family first . I just know your little family unit of 4 are going to be so happy ❤

@@mkp8942 Yes he is, but nowadays the consept of pet is not only as guardian or hunting or herding dog. They are the members of the family. Technically of course the dog can't be considered as older sibling, but it feels lile it
Congratulations ! Our boy came 2 weeks early in November last year and we had to stop a lot of the DIY that we had planned after 7 months pregnant because I was so tired in the evenings and we used the last few weekends to enjoy being just 2. We only finished fixing his wardrobe doors a couple of months ago so don’t worry if it’s not all perfect for your little one. Best wishes for the second half of your pregnancy !

Congratulations!! You deserve this wonderful miracle. I have 2 little girls and suffered from unexplained infertility for 4 years. It was heartbreaking. My advice for the nursery is to skip the chair for now. The first few months, baby will be in your room and honestly you don't know how a room transition will work later on. I would just wait to see your circumstances after 6 of 8 months. I've got both my girls in the bed beside me right now almost, 7 years on. ❤

We broke ground on a two floor addition when I had a one-year-old. We did a lot of the work ourselves and it took another year for it to be completed. You can still do everything you planned with a bit of flexibility. Congratualtions again!!! Enjoy this trimester and be well.
Firstly, huge congratulations to you both!! Such an exciting time. Secondly, don't stress too much about having the nursery perfect for baby coming. I know nesting will take over but baby will be in your bedroom with you for the first 6 months if not longer. So as nice as it is to have a nursery. It's not the end of the world if its not complete by January xxx

How about upcycling a vintage Stag gentleman’s wardrobe, drawers one side & hanging rail on the other. They paint so well to match any room instead of a tall wardrobe. Good luck with your decorating.
