I respect the way you give each project your entire self. You never "halfway" anything! That's the mark of a true professional. You are mature enough to give every piece your whole attention and talented enough to allow yourself and all your playfulness with color and texture to elevate each piece from what could be an ordinary painted piece of furniture to stunning pieces of art that will become heirlooms in people's homes for generations!
Hi, Lady....been busy having my sister living with me for 6 months while her condo is being gutted and put back together. We bought several pieces from thrift shops or on Market Place. All the big items have been selected: couch, flooring, kitchen & bathroom cabinets, curtains, a table & 4 chairs, wall artwork, side table, lamp and the wall paint.
Love how you share your knowledge. Thank u for helping me learn. I paint furniture also from home. Have been an at home mom to 2 daughters 9 and 2 year old for 2 years. Since the world has been in chaos I have been keeping myself sane by watching your videos and my furniture creativity. So thank u.
You are so welcome! I have a 4 and 8 year old so I completely understand!! I am so glad I could help keep you sane!! This year has certainly been a wild ride!
Every piece of furniture you touch becomes a little master piece. No matter how simple or sophisticated it is, it always turns out gorgeous. I wish I was so talented!!! Thanks for sharing your knowledge.
What a charming little piece. Looking over your shoulder it seemed much better. Mind gymnastics that it was small. Love it. Your projects are inspiring. I have three projects under way. I wonder if……. I wish I could go back in time with this knowledge so I could have done this too when I was on active duty. Admire your “eye”. Real furniture is a given over in Europe. Great work for your travels. Wise woman indeed! You go woman!
I was taught to sand with the grain, yet have seen many videos where people have been using circular sanders. I think I have very sander but a circular sander. As well as sounding Canadian, you also sound like a teacher. Fascinating video, really appreciated the tips on shading etc
I had never thought you would go for such dark colors, but it’s amazing the difference white wax does, it softens the look so much! As always, such great work!
Wow! Thanks for the great video! Your pieces are so beautiful and your instructions so clear. I appreciate you sharing your passion!!! I will keep watching and learning. 🙂
Hi Cry’s Dawna. I always try to watch you blend, because that is what I am trying to learn. I ‘ll feel much better when I get it down. You blend very nicely.

Blended great. Gorgeous piece. This video will help me blend my table that I just did. I thought I had to use glaze to blend, but now I see that I don’t😊. Thank you!
I used to cringe when I thought about covering wood with paint but that was before I discovered your work... You have exquisite tast and I thank you for your relaxing and satisfying videos!
I really love the way you teach this to us... In fact out of all the videos I've watched to learn this particular way of painting, I personally like and understand you the most, and so I just wanted to tell you that as well as thank you.
Love your T-Spring Bella Renova branded stuff! Once I can stop buying paint I'm going to buy something. You're the best teacher, thanks as always. Have a great weekend.
I live in Phoenix Az, (my uncle lives in Germany, military transplant from over 3 decades...) ... anyway... Phoenix has wicked bad heat. With very little humidity. It has been over 100 (roughly 38 degress Celsius by 8am. I have had to adjust to "damp"..(sometimes more than damp...) brush.. with additional misting... to be able to blend.. but I also have this issue with paint with acrylics... Do you have a good amount of humidity... I ask because where ever my uncle lives.... there is lots of water... rivers and such... and green trees.

I have that exact piece! I bought it at an auction of European antiques. I want to use it as a nightstand. I’m so excited, you gave me all the information I need to make it beautiful. I love your creativity! You did the top exactly the way I wanted to do my top but just couldn’t figure out how. Thank you☺️
Yay... You loaded it up... So amazing.. Thanks again.. I've been struggling with white wax on raw wood.. Now I know I Havnt put near enough on that's why it always looks streaky!!! 😉 😉
Also had a question, even after a piece has been completed and a year later you want to add maybe another dimension to the color, some dark wax, etc., (realize you have to consider what is the top coat of the piece.) What do you suggest, I like the paint color but just need more. Thanks!
Love your blending technique! You’re an excellent teacher and do a great job of explaining as you go along! Thank you so much for your willingness to share your creativity and techniques with us!!🙏🏻❤️
Love this neutral piece. I have some of the gemstone mousse and love it. Never thought about using white wax for a whitewashed effect. That's a great idea. Thanks again for another great video.
Wouldn't you have to wipe down the entire piece again after you sanded the top? I would have thought it would have been less work to sand the top first before painting and blending the rest of the piece. Can you please comment on that? By the way, that piece turned out beautifully and I loved what you did with the hardware at the end. It really complimented the piece.
Hey from Delaware! Love the color blending with those colors....,Beautiful! Great Entry piece....your client will love it! Quick question....bc wax tends to be pricey for large projects.....what are your thoughts on white washes to achieve that look? Love your videos❣️ You are an amazing artist and teacher🤩 Thank you for sharing😊k
O yes you can definitely do that as well!! Water down a little white paint and whitewash the piece, put the "wash" on and wipe away :) Thank you so so much, you are so good to me :)
Fantastic! I was curious about white wax and you did a great job demonstrating how to use it and the look(s) that can be achieved with this product. Thank you for providing this content. Definitely intend on trying this since I love Scandinavian design. Btw, I am a new subscriber and will have to check out your other videos. Be well.

Thanks...great vids to learn techniques! On that note, I'm hoping I can do this on a faux leather couch ...has a 'blotchy' light / dark grey color (not wax but paint). Won't be using wax but it looks like I could get away with blending 2 shades of grey. Thoughts? As a side note, I came across some info that with wax you have to re-wax down the road. Is that right?
I like that idea of blending the colors!!! Yes so with wax you will need to reapply later down the road IF you use it as a protection, if you are using git just as a shading or whitewash you don't need to. With DB you can actually clear coat OVER their wax as well. It used to be wax is last but they have created a proprietary blend with their wax and clear coats that allows you to interchange them. You probably wouldn't want to clear coat over your couch but you can do it for other stuff :) (remember that clear coating over wax is only with DB products, you still can't clear coat over an oil based wax :)
@@BellaRenovare Thanks for the clarity. I do have a couple pieces of furniture that'll get painted so good to know about the wax do's and don'ts ...and thank you for the quick reply!
