I like your format. I don’t like a lot of blah blah blah. I like how you’re showing the process and narrating what you’re doing instead of stopping to talk as we watch. I don’t have much patience for extraneous chatter. This is so lovely and I hope to do this soon. Thank you 🙏🏽
I cannot tell you thank you enough for all of your tutorials! I have finally broken the blending barrier and developed some confidence in my ability to blend by watching your tutorials! I finally finished my first piece that I am actually very pleased with the final blend result! THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!
@@BellaRenovare Thank you! I have watched many blending videos but yours was the one that really stuck with me and made the most sense to me. I am a visual learner and you are an excellent teacher!!! Thank you so much!
You’re so right!!! I love how well she teaches by doing, I’ve watched a million but thanks to Crys’Dawn I’m finally starting my first piece. Her videos somehow clicked when others just felt confusing!
You are hands down the BEST teacher and so gifted. I learned so much from you, thank you so much. Your gossip bench came out beautiful. Also, your fur baby is too cute.
Honestly the more I watch your work, the more I think you should open a gallery. I do Egyptian folk art furniture and completely fall in love with your work with every video I watch. Thank you!
I love this piece! I have something similar that I chalk painted white and distressed a few years ago. Time for a make over me thinks !. Your dog so reminds me of my puggle I lost a year ago. Made me miss him. Thank you for including him/her.
I’ve watched a zillion other people doing these pieces and I think I like you the best! You’re incredibly informative, from picking colors to using different materials- I love your style and your perspective and personality. Also love your furry co-star! Thanks to your videos I have started my first piece!!
THANK YOU for this incredibly informative tutorial. Choosing color combinations is my greatest challenge. I neither have the talent nor the confidence when doing so. THIS video is invaluable.
I'm so THANKFUL I seen this. I am working on a 1950's cabinet I found for free. I did a coral & them my mind went to blues & my design choice is a beautiful peacock BUT I've not found a transfer in the size I need. Also using French latter stamp & flowers it's all in my head it's just bringing it to life. I'm going to look into your paints & I LOVE those accent pieces you use. MAGICAL 🥰
I recently moved into a new house and am using the warm colors pulled from our surrounding salt marshes for our color scheme…. I have really wanted to incorporate pops of orange/rust throughout the house but never saw any orange painted furniture ideas that were appealing. THANKS for the inspiration!!
@@BellaRenovare Dixie Belle on chair, Waverly on Dresser, both newly purchased just to see which paint I liked working with bc pricing is very different. Sadly both chipped. I sanded down the first coat of top of dresser and then applied primer to see if paint chipped. Then same steps with chair-sanded, primer, then another coat. No chipping. I don’t know what I did wrong!
That’s really strange, it takes 30 days for it to fully cure and harden I have painted hundreds of pieces and never had chipping. Did you clean your piece also? Even if you sand sometimes there can be oils from our hands or dirt from the years that create a resist in the piece so always clean and then sand.
I love this one. I want one in my entryway. My husband would use that seat all the time to put is shoes on and the little drawer is perfect to hold keys 🔑. I will be on the lookout for one her in CA.
I absolutely love your channel. Every time I watch a new video it becomes my favorite. 20 years ago I went on a NO white walls campaign. My son likes the Mets so we did diagonal half the wall did one side orange and the other side dark blue. We even did the ceiling. The on the big wall we put the Mets logo...ie New York skyline. My hallway glowed when had his light on at night from the orange
AMAZING sweetie. ..you Are Such a great patient teacher. .and I Love how you take ur precious time and slowly Show and teach us to Step outside our Comfort zone and Be creative ....you Teach So many Techniques and I Know I appreciate you....Thank you Ur Amazing! Stay blessed 😊🎨🖌️❣️❣️🐾🐾
What an awesome job you did transforming this little gem. I love that you are not afraid to work with lots of color. I get so tired of white, beige and brown stuff. Great job. 🤗🤗🤗
I appreciate that you are fearless when it comes to color. Color intimidates me, but I love it when I see pieces like the one you’ve done in this video. Thanks for inspiring me to “dip my toes” in the COLOR pool. Thank you again. You are a wonderful teacher.
Unbelievably beautiful! You are so creative! The metallic addition was such a plus and to watch you mix the 3 different colors together to get that wonderful new color.
I could kick myself for buying so much furniture and selling it, now that I'm into painting furniture 🙄 I love the colors you chose ...this was a great size and style for it 😊
Crys'Dawna, you are such an awesome teacher! Thank you for another great video. I struggle with choosing colors for my pieces, mostly because I'm "Beige Becky" when it comes to doing stuff for sale (I do a little flipping). If I can JUST get past that "everyone has a place for a neutral piece" mentality, I will be much better off. I am going to try to use color on a sewing machine cabinet that I am going to repurpose into something else. I love the color Antebellum, so that's what I've picked. I'm ordering my color wheel right now and will use it to figure out what else I want to do. The desk I did that was inspired by your Aurora Borealis video was a HUGE hit. It went to a little girl who is in love with all things related to space and as a "middle child" she'd never really had anything of her own that wasn't a hand-me-down from her older sister. It turned out so great and I couldn't have done it without your inspiration. Thank you for sharing your knowledge!
cute❤ and fun. such a helpful tutorial on both painting techniques and the color wheel. No art training here so the lesson on that color wheel (which I ordered off your link-😊) was awesome for me.
Amazing transformation as always Crys'Dawna! Adding the texture and layering the colors gave this piece it's voice and now it can be heard. Loving the amethyst wax! Looks like an old antique from a Caribbean Estate! Have a great weekend!
I love the color wheel, I've never been able to "get it" with the standard wheels, I always get confused. Thank you - it is such a fun piece, makes me smile.
Hello from Australia👋 I love what you've done to this piece. I also love colour so l really enjoy watching you create magic with all the different colours you use👌 I definitely will use the techniques from this creation.. Love your work👍 Regards, Dita
This looks like the 60’s and a mermaid got together and had a gypsy baby💜❤️💙So fun and whimsical.
hahaha I love that!!
Beautiful beautiful beautiful! It turned out phenomenal, stunning, GORGEOUS!
As someone who’s not normally a fan of ornate or texture I absolutely love this piece and would proudly display this in my home.

I was gonna say that too👍
