Ok- this piece brought me to tears. I cannot decide if it is a sunset in a garden or a re-imagining of Monet's garden. I love how you include the wrong turns. This is a journey and sometimes there are wrong turns in the journey. This is simply beautiful.

YES! I love this piece! These colors speak to my heart as well. Thank you for sharing your struggles with this piece. I don’t feel guilty now for taking a step back from my project. I am not happy with my first layer of colors either, so I practiced on a small raw wooden box from the Dollar Tree. I actually mixed some Dixie Bell and DIY together to get 2 colors which I added to the original colors and blended them. I even sealed them with different top coats to see which one I preferred. Now I can safely move on. By the way, this is my first time ever trying artistic furniture painting! Thank you for inspiring me to give it a try! 😁
