Loved the video. When my wife and I watch videos by other furniture restorers, we cant help but notice that a lot of restorers appear to sand their pieces cosmetically; purely for the sake of the video. You go to great lengths to do things right, we love it. Thank you.
It's like you read my mind. I worked on a whitewash piece this week and I am very pleased with how it came out. I am sure looking for to watching this!
I have a project I have been researching how to do properly and turned to youtube, out of all the furniture restoration channels your videos are top notch. You explain each step, why you’re doing/not doing something, give different products and your experience with each… not to mention the great sound quality and efficiency of information over doing unnecessary shots. I’ve started watching many videos of yours since just to keep learning! Thank you for your hard work you’re great at it!
Have admired your work for awhile now, you're very talented! Youre teaching skills are off the chart! I feel like we were in the same head space- just getting ready to do a piece much like the one you did here. You are awesome. Thank you for sharing 🤗
Sherry here: Angie, that is a gorgeous dresser! You do such amazing work. We have a dining room table up for refinishing and I have been going back and forth between a wash and a stain. This helps with that decision. Thank you!
Wow, awesome save Angie- she floats now :) I've been curious about Pickled Oak-thank you. One of these times, I'm going to do a lightened wood tone... just as soon as I don't fall in love with the natural wood colour after I sand hahaha
You create the most delicious eye candy out of your rescues. Thank you for the very clear instructions, it makes me want to tackle my '70s China cabinet... 🤩😍❤
Wow unbelievable what you can do with the furniture you find. I’m doing some now, but your transformations are stunning. Some day maybe I will come around to your level.
I’m so glad I watched this. I have some furniture I want to lighten and I wasn’t sure which technique to use. Thanks for the help! Beautiful job as always!
Thank you so much for this and all the additional info at the end. This format is perfect, visual and some factual bullet points at the end. Top score!
Bonjour Angie! Always so impressed with your work, thank you for all the info you are giving us. Just perfect little dresser! Have a wonderful day! Christine
Ha excellent. My wife and I were at Menards last night looking at all the paint and gadgets and this subject came up. Theresa my wife, wanted to know what it means to white wash and I couldn't tell her. My guess is watered down paint but I will watch and see..... I did also see that pickeld stain and didn't remeber that being around years ago when I messed with a wood shop. Loooking forward to the video and seeing the difference.
Angie, you are my fav furniture refurbisher. Makes me want to get into woodwork 🙃 your love of wood is contageous... keep up the good work, thank you for lovely videos, they are both entertaining and educational

Thanks SO much for this … I have a lovely solid ash dresser that I want to use in my new, very modern kitchen but it’s too orange! I’ve bleached it and it’s a little less orange but still too orange. With your video, I now know which product to use to give it the look I want. Such an informative video!
