A wonderful rescue story but, now the bear will seek out humans and will likely be put down by cops when some Karen calls 911 because there's a bear in her yard! This will turn out to be a worse tragedy unless she is kept in a sanctuary. What were they thinking? I love animals but she's going to die by cop now damnit!
You could not possibly have a worse outlook. New Mexico was blessed with abundant rainfall and there will be adequate food sources. She may do well but she will be free. Life offers no guarantees except the certainty of death. Be of good cheer!
