One excellent example of some price gouging is the Kauai CVS/Longs Drugs store. The prices at their Kukuiuula ( Poipu) location are VASTLY higher from ALL their other locations. I wont deny that there is some greed going on, there is....BUT the current administration ran on the promise of destroying the fossil fuel industy to replace it with "greener" energy.
Fuel and energy costs are up and that trickles down the cost of every single item that is produced and transported.
If it cost more to grow, farm, fertilize, harvest, transport, stock the product on the shelves then it will reflect in the cost. So something like a grain in the field will then change the cost of every item that grain goes into (bread, cereal, baking mixes, etc) and that is just ONE item.
Corporate greed is a thing and it does happen BUT we cannot ignore the Donkey in the room. Corporate greed is a place to be angry and take our attention of the fact that we are under attack in various ways....but hey, at least this administration is doing exactly what they promised to do 👍
And before a person tells me that the president doesnt decide the gas prices, I know this. But their polices do effect it and if they cant change much with the fuel industy then why the mumbo jumbo of promising their voters that they will end it? Leave it alone then if they have no effect on it.

“The purple gooo” is taro flavored I believe, but they get all kine flavors, or plain.
It’s called Molokai Hot Bread, you can get it on Molokai, in Kaunakakai, early in the morning, just walk down the dark lane/alley everyone else is walking down😁.
If you don’t live on Molokai they have a food truck that goes around O’ahu… I don’t think they have food trucks on any other islands, not sure though.
They get one Instagram, try follow them over there, ask for Kana, he’s the guy in this video.

Time to use a bread machine and make their own bread loaves. The machine will pay for itself in less than a year.

Communism doesnt seem like such a bad idea right now. Late stage capitalism is how you get $13 for a loaf of bread. How much USD do you think a loaf of bread costs in red China?

Most things you need the actual app for, not just the membership card. I saw creamer was on sale and grabbed my alloted 2, got up to the register, punched in my phone number and was still charged regular price because I don't use the app. The thing was, app info was in very small print and are on white tags, not yellow. There were no white tags. When I went back, the white tags were there. Do they expect people to climb into the coolers to be able to read the fine print? Ridiculous!

Price gouging across the board. From shippers to middleman to store to consumer.
THERE should be caps on food items and profit margins.

By the way, why weren't these evil people doing their price gouging when Donald Trump was president?
That guy had gas down to $2 a gallon.
