    Jack your style of teaching is clear and thorough. That's why I subscribe to your channel. Keep up the excellent content!
    I especially like that you spell the words in Thai, which is helping me with Thai reading lessons--and you highlight the words on the screen as you say them! Many thanks.

    the way I view the translation of gaw would be 'an indifferent shrug of shoulders', which is rather universal. and though nonspecific, is generally understood.

    Hello kru jack this was good
    Could you help me please
    Lunch = A Harn Klang Wan or Kao Teang
    Which one is more colloquial used by Thai’s in everyday
    For
    School lunch….?

    • @jackdidodo
      @jackdidodo Год назад +2

      aahaan glaang wan is a formal term for lunch.
      Kaao teang and kaao glaang wan = spoken language that Thais usually use. I use it every day when I go for lunch with my family and friends, and I also use it with my Thai students in the school.
      But depends on closeness and situation as well.

    Kru jack
    In Thailand is English hard for children to learn due to the spoken or written grammar rules ….?

    • @IgetThais
      @IgetThais  Год назад +2

      Yes, it is difficult for Thai students to learn English. Many problems cause Thai students to struggle to learn English. Being too strict about grammar rules is one of the problems. Another point I see is that they don't feel the need to learn English. Because when they are outside of the classroom, they speak Thai with friends and parents. It is challenging to encourage them to use English in and out of school.
