    What about the words: lay, put, leave in Thai?
    For example, I put things in the closet and I don’t put sugar in my tea, the difference between them 🥺
    I can't find a lesson on this topic anywhere

    • @IgetThais
      @IgetThais  Год назад +1

      อยาก = want but you want to ? Want to eat อยากกิน If you want something you say อยากได้ + the thing. ผมอยากได้น้ำ I want some water. I want this one = ผมอยากได้อันนี้ อัน is a noun classifier of things so อันนี้ = this thing or this one

    and also nee3 ngai2 or nee3 ngai1 for over here? why the ngai no symbol over the top of ngai? should be falling tone right?

    • @IgetThais
      @IgetThais  11 месяцев назад

      ไง(ngai) has a flat tone it cannot make a low tone or a falling tone. This is why it does not require a diacritic mark.

    I am so confused by the word อะไร à-rai. When i watch your video, sometimes u pronounced as à-rai, in this video you a-rài. is it à-rai or a-rài? non3 kue1 a1 rai2 or non3 kue2 a2 rai1?

    • @IgetThais
      @IgetThais  11 месяцев назад

      I tend to say "อะไร" (à-rai) because อะ is made up of อ and a short vowel ะ = อะ(à) it makes a low tone. Even when I say the sounds "อะ" and ไร together rapidly, the อะ portion still maintains a low tone. The อะ sound cannot become a flat tone, which means it can only be in a low tone. The exception is when the vowel in อะ changes to -า, then it becomes a flat tone and turns into อาไร (aa-rai) with no specific meaning. The sound of อา(aa) is longer than อะ (à). Moreover, ไร(rai) only creates a flat tone and cannot be in a low tone. Additionally, ไร (rai) and ไหร่(rài) have distinct sounds and tones like you say เท่าไหร่(tâo-rài), which means how much. So, as you heard, I pronounce อะไร(à-rai). I believe I sometimes say it slowly or quickly.

      How about ผลไม้, fruits. Po la mai? We should say it po2 la2 mai4? Po2 la2 mai5? To make it clear, i am using the 5 tonal sound of 1st flat, 2nd low, 3rd falling, 4th high, 5th rising. So if according to the app i am using it put the symbol of po4 la5 mai5, but when comes ro pronouciation it becomes po2 la2 mai5. So i confused also
