I really hate replanting. My corn is all up. Last planted beans are up. If miss the rain Sunday I think I can be down to 20A of beans to plant that water has been standing on…to proud to take prevent yet but I’ll be down to the day I’d say trying to get it planted.
i couldn't even mow the yard after the last rain. There was standing water in every dip & depression on my lawn & the ground just squished when you walked across it. There hasn't been any field work around me since the 19th of May. We have 260 acres of beans left to plant & I don't know when we will get back in the field. It will be a while though. The ground here is absolutely saturated now. We need some dry weather for a change.
It's no fun when it just won't quit. We are still wet but not as saturated as we have been. Need a good hot and dry 2 weeks to get everything wrapped up
the all-nighter you pulled in the video...not quite the same as it was in college. Glad you're able to get things done; I had to replant some soybeans recently....time will how they come out. On a side-note...ya know you're a fussy guy when you keep a can of glass cleaner in the cup holder of every tractor!!
Lol probably wasn't much stress on the college nights. I've lost track how much corn I've replanted but so far the beans have a good stand. I hate dirty windows lol
I have mowed more grass this year than we have mowed in years, lol. Hay has been ready to cut for 2 weeks, just not long enough between rain to cut.
I think you can mow yards about every 4 days. I'm afraid to mow hay this year. When it rains it just flat out dumps
We had one of those last night. 2¼ in less than an hour. Flooding everywhere. That is the 1st one of those I've seen for a while.

Sure makes life easier playing musical tractors. Jump from seat to seat and just hammer down.

You should do a live at like 3:30 in the morning out in the field and see who's awake.
Yeah I never thought of it. Probably help during those sleepy moments lol
To be young again and work that late 🤦♂️ I can’t do it anymore. And I can’t believe you get stressed 😂
Oh to be young again....I would like to be young again, but I would want to know everything I know now and go back 40 years
But I am in a better place now.
@@onehappyfarmer3461 oh me too just like our buddy Dufus Ag
I was gonna say young=poor=motivated (stressed) lol
@@iafarmer 😂
Ya it’s been somthin this year hope you didn’t get too much these last couple days, I think at this point I’m not replanting anymore
Some we have lucked out and things are looking better, a couple fields had over 2.5 inches tonight though
