    Seeing you grow your farm over these last years has been really cool to watch. I’m glad you’ve had all the success you’ve had! Hoping for a great year for you and every other farmer!

    Looking great AJ! Glad to see things working out well for you; it's certainly apparent watching your videos and seeing the hard work & money you put into having things right. However, for guys our size, it's the only way I can see us surviving bc the equipment manufacturers have left us in the dust when the avg. price of any new piece of farm equipment is approaching 1/4 of million $ & tractors 1/2 million $ & combines 1 million $.

    • @iafarmer
      @iafarmer  6 месяцев назад +2

      Yeah im pretty good at making money disappear lol but i think ive done ok at getting the best bang for the buck. Like you, im sure, id love to buy new and not have to deal with the mess and expense of fixing things up but id never make any money if all i was doing was making iron payments. I saw a picture of an old 55 combine next to an x9 and the caption said one helped pay for the farm and the other one needs the farm to pay for it

    I was really curious how the new wider field cultivator would do on the 9200. The new shovels probably add to the pull too. Great watching this update!

      It pulled it, but after getting used to having more hp ive found the need for speed lol

    That 42-footer looked good behind it. Definitely got a lot of iron there. Waiting for my new to 24ft field cultivator to show up, hoping tomorrow.

      @@iafarmer Caseih 4800 Vibra-shank, basically got it given to me by a friend who no longer needs it. It is like new, almost too nice for me. That has me looking at buying another tractor now lol. Better than the old 3pt Glencoe 18 footer

    Really enjoyed watching this one. I love tillage work. So...if I understood you right, you have to take the tractor back in again? Something new, or something they didn't fix right?

    • @iafarmer
      @iafarmer  6 месяцев назад +2

      Yeah unfortunately it has a leak where the axle bolts on. I told them i wanted it done this next week, and they told me there's no way they'd get it done. So im gonna try and limp it by and take it over this summer again.

    Dam that dirt looks amazing. I think those 2 will make a great pair. I still can't get over how you make one pass and field is ready to plant.

    • @iafarmer
      @iafarmer  6 месяцев назад +3

      It was working up really nice. You can really screw this ground up if you go when its too wet so drier conditions are best til we get stuff planted

    • @matthewdavis4081
      @matthewdavis4081 6 месяцев назад +2

      @iafarmer here in Central Ohio. You would have to double work every field if you pulled just a field cultivator. We have to pull a double basket with a knock down bar to get our soil to look as good as yours

    I can’t figure out how to save farms/a-b lines on Greenstar. I guess I’ll have to get a kid to show me:

    • @iafarmer
      @iafarmer  6 месяцев назад +2

      Yeah, on this one where the axle bolts to the differential, there is no gasket. You're just supposed to put silicone, and im wondering if the mechanic forgot to put any on the side thats leaking. Hopefully i can limp it through spring as they dont have time to fix it right now

    Can you disengage your atu with that switch in the armrest of your 9200? We just got an atu, still trying to figure things out. Ours did not come with that switch.

    • @iafarmer
      @iafarmer  6 месяцев назад +2

      Yes you can but if i remember correctly you have to push the wheel button on the screen again if you shut the switch off. I just turn the wheel to disengage. If yours fights you too much, you can adjust the amount of force to disengage in the atu setup on your display
