Thanks Ruth...lovely to hear from you and read your great comments...Karen hated that steep ground but got there in the end, her legs were trembling, not a fan of those ultra steep paths...all good fun at the end though...cheers Ruth

Hi guys sorry to hear you have been ill, it's good to get out and get some fresh air. The horses were amazing we have cows near our local canal but never seen either cows or horses in the water. The peeps at the trig top must have smelt your lunch. Loved the moss on the rocks. We could do with a sunny day it's been grey here now for over a week. Looked a great day I would have taken the path 😆. Hope you are both feeling better and having a good week. Oops sorry about use of guys must try to avoid it in future 😆 Best wishes to you both ❤️

Not sure what the horse was doing in the water. It sure looked strange. Some interesting rock formations and a lovely peaceful walk. Even tho the weather was a bit gloomy some great views from up high 🙂

Don't be late he says ...you said that on your last vid and I've been sat here on Mam Tor all week waiting and it's Bloody freezing 😂...let you off cos you've been poorly and poor Karen still sounds full of it...come on Steven, surely you have heard of sea horses, well those are the famous Cumbrian canal horses...love the way each county has their own style of building drystone walls...bet there has been many a sprained ankle over that limestone...great moody filming and music to suit so dank you for another great vid... Cheers Les 🙂👍

Hi Steve & Karen, Holme is where I live! Wish I'd known you were here I'd have come and said hello.
That's a walk I've done many times.. although I think I over did it during Covid 🤔, and haven't been up there since!
Good to see someone else's perspective on familiar ground.
Thanks for sharing, cheers ATB Alistair 👍

Crikey Alistair wish i had known that you lived there, would have been nice to have said hello and shook your hand, it's a lovely village...we have not done any walking around here so loved every step, the Limestone scenery up on Newbiggin crags and Farleton is second to none...cheers pal.

You certainly picked the steep way down!... I bet you got a telling off for walking along that dead end bit of canal!
Hope you're both feeling better, tek care Alistair 👍

@@WainwrightWalksWiaLocalLad Yeah the dead end bit of the canal had me ranting...i had already said goodbye so left it at that...we had to add a bit on to get back to the footpath...oh well you live and learn

Hi Steven! Appears a rather arduous walk for you, and especially Karen. Hope she's doing fine after that?
Here in Minsk as well, somewhat dank and windy these days.
What's the hidden gem on the 14th minute though? Since I can't see what's going on on the screen and no other comments seem to have followed from you, that got me a bit puzzled.
    Mike
