Hi. Yeah, we're still not sure what went on. We can't explain it. There's a place here close by to where I live (in Spain) that is meant to be haunted but I'm waiting to go with someone before I go and film 🤣 Thanks for watching!
This place has been open for a long time. Originally built in around 1845 not sure when the extra bit was built. Was lovely to look out from, although given the weather, not much wildlife around. Thanks for watching :-)
A possible explanation: the spirit doesn't like alcohol being brought to the premises. I say this because I saw a video from 2 other guys (I think from Lancashire) who also brought beer and wine to the bothy and they experienced poltergeist activity. Other videos I've viewed of this location have featured people who didn't bring alcohol and they were not troubled through the night.
Me an a few pals went a couple of years ago. Didn’t have any experiences. I’ve recently asked them about going again soon. But I think I’ll give it a miss. 😢😮

@@whatsnottohike I've watched both versions, and your reactions seem pretty legit. You didn't have a clue what to do with yourself, looked totally unscripted.
@v8cool231 mate, if i could act that well id move to Hollywood! 🙂 After the chair incident, i only went back in that room to pick up some things and slept in the main sleeping room, which was incident free. But it's ok even if you are sceptic, i would be! We're both laughing about it since we came back but at the time, frightening. If it wasn't blowing 60/70mph outside, I'd have cowboy camped with just my sleeping pad and bag.
only thing I can think is you had a fire.. the fire went out. The air in the room was being heated by the fire.. when air is heated .. and is hotter then it takes up more volume or creates more pressure in a confined environment with a fixed volume. In the case of a confined environment of fixed volume that isn't air-tight then air will move from the environment as the pressure builds due to heating.. the reverse is true after heating has been removed. You say the fire just went out... maybe this was the cause. Heating the air inside the room and then cooling it again will creates pressure differences between the outside and inside of the room leading to movement of air between the two.
We just let the fire go out. Hardly call it a fire to be honest, we lit some sticks but soon realised it wasn't actually cold so we just let what was in there burn and not have a fire. I think maybe an hour at the most and It was a wood stove rather than an open fire. But who knows, it was all a bit strange. Thanks for watching.
@@whatsnottohike did a pressure volume and area of door calc and make allowances for air transfer.. according to my calcs if the fire caused a 5c temperature change in the room then the force on the door could be around 30N of force after the fire went out. Thats enough to lift a 3kg weight. Obviously not proven that's what it was though.

Hi. Yeah, we're still not sure what went on. We can't explain it.
There's a place here close by to where I live (in Spain) that is meant to be haunted but I'm waiting to go with someone before I go and film 🤣
Thanks for watching!

I’m subscribing because I love the name of your channel - What’s Not To Hike. Love it. Respeck.
Hi. Thanks! ❤️
7:38 beautiful view. This place is just open? Honour method? You have more honour than we would I fear
It's one possibility.😂
or the ghost wanted the alcohol and was mad you didnt leave it any,.. it is scotland
Me an a few pals went a couple of years ago. Didn’t have any experiences. I’ve recently asked them about going again soon. But I think I’ll give it a miss. 😢😮
@@timcartwright4538 i don't blame ya. However, if there's a few of ya then it's safety in numbers. Can always pitch up outside if its gets bad 🙂 Download the video and you could all watch it in the bothy, give yourselves the frights 🤣🤣🤣
@ haha. Sod that! I’ve watched the other video too it brings a tear to my eye and shivers down my spine. It’s a shame because it’s a great bothy.
Murhahaha Murhahaha Spooky 😅
Lol entertaining guys but totally fake, I use that bothy often & it's ghost free lol but very funny 😂
I wish it was fake! But we knew most people would think it's fake as it's a lot to believe tbh, so fair enough but thanks for watching, appreciate it :-)
@@whatsnottohike I've watched both versions, and your reactions seem pretty legit.
@@joecater894 that wouldnt make a chair kjkeep jumping

Alot of negative comments from the zombies. There are thousands of utube videos of strange unexplainable stuff. Skinwalker ranch for a start. And i had loads of stuff in my last house,as well as loads of paranormal happenings in my exs house. But one particular night i stayed in a very haunted inn,a pub on the A5 near Wolverhampton. I was awakened in the middle of the night by loud banging,i thought it was my brother going to the toilet down the passage way. My door flew open, and i dont mean slowly,i put the light on and there was no one there,my door wasnt locked but it was on the latch,no fires or anything else involved
@@johnpike7444 jeez! That sounds frightening! I dont mind the negative comments, it's to be expected given many of these types of videos are fake. But we've left it as unexplained and maybe one day we'll go back, hopefully when it's not stormy and have a normal night. Thanks for watching 🙂👍🏻
who owns it😊
@@andrewbreslin4445 its managed by the mountain bothy association. I imagine the owner is whoever owns the land. www.mountainbothies.org.uk/bothies/southern-scotland/white-laggan/

While you was outside getting your water there was a lady watching u through the window were u was sat prior I’d say she was quiet small well rounded grey curly hair she looked in her sixties I don’t know who lived there as never been
What!? I can't see that. I'll check again. The history of the bothy is it used to be attached to a bigger house and the bothy is thought to be where the servants lived. Thanks for watching!

@@BrianHart-s2d That's right. I met him when he was over in Spain in the summer so we decided to meet up again when i was in the UK, something we'd been planning a while. His video is very different to mine, he has the moving chair! I wasn't filming at the time that happened. Thanks for watching 👍
@@whatsnottohike nice work!
22:32 like at the church I am the minister at. The first minister died in the pulpit and is a blue and yellow ghost. He still assists. At any rate my one direct encounter left me not afraid. I am afraid of everything btw🤣. There are many many dimensions we are only aware of three. 🇨🇦

@@UKVeteran2024 he hasn't deleted his.
@whatsnottohike it says video unavailable, maybe it's my browser? It's such an amazing video. I've seen millions and they're mainly just rubbish. Would you honestly ever go back there? 2nd question, how much money would it take to spend a night alone there?! 😂
@UKVeteran2024 i just checked from another browser and its definitely working. Not sure I would go back, i was crapping it to be honest, especially the chair moving and i couldn't wait to sleep in the other room, which felt ok. Alone? That would take a LOT of money! 🤣🤣🤣
@@whatsnottohike it truly is an amazing set of videos. Id get in touch with Nukes RUclips channel on here, and make some money from it. It's bloody disturbing! I would 100% not even sleep outside it for a £million! Honestly, I'll stick to a less stressful life 😁

Huh? The chair moving was the same night, literally 10 or 15 minutes after the door slamming. I wasn't filming when the chair was moving, hence why it's not in my video.
