Stop & Shop to close 'underperforming store locations'

There is currently no word on which locations will be impacted by the closures or when they will be happening. Stop & Shop currently has 88 stores in Connecticut.

how about lower your f ing prices. its greed. i see complaints of their prices all the time. the store near me charges 18 dollars a pound for pastrami. whole foods charges 15 dollars for pastrami.

No, cause it’s competitors, like ShopRite, Acme, etc. are WAY more affordable. People would only go to Stop & Shop for a few things, rather than to meet their needs.

They did this to themselves- I look at the price and it is so over prices I say shame on you and put it back -their own darn fault for such greed- they have pork chops on sale and put 2 in a package and put out 5 packages- I want to buy for a family and the other people looking with me- well I let them have them and asked for more- they tell me no more to put out- shameful and this was the second day of that sale!
