How nice to see you flying back in PNG! You really look like you are back in your element and happy! You are an incredibly professional pilot and you are doing such important work for the rural communities there. God bless & safe flights.
Whew! So glad to see you back in PNG. I liked the videos from Arizona too, but PNG is a beautiful country with breathtaking scenery. Good to see NTE again.
So nice to see you back in the saddle Ryan. This is something you were born to do and it really shows. My wife and I pray for your safe travels every day.
Great to see you back in PNG! The pilot flying helicopter NTM sounded like Jeff, who you were training last year. Can you do a video with Jeff and Brad to catch us up on how their first year of flying has been in PNG? Their training videos last year were very educational.
Ryan, love ya work! Great to see you back amongst the rock-filled clouds (My father-in-law flew Beaufighters for the RAAF in New Guinea in WW2 and that was the the guys' term for the Owen Stanleys.) I love - small thing, I'll confess - how you so consistently run your nose wheel right on the centerline and it reminds me of the old story of a BA 747 taxying at JFK. The tower called up, "Speedbird 115, you are a little left of the centerline." The reply was instantaneous. "Good morning. That is correct and my First Officer is a little right of the centerline."
I have followed your channel for a number of years and it is really nice to see you back in Papua Guinea Ryan. I can find interesting and exciting flights. Good luck and hope for three good years!!!
Probably very selfish of us but great to see you back in PNG. Hope you enjoyed time back home with family and pray they’re understanding of the mission and the bigger picture. Keen to see what’s next! 🎉
Laughing at your excellent advice - I don't get to fly anymore except as a passenger on commercial flights, but I remember logging all my controlled collisions with a planet - 😂
It's odd that you'd have to prove your Kodiak skills, after flying for them, so many years, before your short separation time back in the states! Looking forward to your introducing some new material along with the day to day Bush Piloting flights!
Ryan - Very nice to see you back producing the best aviation videos on RUclips. I have followed you career since day one (I am a retired pilot of a variety of aircraft, the last being the Fokker F-27) and have to congratulate you on the safety oriented attitude. I am hopeful that rubs off on new and want to be pilots. Here in Canada, we have just had two CFIT (controlled flight into terrain) in private aircraft resulting in several fatalities. Your explanation of the procedures you follow to descend out of cloud are excellent, and are good lessons for other pilots. I love the videos, their high production value, and the narrative you provide. I’d really like to see you produce one on how you manage your weight and balance from remote locations, where you are carrying coffee/other heavy items, as well as people. Do you carry a scale with you, etc, as I cannot imagine that standard weight and balance weights for males and females apply in PNG. Thank you for considering the suggestion for a new video. Stay safe - blue side up!
yes, we carry a digital scale in our plane at all times. And just since I have returned we have a new W&B app we use, so I'll have to show it in some upcoming videos.
Aha, as im watching Ryan you are answering my questions that I wanted to ask- your checkout process!! I got a flutter of anticipation when this video popped up.Not disappointed!
I have a pair of your sunglasses, think of you each time I put them on. Really looking forward to your new PNG videos. Like how you included before the huge benefits to small remote communities your flights are. The schools being built, first aid stations, hauling coffee beans etc. Thanks for taking the time to post these. BC Canada.
I miss how you used to include the panel video on engine start. Was so nice watching closely the things you were pointing out, like NG and ITT. I love all this regardless.
I am glad for you that you get to do this. I started flying again back in the 90s so that I could fly for Mission aviation fellowship, and when I finally got my commercial ticket I called them and they dropped the bombshell that I also had to have my A&P…… which would take another two years and another $40,000. So I never got to serve the Lord in that way.
Welcome back Ryan. Next time I’m up there will drop by. Missed you last time as you had just returning the US. You flying brings back many memories for me.
Great to see you flying in PNG again. I grew up flying around PNG in the 70s and 80s. Glad that you have the benefit of modern navigation with GPS etc. One of my scariest flying experiences was flying from a Marawaka to Wonenara in a small Cessna and running low on fuel so the pilot had to estimate our location and risk a descent though unbroken cloud cover into Wonenara. Fortunately we we exactly where he thought we were and we were able to land safely. Would love a video I to either of those airstrips if you ever go there.
We've used mechanical checklists on our 727,737,757,767 and MD-80 aircraft at American Airlines since the late 1980's (still use them on 737NG and MAX today), they are a great piece of kit (as the Brits say), and I applaud your use of it in the Kodiak. Great Job, and you set a great safety standard!
Ryan, it's good to see you back in the left hand seat, and even better that your first solo is down the Waghi to Yambaitok, brings back great memories. Welcome back to Goroka to you & your family, stay safe.
Ryan, it's really nice to see you broadcasting again from PNG. May God bless you and your family for your service to the people in the remote communities of PNG! May y'all have a blessed 3 year assignment there helping others, and also enjoying the adventures. I look forward to your videos.
Those of us who know you, Ryan, know this is 'your happy place'. LOVED the home assignment footage with the KitFox - assume you got it sold. But this is your love/your ministry... I SO get it. I was privileged to be able to work in ministry for 25 years as my main job (non missionary) and it can be so rewarding. Love the new 'vibe' of the videos too. I know you take a lot of time with editing and the drone footage is amazing to have too. Keep up the great work! And welcome back to 'the field'!! Godspeed, brother!
How nice to see you flying back in PNG! You really look like you are back in your element and happy! You are an incredibly professional pilot and you are doing such important work for the rural communities there. God bless & safe flights.

Great to see you back in PNG!
The pilot flying helicopter NTM sounded like Jeff, who you were training last year.
Can you do a video with Jeff and Brad to catch us up on how their first year of flying has been in PNG?
Their training videos last year were very educational.
actually it was a new pilot. Brad is flying here, but Jeff is no longer flying with us
A hearty welcome back, Ryan.
I never get tired of that momentary thrill of when I turn onto the runway then push in full power for takeoff.
We are happy to see you again.,., remember to inbox me your WhatsApp again.,I changed my phone.
Ryan, your video editing and music integration are professional-grade. Thanks for the great work--you keep my attention.
I hope you enjoy being back in PNG as much as I enjoy your videos! Thank you.

Hey Ryan. I spent 5 months in PNG/LAE and ENB. Thanks for your videos. It really helped me setting in. I love PNG. Hope to be back some day.

Sounds like it’s fun saying, “Yembi Yembi.” 😁😁
Enjoyed the Kitfox videos. Good to you flying in PNG again.
Ryan, nice to see you back in PNG!!
WELCOME BACK! "Love" watching your flying videos. Former Certified Pilot here. I miss it terribly!!!
Let's Go!!! I was just asking yesterday when we would get the first return video!!! Happy Sunday everyone.🎉🎉🎉
It's odd that you'd have to prove your Kodiak skills, after flying for them, so many years, before your short separation time back in the states! Looking forward to your introducing some new material along with the day to day Bush Piloting flights!
It's because we are a part 135 operation, we have to legally do a certain amount of flight checks before being legal to fly again with passengers
We missed you. I was telling my wife about your missions. Sweet flying and happy landings from the Philippines 💞
Thank you, Ryan, for showing us some green.
Nice landing. .
Good to see you haven't lost your touch. .lol

How good does that look with the flowing river right next to the airstrip.
Great landing there Ryan.
Really missed your flights in png.....good luck with your return
Typical, the weather Gods decide to make life just that bit more tricky than usual, well done Ryan, really calm and professional.
Great! I love watching IMC flying btw, and I used to love flying it too. The drone footage is a spectacular finish! Well done.
