    From a manufacturing aspect, India should leapfrog into 3-D manufacturing. India should become a leader in manufacturing 3-D printers of all sizes. There will be a huge demand for easy-to-use and flexible 3-D printers in the future. India should make sure to be a big player in this.

    • @indophile108
      @indophile108 Год назад +4

      @yaswanthmalla2634 - Yes, that's why I used the word "leapfrog". Skip these intermediate technologies and go directly to 3-D printing. Indian engineers are capable of designing and building 3-D printers. I'm over simplifying here, but 3-D printer components include: 1) CNC related input that tells the printer where to place the nozzle, 2) Another input that tells the printer to inject what material and how much and at what rate, 3) How to maintain the state of different injected materials so that they are in a molten state, 4) Velocity of the nozzle, 5) How to make sure the material doesn't freeze on the way to the nozzle, e.g. metal or plastic 6) How to insulate the pipes/hoses that carry the material, 7) Different handling if it's cement 8) Most of the above can be managed using computers, e.g CAD/CNC software. 9) Lot of material science is involved. We (India) can do it. If we sent Chandrayaan-3 to the moon, we can surely accomplish this. I over simplified it, but no doubt there will be lot of issues to figure out and fix, but that's what engineering is all about.
      Disclaimer: I never thought of or looked up 3-D printer components before. I was one of the engineers (at Cisco systems) that helped build the internet, and I know many highly talented Indian engineers in Silicon Valley. If I figured this list of over-simplified components of a 3-D printer (without looking it up) in a few minutes, I'm sure the Indian engineers slated to build 3-D printers will definitely figure it out. JAI HIND.
      Here's an architecture for a 3-D printer I came up with in a few minutes: The product consists of several modules. One small engineering team for each module: 1) Controller module: CAD/CNC/Computer software module as the controller, along with a UI (User Interface) to configure the 3-D printer. 2) Material storage and management module, to maintain the material at the correct viscosity and temperature, etc. 3) Material delivery mechanism module that's in charge of delivery of the material, insulation and maintaining the viscosity, etc. 4) Material injection module that executes rate, velocity, amount of material to be delivered. 5) One central engineering team to design/define and build all interfaces between modules so that modules can communicate with each other. 6) Machine parts design and build team. Each engineering team is in charge of designing and building their module.
      All teams work together as a single team to build a high quality product. There you go. I offered a footprint how to build 3-D printers. It's not as impossible as we may think. JAI HIND.

    "As society becomes more educated, they don't want to have children," is a startling assertion. If you believe that "education" harms the future, you have discovered the underlying cause of the world's and nations' decline: "education."
    My perspective is different: education must be free; it is a fundamental right of every human being to seek and obtain knowledge. To that end, education must be regarded as a "service" rather than a "job" or "source of income." Schools are increasingly becoming income-generating platforms or enterprises.When your education becomes a business, you may make a quick buck, but the country stands to lose "everything" in the long run.
    Remember, a nation's future is not you or me; it is our "unborn" offspring. The nation will cease to exist if we do not have children. Education should liberate a person, not make life a living misery.
    Right now, education is creating "slaves" whose sole aim is to make money while contributing nothing to society.
    I would argue that there is no education taking place right now; instead, a business model of making money by issuing a certificate in the name of education is taking place.

    25:24 but what if the state is corrupt? In my opinion, federalism will only increase the divide among states, thanks to diversity. Also imbalance. Unity is strength. We should not allow each state to work on its own it will end up creating new nations within the country. Take the case of Jammu and Kashmir, West Bengal, Manipur, where have they reached now. Kerala is on the same path. The only way to grow as a nation is by reducing the divide and working collectively. This will create harmony among states also, and a sense of brotherhood among citizens.

If anyone can get to usd50T economy is the Americans. Why? Only the Americans are ruthless enough backed by forever money printing with super government spending and a super army. Nobody else come close. You need that ruthlessness, fiscal exceptionalism and an advanced military to get there. Maybe India can make the first step towards it. He didn't want to admit that India is actually doing amazing building infra. Instead he said it's never enough which is true but credit should be given. Compare India to SE Asia, a city like Bangalore already has more KM of metro than Jakarta, Bangkok, Hanoi, Saigon. Even though ppl complain it's not enough, which true, it should put things in perspective. Only China has build infra faster than India has the last 10 years. Total Metro KM is going to soon surpass US for 2nd biggest in entire world, just 12 years ago there was barely anything outside Delhi. Once the first HSR is close to ready I imagine they will aprove 4-5 other routes. AHB-DELHI is already in land acquisittion stage I think

      We should be striving to create the necessary platform where education is not about loading the child’s mind with information, but about making the child’s mind capable of razor sharp perception, capable of knowing life in its full depth and dimension.
      Education is about expanding the horizons of human experience and becoming inclusive, as only in a state of inclusiveness can the empowerment of education become a bounty all of us may cherish.

It is said he held meetings with Reginald Heber, the then governer of Calcutta and John Malcolm, the then governor of Bombay. There are even writings in which these British officials have praised Swaminarayana and some writings even show that British officials considered him a "superior man" and even gave Swaminarayana land to build a temple. Why would the British praise an Indian sadhu if they were out to destroy Indic culture and why would Swaminarayana cooperate with them? Please clarify. Thank you.

    Building an operating system is not an easy job. Even Apple doesn't have it's own OS; it is technically Linux. Linux is not commercial. It is a miracle and they open-sourced it. But Linux is not as powerful as Microsoft. Linux is just simpler and so certain tasks are quicker in Linux but Microsoft is much more efficient in industrial grade. Microsoft has two advantages which nobody has. First, Microsoft received a lot of investment and technology developed by DARPA from US govt. Second, Microsoft is basically a defense contractor. They started with US department of defense. Then they entered NATO. Then they took over all the public sectors in Western countries. Private sector or businesses also need to collaborate with the governments. So, they also started using Microsoft. So it is such a huge and complex ecosystem that it is almost impossible to beat it.
