    Some group of economists have projected that both the U.S and parts of Europe could slip into a recession for a portion of 2023. A global recession, define as a contraction in annual global per capita income, is more rare because china and emerging markets often grow faster than more developed economies. Essentially the world economy is considered to be in recession if economic growth falls behind population growth.

      @asmirann3636 Год назад +103

      @@abadyr_India is a Civilizational State.
      All the different Kings of India were the same kind of people who dined and married with each other. The people even in earlier times would migrate from one Kingdom to another without any hindrance.
      Internal trade within India was huge. Merchants would travel freely. Kings followed a similar system of administration. Culture was always similar. Innovations, Arts, Music, Stories would travel from one region to another in very short time.
      So till the foreign invasions from Central Asia and then Britain, there might have been multiple kingdoms but the Entity of India existed very prominently since the ancient times.
      Eg. Buddha was born in one Kingdom but spent his whole life in other Kingdoms. He never needed a visa or a permission from anyone to travel to any place he wanted. The same was the case for everyone for almost all of Indian history.
      Therefore, on the surface you may arrive at some conclusion that India was divided but in reality it was never the case. India is a Civilizational State and earlier it had many kingdoms. Now it is a Republic, but still has a Civilizational continuity from ancient and even pre-ancient times.

If the answer is 30% and above, then I will agree with the discussion mentioned about in this video. The problem I saw in the last 20-25 years is many women want work which is more desk jobs and not much analytical or technical. India is more of technology, engineering and analytics.

    India will be the winner in the future. China has a demographic dead end and is loaded with massive debt as is the US. Europe has similar problems especially with an aging population. In a world where growth has been stifled for about a decade, India has been growing at a stellar rate. This is because of internal expansion of the economy fueled by internal consumer growth due to fundamental changes to the internal economy namely GST and removal of internal trade barriers and UPI, and many other IT and Fintech innovations. In a world where the global order is slowing, and foreign trade friction is growing, India with the worlds biggest and youngest demographic is the winner, as its current and sustained growth rate is showing.

  • @ngvkhtnw22
    @ngvkhtnw22 Год назад +42

    Mathematically, it will take India 26.64 years to reach China's GDP today, assuming China would stop growing from now on. Using the future value formula, since China's GDP is 5.3 times that of India today (17.963T vs 3.385T), so for India to grow to 5.3 (FV=5.3), assuming an annual compounded rate of growth of 7% for India (k=7%), given its present value of one (PV=1), the formula is FV=PV(1+k)^N. Take the natural log from both sides, Ln FV = N Ln(1.07), so N= Ln(5.3)/Ln(1.07) = 1.667707/0.067659 = 26.64 years = N. Again, this 26.64-years requirement assumes that China has zero growth and India has 7% annual growth non-stop for 26.64 years. You be the judge! India is a great country, but it has a lot to do to catch up.
