Thewatchestv is also very sophisticated. In fact, overall, I would give Thewatchestv the edge. Despite overt differences in their content and style, they are the two best channels in RUclips horology currently.
@Yanny One I am not affiliated with "that channel" in any way. You are entitled to your opinion no matter how wrong you may be. Thewatchestv IS the best channel in RUclips horology, like it or not!
I sure hope Watchfinder & Co. pays your team a lot. Because if the mainstream ever found you and your storytelling abilities, I'd lose my favorite watch channel forever. As always, extremely well done.
I stumbled upon these videos researching some watches and I truly cannot get enough. The production values, the camera work, the content, how it is presented, the narration, the script; it is all extremely captivating. I have binged most of the videos and they are just a treat to enjoy. Thank you!

Ive always loved watches, ive had a few nice ones in my day. No rolexs or anything like that, but i was always loved how a mechanical Watches works and how they are made. Finding this channel has helped me further my love and education!!!!!!!!!! Thanks for the awesome Content!!!!!!
It has been a pleasure (and also an addiction) to find this account. The narrative, the images and the editing work is superior, almost hypnotizing. Thanks and congratulations for the exceptional work.
Exceptional. Don’t get all levelled up by the sheer weight of the flattering comments from your adoring public, and simply keep producing content like this. Seriously exceptional.
I love the way they display subtle waves in the watches dial as he discusses the way in witch time is distorted or bent as it were. Very clever indeed! Bravo gentlemen!
Excellent video. You lost me a bit on the time dilation aspect. But do someday mention that time units are variable! They used to be: temporal (traditional Japanese), different localized noons for different towns, and agreed upon standards (daylight savings time DST). Bravo to your video team.
Youre the best! You are the reason we know watches in any depth. Everyone on youtube knows 99 % about watches thanks to you. Truly one of a kind and best of the kind! V grateful
This channel has exceptional production values, in particular the macro photography. I would love to see a “behind the scenes” look into how these videos are produced - the cameras, lenses, lighting, motion rigs and so on. And maybe meet the person behind “the voice”.
Okay, I’m about half way through the video. Sadly I’m going to need to watch it a few times. Every time you pass over the Breguet or stop over the dial I lose my train of thought. Such a beautiful watch! I love being able to see the inside of Watches more than a face. The inside is so well made on some of these that it’s a shame to cover it up. This one though is just amazing. I wish I could sketch better. Every wall in my house would have some sort of watch related drawing.
Everybody said it in English, I will do it un Spanish, en serio es uno, si no el mejor, canal de RUclips que existe, lo se que espero con ansias el siguiente capítulo!! De verdad es EXCELENTE!!! Saludos desde Perú 🇵🇪
Love these videos. Informational and the best picture I've seen on a watch video so far. Just amazed by how good it look, and how detailed it is. Great like always!!!
Sir, I don't like to be one of those people who just jump on to band wagon, but when the band sounds so great that one just can't stop one's foot from tapping and then I can't stop myself from starting to hum along and then I realized I'm being educated. Well darn man all else I can say is please keep me up to date on all the great watchs and especially all the great order ones. Thanks again.
You sir are a master at story telling. I watch and re watch these videos. Though I may never afford such a time piece I do appreciate your absolutely wonderful reviews.
Correction: In 1927 the first Oyster traveled across the English Channel around the neck of the famous swimmer Mercedes Glytes, Otherwise, fantastic content and photography!
The absolute best most informative watch channel period!! And a great sense of humour to boot. Thanks for all the hard work and investigation that must go into making all this amazing content,I could and have on several occasions watch them all day. If you ever have time to shoehorn a little segment about Montine of Switzerland I would be extremely grateful. I was left a solid gold day date 25 jewel automatic incabloc from the 60s/70s but can't really find a lot of info on them. Its contains the As cal 2066. Keep up the great work!! Kind regards Jonni
Why is it that in about 99% of all your thumbnail pictures you look like you're about to wind the watch? Is that like your favourite "pose"? I wish I hadn't noticed. But now I cannot unsee it. I love your videos!

I hope that too!
The breguet looks like a old French painting
What a piece of art
Not a watch I'd wear, but damn it's a piece of art.
Agreed
came here for watch review... ended up with an education in physics.

You sir are the (sophisticated) Jeremy Clarkson of watch-reviewing.
I wish I thought of that, nice one, sir
He is far better than Jeremy, more unobtrusive..
Thewatchestv channel is also very sophisticated. In fact, overall, I would give Thewatchestv the edge. Despite overt differences in their content and style, they are the two best channels in RUclips horology currently.
He's much more a Richard Hammond than Clarkson. Clarkson and sophistication are diametrically opposite.
@@katalysis Yes, Richard Hammond is the epitomy of sophistication haha.
History and Relativity. Time plays an important role in both. Well matched.
That Omega Aqua Terra is beautiful..
It is.
Love this! I have gotten to the point to read about watches with your voice on my mind.
"Yeah, we are talking about watch facts, why not throw around some Theory of Relativity." Good Explanation though.
This channel is hard to beat when it comes to knowledge and history of horology. So well written and narrated. I'm a fan.
His sound and the way he talks makes me hope for something magical, something like what really time is, something revolutionary. Incredible work mate.
You just hurt my head, I'm going to lay down for a nap and wait for you next video.
This was a true joy to watch!!
Thank you for continually producing high quality and interesting videos 😊👍
As someone who's a Swiss citizen, proud wearer of IWC and has a B.S. degree in Physics- I thoroughly enjoyed this video. Kudos!
bullshit degree? jk
This is perhaps the best horology-related series on RUclips, and this video is perhaps the best one yet!!! Thanks!
Your macro-videography is TOP!! : )
I need to watch this again just to take everything you said all in. Absolutely fascinating!
Indeed so. 9 months on from your comment I did just that.

When this creator has a new video out and it hits my feed, I get waaaaaay too excited. Exquisite videography and narration, top notch!

Brilliant dissertation on watch making and the principles applied. Highly recommended.
What a fantastic video.. beyond the content of watches, you are a true scholar of perspective.
One day I'm going to use your time piece conversations. I can feel it.
I was here to learn about watches but end up liking the part about time dilation more then the history of these brands !
Absolutely loving this video. Who would have thought that this video would end up taking about time dilation? Nice.
Excellent 👌🏼 wasn’t expecting half of that at all! Thanks.
I'm watching this at work with subtitles and I'm having issues deciding between reading the CC or just staring at the stunning visuals.
