Your tour was very well done ❤ A side note… my last name is Shipes (plural)… My branch is from Florida… Our Shipes have very blue eyes… Keep up the good work! 😊
Get a piece of black gaffers tape for the bright dometic LED display, doesn't leave any residue and a roll is pretty cheap. Thanks for sharing your build!
Thanks for the rec! I thought about tape but wanted to be able to check in to make sure the fridge was at the right temp (sometimes it is a bit off). Could I peel it off and reapply it? If so I'm adding that to my list for our next trip!
Thank you! It feels really good to be able to not only fit everything but easily access it all now haha That original dresser drawer I bought got so frustrating after awhile!
Hi Arielle..I was wondering what tires you have and if you have a lift? Do you find it difficult to drive without back windows? I’m just about ready to buy my van and start building. His name will be Thibodeaux 😏
11:07 You should get some LightDims. They are like $6 on Amazon for a sheet of stickers, that you can use to either dim or black out all of your LEDs. Best invention ever. LOL. 😊
Arielle, thanks for showing the tea pot, I had a houseboat and I would get up and put an old Coleman coffee pot on and jump back into the bunk and listen to it perk and fill the boat up with coffee smells. I wonder when you made this video, did you have perhaps 1 or 2 cups of caffeine or you always this exuberant!
Truthfully, our mountain bikes are probably the most expensive piece of gear we own and I like being able to lock them up inside and know they are safe. When we had our old van and less expensive bikes we did the bike rack but we knew that we for sure wanted to keep these bikes inside to protect them from theft and the elements. Plus, we can totally fit everything with them inside so it works out ok for us anyways :)
@@ArielleShipe, I have a $1400 one and it rides on a out side rack that locks down the bike. Youd have a better chance of breaking into the vehicle than you would opening the rack. It holds two bikes and mounts to my trailor hitch. They make them that will mount onto the van door. Just make sure it’s mounted on the locking door.
I'm tricking out a Pro Master City Tradesman for my daughter. I had to cut the bed down twice and the sink 3 times so she could fit her mountain bike inside. Apparently the wranglers in Colorado have found it more lucrative to steal bikes instead of cattle. Durangatang
hi from scotland !! how much ???? as it stands ££££££££££ssssss all the van life people never never ever say how much !!!! it really piss me off ha ha ha
$375 for just the windshield cover and $275 for the side doors? We got the front windshield cover from Amazon for $31 and sewed blackout material to it, perfect. We made our own side window coverings with leftover Reflectix and the same blackout material for a measly $10 total.
Arielle, love your van. Excellent video. How did you secure the "dresser" that you added under the bed (so that the whole unit does not tip over)? Thanks. Enjoy ! Enjoy your adventures.
Nice! We are getting our van from Dave & Matt Vans in Jan! Would love to know where you got those perfect baskets in the cabinets, since we’ll have the same ones. Thank you!
I love hiking and tripping and you give me push to discovering my country mountains i live in morrocco ,if you have a tools of hiking that you dont use pleeeease send it to me

@@ArielleShipe Your welcome! Yep, the tape peels off and sticks back on pretty easily so you could check the temp and go back to stealth/sleep mode.
Hell yeah 🙌🏻 thanks so much for the idea! It’ll be great to have a more permanent solution!
Van life’s all about maximizing space! Nicely done!

Arielle Shipe we feel your pain we’ve ditched/upgraded storage things as well. We typically prefer simplicity.
Simple always works better 🙌🏻
I'm digging the kettle. Might have to get one.
Stoked to see you're digging the new storage units! Always great to see you at the workshop. Enjoy the road!

Why don’t you mount a bike hitch on the back. To keep the storage space open.

great video . what is the brand of levels you use .
Great video. Your van is awesome. Do you have a link or product description for the foldable kettle? Looks genius.
Aw thank you! And here's the one I bought on amazon: www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08DQR5ZBQ/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
What brand/style are your pants in this video? They are super cute!

Thank you! I just put a rug under it so it doesn't slide but it's got a wide enough base that it doesn't tip over which is really helpful! :)

So fun!!
I really like your van it’s the perfect get out n about vehicle in a useable compact size.
right? It feels like so much more space than our last van because we can stand up inside and everything but still fits in a regular parking spot :)
@@ArielleShipe do you daily drive it at all ? Or is just a weekend/ vacation vehicle
What does your husband do for work ?
