Good for you for buying that property and slowing the growth of subdivisions. We live in a beautifully wooded area on the Spokane River where a subdivision is going to wipe out the trees and foliage to build 50 small single dwelling homes. We are so sad. This will wipe out our wildlife population that we enjoy so much. God bless for keeping this area rural and beautiful.

Laura and Aaron, hearing your plans for the new property, re: taking arrangements to the hospital and growing food for the food bank, you both are true ANGELS. It was truly a blessing for me to find your channel. Working in my garden has become so therapeutics for me, and has honestly built a lot of confidence in me. I love caretaking my property now and continue to design new nooks and areas to plant. Thank you for sharing your home and life with us!

Loved this recap. Answered some of the problems I’m having now with aphids. Also interested in the brush and stump killer as we are going to be cutting down some old red tip shrubs, now trees planted 45 years ago that are way too close to our house. I love the interaction between you and Aaron and how you just naturally integrate Benjamin and Russell and Cheddar into the videos. Y’all are my favorite family to watch. Love you all.

Omg, for a pond you DEF have to check out Team Aquascape, owned by Greg the Pond Guy. Both of them have channels here on RUclips with a TON of natural pond builds that require no chemicals and minimum maintenance. Their ponds are setup so that it filters the water biologically, using principles learned from actual ecosystems in nature. They do a lot of work with other RUclipsrs, it would be amazing to see them build a pond on you guys' property!

If only Greg (from Aquascape) would let someone else film him and he learned how to wear a mic (and properly mic those he interviews), I might not have unsubscribed from his channel.
They make great ponds but crappy, *CRAPPY* videos on that channel.
No, I mean *REALLY* bad videos.

    Hello from Michigan!
I've never commented on your content until today, but I want you to know that I loooooove your comprehensive recaps and videos! My husband laughs at me because I always refer to you as "my Laura" when I share something with him that I've learned from you or something I want to use/ change/ etc. in our gardens. Your passion is contagious and soothing. Your the only channel I watch on the "normal" playing speed. All the others I watch at 2x. I find your info, speech delivery, video directing, and atmosphere to be very comforting and healing.
I do have a question: is there a particular app(s) or website(s) that you recommend to identify plants? I don't have your identification knowledge or experience and oftentimes struggle as to what something is or where to plant it.
Thank you so much for all the effort, time and knowledge you share. You are greatly appreciated. I thank God for you and your willingness to inspire and give hope to anyone willing to listen. May the Lord continue to fill your lives with an abundance of giggles, joy and blessings.

I know what you mean. My mother and I had spent many lovely hours gardening together at her and dad's place where I grew up. When they sold their house due to health concerns and moved in with me, they sold it to someone who obviously wasn't a gardener. We had a lovely arbor outside of our back door with a beautiful akebia quinata vine on it, and that was the first thing the new owner took out after moving in. It broke my heart!

Just have to say I found you 3 weeks ago and I’m obsessed! I’ve been struggling and dealing with a lot of anxiety and stress, like most, during the last 2 months due to covid 19.
Your channel and family and positivity has let me forget about everything else and relax even if just for a little while every day. I know I can always count on your channel to curl up with a cup of coffee and forget the whole world for a while while getting garden ideas/tips from you! Lol it’s something I’ve grown to count on these last few weeks. You’ve given me so many ideas and got me outside tinkering in the garden/yard all day and forgetting this crazy world we are in right now anc I’m so grateful. I finally googled your parents store today out of curiosity and to my surprise your only an hour away! I’m in Boise! Lol I couldn’t believe your just right next door to us! I got so excited I called my mom and grandma and said we have to make a trip and check out Andrews seed sometime😂, and explained how I found your channel and shared it with them. I just wanted to say thank you and I just adore you and your family so so much.
I was wondering if you ever do meet and greets ancdwhere I can find out info about the wreath making classes at Christmas that I’ve heard you talking about?? The advantage of a buried line is not only aesthetics but your electricity will go out very rarely during a storm for example, because the lines are not exposed. That's a big game changer here in Florida with hurricanes, my sister never lost electricity in her home as opposed to us being out for 4 days when Hurricane Irma came through because her lines are underground.

I do think a pond would be worth learning about! You have enough space for both a la Monty. This has been a difficult year for all. The progress you’ve made on the new property is impressive. It is a LARGE scale project that will take years. Do not despair. That infrastructure is invisible but critical. It is wonderful to see something like this being done right to create a legacy. You are still young enough that you think in seasons and years rather than decades.

While you were discussing leaf curl on fruit trees and citrus trees I couldn’t help but remember that you had sewed some lemon tree seeds late last year/early this year. I was just wondering how those seeds were coming along, have you seen good results from them? Have you potted them up? Would love to see results from that video. I love your videos by the way, I look forward to your videos they help to inspire me to get out and do garden projects. Keep it up 👍🏻

Our outside temps went from cold (50/60's) and rainy last week to hot and very humid this week (90+ degrees with 60% humidity), UGG!!! I think I'm ready to move to an area with less heat and humidity... oh, and less wind! ~Margie

Same! Except we have only hit the upper 80's. I am in western NC in the mountains and the weather here since last fall has been crazy. We hardly got snow, when we usually get a quite a few snowstorms. Then in Jan and Feb it was in the 50's and 60's, and spring has been up with warm and hot weather one week, then down with cold and chilly another. Just last night it was 44 degrees and I froze my tushie off! I had to turn on the heat. My plants sure don't like it because I haven't been able to plant them 😒😒

Always enjoy the recap videos. My husband and I will be married 50 years later this summer. We farmed 2,300 acres together for 25 year of those years. We were too tired to argue. Compromise is essential.

I’ve been watching your videos for years now! You are the reason I love gardening so much, and inspired me to start my channel last year.
💜 Thanks for all you both do.

Every video is so enjoyable! Love your flowers and greenery. I moved to a community where the HOA has restrictions and can now only have a few pots at the doorways. Your new project this year on small pots has been Very helpful. You and Arron inspire me every day with my morning coffee. You and your family are a true blessing ❤️.

As usual I loved this video so much. The info you give is really helpful. Like someone said, you answer questions I didn't know I had. You & Aaron are a great team together. I think that's very special. I hope your water problems are fixed very soon. I also remember when you were taking your extra veggies to the food bank. I know they were very glad for any thing extra. Benjamin is growing so fast. I'm glad you are taking the time to be with him. That's so important. Because you blink & they are grown. So make lots & lots of memories. TFS! Have a great day or night. Stay safe.
