Looks like Douglas wants to be the new Russell following you around during garden tours. And smart kitty for picking your home as his new home. Love the garden tours so much! I would love to see a video on how each section has developed over the years.
Love watching GA, just want to give shout out to Paul and Bethany for all the behind-the-scenes work that they do. I know Laura gives them credit, but it really does take a team to do it all! Thanks for helping tend to big beautiful gardens for us other gardeners to watch.
I hope after part 2 Aaron gets his drone up. I sometimes have trouble remembering the position of one area in relation to another. Your garden has grown so much! And there have been so many changes and developments over the years I’ve been following you. A real success story and tribute to hard work, careful planning and a true love of gardening.
Yes. It would be so great to see/orient where things are. Near the end I was trying to figure out where the new pond would be. The interesting part for me as well is seeing the difference in winter (bare) to the growth season as IM still learning how to remember what is where & how big. All your hard work (& team) really shows. ❤
That Douglas is such a hoot! Maybe just take the time to indulge him. Give him the love and attention he's obviously needing. Much of his behavior will adjust itself in due time. He adopting you is special ❤
Our daughterinlaw has a cat that swipes. After 2 rubs look out. Its a breed (type) that looks like it's wearing eyeliner. Fotunately the grandkids were older. cgzone8
Russell loves Laura so much. He follows her wherever she go ows through the garden. The flowers are beautiful but seeing the love an animal has for his person is amazing.
Love the tour! I’m a veterinarian with a hint for you and Douglas. Carry a few cat treats or cat food kibbles with you, give him a treat after you pet him and that will redirect him from swatting at you. You can also throw a treat away from you when he weaves around your legs so he forgets to be “contrary”. With time he may learn treats are better than his present behavior. ❤ 🐈⬛ ❤
Douglas is a gorgeous cat! Hopefully he will settle down a bit and learn to be more gentle. Also hope Cheddar and Russell will accept him as time goes on.
🌸Good day Laura, Aaron and Astronaut Benjamin🪐. Beautiful tour thru your paradise this morning. So wonderful to see everything thriving. I enjoy seeing you all every morning. Enjoy a beautiful garden day everyone 🌺👏🏻☕️💛
Wonderful garden tour. Glad you are splitting it up into two tours, that way we have more time to concentrate on specific plants. The property is just gorgeous, congratulations to you,Aaron, Paul and Bethany for all your hard work. It’s really paying off.
Laura, the GA teacher with a pointer…..a carrot! Love it! Yes to a tour of your mom’s garden even if there’s disarray with loosing a tree recently. We love ur mom! Also, put on your thickest gloves and when Douglas swats, grab his paw and say “NO” then immediately release. Got to show who’s the boss!
No! No! No! That may work with a dog. Definitely NOT with a cat! Just use lots of patience and lots of calmly talking to Douglas. I am sure, his trust will increase., and he will not feel any need to hit out. Over 30 years living in the country side and three feral cats later who had adopted me, all have become very cuddly. Well, of course, do not know, whether Laura and her crew will have the time between showing us her beautiful garden and learning so much from her, Aaron and their team.
Been waiting for this one Laura. I just wanna say, thank you again for inspiring us to make our homes nature friendly and tropical. I would like to ask though if you and Erin have thought about bringing Paul and Bethany to the garden highlights one day, or maybe 🤔 an interview with them. I know i would like to hear how they enjoy working with you guys and any wisdom they can share.
You, Laura, are a gift! Aaron, and Ken, and everyone involved (including fans), in this marvelous adventure, all deserve abundant credit. And you, Laura, are the shining visionary, the lover of flowers, the tree queen, the gardener of dreams. Thank you for the love you bring to the world.
I was just wondering this morning while having coffee when the June tour was coming! I have learned SO much from watching your videos. From starting seeds, caring for plants, selecting the right plants for the right spots, to dealing with issues in the gardens from pests to soil/nutrient issues. My flowerbeds, gardens and overall landscape is going from open and bland to my own little garden paradise.
The clematis that is on the outside fireplace and at the chicken coop is beautiful!! I love the color of it!! The gardens look beautiful as always. Benjamin, the astronaut, looked so cute.😊 I can't wait to see the pond and the plants around it!!
Your garden is amazing, are you in that stage where you can say: "Yes, this is the garden of my dreams, I am so proud of Aaron and myself, we did good?😊 Also, are you planing to do tour of your parents garden? I miss those tours.Your mom could join you,we could see what she has to say about her garden, things she is proud of,others that she struggle with? It would be such a beautiful tour.❤
Douglas has hit the jackpot with such a lovely property to roam. He clearly loves the camera too. Those hollyhocks are astounding! I loved the cameo from your little space man and how much gratitude you show for the team of workers you've assembled.
Good morning all, Laura you and Mother Nature make a beautiful team👏🏻👏🏻I’ve often wondered why rain makes a garden look so lush afterwards, I know watering is so important but the rain water makes everything look different and better then water from the faucet. In any event what you, Aaron and the team accomplish is just simply amazing 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻❤️❤️❤️🐾🐾🐾🐾🍸🍸🍸🍸
So happy to see a garden tour. Everything looks so good. It is amazing how much change had taken place since the first garden tour when you first purchased your home. It is a beautiful transformation. Each season just gets better and better. Thank you for sharing your garden. I can't wait to see the second part. Have a blessed day everyone
Everything looks glorious! I'm glad y'all have kept the Versailles garden and brick fireplace garden with the angel. Everything else has changed so much over the years. Those spaces maintain your gardens' connection to its past. And, they are very pretty.
Oh my goodness! I LOVE LOVE LOVE your gardens ♥️ This has absolutely 💯 been one of the most beautiful, pleasing, just good for the soul videos ❤ You guys are such an inspiration ❤️ Thank y'all so much for sharing ALL the beauty ❤️ Please give your little angels a hug for me because they are such a joy!! May God continue to bless your beautiful family so richly❤
My son is having surgery this morning and my nerves are shot! 😢 So to try and calm myself down I'm watching my favorite girl. So glad its the tour video which is longer. Love you Laura ❤
Your gardens are magnificent! I'm feeling so peaceful and satisfied after this wonderful tour! Thank you for sharing your incredible talent with us!💕🌿🌼🌱🌳❤
Your gardens are amazing- I love the plants, the arrangements, all of it. The kitties are also a favorite of mine. I love the shout out to Paul and Bethany- what a beautiful paradise you all have created and maintain.
That back kitchen entrance is one of the prettiest combinations I've ever seen! And that little astronaut walking out just MADE my day!!! So adorable, makes me excited for my new grandson, due on Christmas this year (first one). Thank you for the tour!!
Laura never think you videos are too long!!! I learn so much about plant names, placement of plants, what and how to fertilize plants. And the list goes on. I also love the garden of your mom and dads place. Thank you sweetheart so much for all you do and share.
Everything is beautiful and lush! 💜I cannot take my eyes off of Douglas so cute. I think Russell telling Douglas to go away because this is his tour with Mom. lol!
Hi Lauren and Aaron! I just wanted to reach out and express how much I love watching your RUclips channel. It's truly an incredible source of inspiration, and I'm amazed by how far you have come. Your content has this special appeal that keeps me hooked, like watching a captivating TV show or a delightful reality series, but without any unnecessary drama. I'm genuinely excited and eagerly looking forward to what you have in store next. Keep up the fantastic work. PS. If you guys are building a pond, I guess I am too lol 😂
Just love how you appreciate the work that Paul and Bethany carry out for you. Not all employers give credit to the work there staff do. Love your video posts...your ideas and inspiration is priceless. I bet you are a lovely person to know in real life.
Watched your video from last year, now this one, wow so much has changed in a year. What better to do when it’s wet and rainy. I love your yard and videos. You and Aaron work so hard, make sure you take some fun family days, don’t get burnt out, enjoy your summer. Love you all, Debbie from Michigan ❤️😘😘😘😘😘
You guys are my Garden answers & Inspiration - QUESTION - how do you apply Super Thrive on trees? I wonder where to put it so the tree absorbs enough and not the surrounding plants? Thank you!
That carrot cracked me up. I do the same thing. Also thanks for letting us know about Douglas’ backstory. My kids notice your kittys all the time and ask about them. Everything looks amazing and I was so excited for the June tour!!!
That first bed is goals, because the color and texture of the blue/green, and the way the purple supertunias are mixed in and popping the color, all along that rock border, just made my day! Also, that jazzberry is AMAZING on that corner.....just knock out!
I'm really liking Douglas. Happy to know his history with your family. The tour was lovely! I hope you had a nice glass of wine after this work, showing us all!
A Glourous yard, gardens full Beautifully Beauties!! All looking Fabulously 😊
What a beautiful tour of the garden I can’t wait for the pond to go in that’s going to look fantastic. Boy that Douglas is something else swatting your feet after petting him. Maybe if he is spayed it would calm him down. Benjamin looked so cute in his costume.
Putting out my formal request for Laura to do all her tours with a freshly picked carrot in her hand from now on. 🤣 Love you so much! Thanks for the beautiful tour in inspiration.
Wow, Laura & Aaron. Just wow. It is amazing to see the ongoing development of your gardens. I have loved following your journey since the very early days. Always so inspirational. I am eternally grateful.
Watching this from a very wet Cape Town and loving every minute of it. Still can't get my mind around how much has changed since you guys bought the south garden land! Thanks so much for sharing all of this with us!!!🌸💮🌺🥀🌲🌳
Great tour, Laura, from Windermere, Florida zone 9b 🇺🇸 I'm always so satisfied watching you show your beautiful gardens! Happy Gardening Everyone 👩🌾👍 ❤Peggy❤
Your garden has beautiful views no matter what way you turn. I know you have worked with plants for a very long time, but it amazes me how you can just rattle off the names of your plants. Everything is just coming together so beautifully! As a side note, I love seeing Douglas again.
Your gardens are astounding! They reflect the energy you have put in them. The cats and your astronaut top of the charm of this tour. We moved from owning a bed and breakfast in Stillwater Minnesota to Portland Oregon. Left behind big gardens to mostly hardscape . I love to see the grand gardens you create and feel your joy. We to had hail that shredded my inpatients but thank heavens we are not covered by 2 feet of snow in the winter. I am going to find more petunias and plant them today.
Good afternoon, Laura , Aaron, Benjamin , Samantha, Cheddar, Russell, and the new guy Douglas. Laura, I'm watching the video about receiving your Country Causal Teak, and I would like to start by saying how contagious your excitement is. The pairing of Country Causal Teak and Garden Answer seems like a match made in heaven. And I'm with you on assembly... you search and search for the perfect bench (Country Casual Teak 😊) and your very first experience with it is assembly. Aaargh.
I loved the tour, I like it when you have a before and after showing us the difference. You properly has grown into such a beautiful peaceful place. I remember you saying what you started out with looked like Mars.😂😂😂
You do such a beautiful job! It’s so fun to see everything doing so well. The kitties are always fun to see. It seems Douglas is one of those kitties who loves attention but does not know how to ask for more nicely. Keep rewarding his good behavior with pets and not giving him attention when he’s not nice and he’ll soon learn. He’s a gorgeous cat who is lucky to have found you!
I LOVE the pond idea! It will make for a beautiful landscape in that area. I also could see it provide a small space to try some ice skating perhaps in the cold of winter.
Suggestion: put the rockers near your table/swing area for your family and guest to sit. I am 74 and one of my happiest childhood memories are family (adults and children) rocking and swinging together. I love your family and videos.
Who would know that a style of bench would be such a difficult choice. I am learning it is as important as plant placement. I am still holding out that the Hartley benches will grow on me once things grow up a bit. What a treat it is when you do a tour and talk future ideas. It is fun to dream with you all and watch as you fulfill them.
Thank you, Aaron and Laura, (Douglas, Cheddar, and Russell too) for sharing your garden. I like that you talk about what is not working for you also. I learn from my mistakes and just move forward with new knowledge. You guys rock.
I have a Douglas (Buddy) that craves for attention as well. He also swipes at my legs when I walk away from him. He also adopted us and looks like Russell. Thanks for the tour. All looks so beautiful! I can't wait for part 2.
That little hidden spoy (around 45:33) looks like the perfect spot for the kids to have a little play space. Much like under a weeping willow, this could be a magical secret place.
Good morning, Thank you guys for such a lovely tour!! Was hoping you would show that beautiful plant growing up the fireplace, and the other beautiful plant growing up behind the chickens.. What are they? You guys have done an incredible job! Thanks for sharing so much knowledge, beauty, inspiration, and positivity with us!!
Wow! That cabbage is huge! Love the lavender hedge and potted flowers at the entrance to your garden boxes. The urns are gorgeous! The hollyhocks are stunning! The potted flowers running along the fence are also stunning!
The garden is getting so beautiful and developed, I loved that vantage point from Versailles back to the new shade path. I had a thought on a video project maybe for the winter, a video comparing viewpoints from when you first moved in, maybe an interim pic of where it was a few years in and where it is this year. Great work to you and all your team!
Putting in the request for a nice long drone footage as a conclusion to Part 2!! Your gardens are so amazing. I’ve learned so much on dealing with high ph, chlorosis, bugs, etc!! I’m enjoying my garden more than ever thanks to you and Aaron. ❤
Wow! I love this garden tour. I must say, it’s glorious to see the more regular tours! You have worked such magic in just the last couple of years! Douglas is so funny. Poor Russell. He doesn’t want to share his mom. They will work it out I hope. Just a side note maybe will be of interest. I just traveled across country. From Oklahoma to where Laura is in eastern Oregon. And in Wyoming (6000 to 7000 feet in elevation), lilacs were just finishing their blooms. June 24.
Beautiful garden! We need a tour of your moms garden with all her hostas!
You are right about the window boxes plants. You planned the flowers so well!
Yes I would love to see that! It’s been a few years!
I concur!
I’d love to see your mom’s garden also.
Yes, please!
Looks like Douglas wants to be the new Russell following you around during garden tours. And smart kitty for picking your home as his new home. Love the garden tours so much! I would love to see a video on how each section has developed over the years.
Great idea!
@@rosemarythyme6351 YES! GREAT idea! Time-lapse, or something...
Douglas is the new Russell???
I love Douglas 🥰 he is beautiful I love your videos learning a lot about flowers n trees 🙂

Aaron's excellent videography 😊

AMAZING spaces!! ❤ I see Douglas gets agitated when you start to move away, he wants you to keep petting. Starved for attention. 😂
Exactly!❤
I thought the same thing! It's like Douglas is waving his paw as if to say, "Come back here!"
Yeah my guys do this, "don't stop the snuggles!"
Thanks for the garden tour. Your home and gardens are turning into an amazing place that could rival any American or European estate gardens.
My kitty does that too. She will not let you stop pets if she wants more pets.
Fotunately the grandkids were older. cgzone8
Some cats are just mean!
Love the "Carrot Pointer"!! All boardrooms should have those!
I was giggling to myself, wondering how far the carrot 🥕 was going to go in the tour.
I got such a kick out of watching that carrot flop around 😆
Some teachers use a stuffy pointer but our Laura uses a carrot! Love that you always keep it real!
Out of the ashes the Phoenix rises. Areas are being buttoned up and Laura is really hitting her stride, her enthusiasm shows.
❤ 🐈⬛ ❤
Thank you for these tips! I’m dealing with a couple kitties who want to be petted and murder me at the same time!
Douglas is a gorgeous cat! Hopefully he will settle down a bit and learn to be more gentle. Also hope Cheddar and Russell will accept him as time goes on.

@@dorisk4427agreed. Douglas seems a bit feral. He probably won't react well to traditional "discipline" - like a dog.

I heard that it has to do with the nitrogen that is picked up by the water droplets up in the atmosphere. So rain water is also a natural fertilizer.
Yes, rain makes a TREMENDOUS difference!!!!
Ohhh Douglas!!!!🐾🖤🐾

We moved from owning a bed and breakfast in Stillwater Minnesota to Portland Oregon. Left behind big gardens to mostly hardscape .
I love to see the grand gardens you create and feel your joy.
We to had hail that shredded my inpatients but thank heavens we are not covered by 2 feet of snow in the winter. I am going to find more petunias and plant them today.
Astronaut and cat appearances really add charm to an EPIC garden tour ❤
I'm all for the pathways - it's like the path to wonderland! Great job fun tour 👍👏😊
Everything is changing so much and growing, Glad you have Paul and Bethany to help with all the chores.
Loved seeing Benjamin.... he is cute and growing so fast!! 👨🚀🚀
The brick work is just beautiful!! 👏👏👏💚💚💚
So love the enthusiasm and "eye candy." Watching you work and share your lovely home starts my day off just right. Benjamin is pretty cute too.
I love the color and texture of that area. It’s bright
I have a Douglas (Buddy) that craves for attention as well. He also swipes at my legs when I walk away from him. He also adopted us and looks like Russell. Thanks for the tour. All looks so beautiful! I can't wait for part 2.
Your June tour is outstanding. You are such a great inspiration and I enjoy every minute of your videos. Thank you for your hard work and dedication!!
Laura, just want to say how much I appreciate the SOUND VOLUME of your videos - easy to hear 🙏🏼
I’m so excited for the pond !!
Benjamin looked cute with his astronaut outfit. Douglas has an attitude for sure. Your gardens look great.
Love your garden tours never to long , it’s absolutely Beautiful !
A running astronaut, Russell lounging, Douglas the new adorable lovable attack cat AND beautiful plantings... this garden tour had it all!
The seating area by the greenhouse is gorgeous!!!! 💕
Wow! That cabbage is huge! Love the lavender hedge and potted flowers at the entrance to your garden boxes. The urns are gorgeous! The hollyhocks are stunning! The potted flowers running along the fence are also stunning!
Just splendid! Thank you Laura, Aaron and your team!!!
I can never get over your garden, it's breathtaking, i have loved watching it's progression over the years, you both should be very proud. x
What a beautiful cat that Douglas is. 😻
Your home land looks absolutely gorgeous.
Everything is just beautiful Laura , but can we take a moment to just say how great the tree that Aaron fixed , at 55:46 it looks amazing !
June 24.
Everything is looking spectacular! What a beautiful tour!
But Benjamin the astronaut 👩🚀 got me!!!
