I like the way you've been doing these videos so far. As a long-time viewer, though, it does get a little tiring hearing you answer the same questions. Perhaps once per season you could do an FAQ-style video full of questions that you've answered in the past, but geared toward newer subs.

Either channel is fine. Congrads on the new Subs, I may have a hand in that - told a few people your the one to watch. Suggestion: a history of your Garden, this may be a project for Ken(?) your editor; this can help your New Viewers see what the garden looked like before. For me (which I still do ) I binged watched your videos since finding your channel last year after my Mother passed away and you helped me get out and do things. I wonder if part of the problem is that the videos aren't searchable by question. So unless watch every video, you don't know if she's answered that question before. If question key words were tagged or added in the description section, would that make the questions/answers searchable??

I agree with you on the gravel - especially with an older home. I think any type of paving material (concrete or asphalt) would change the aesthetic too much - “commercial” is a good work. I do like cobblestones or brick but with all the drive you have you’d have to be millionaires.

The recap is my favorite video of the week, barring tour videos :) It doesn't even need to be answering the same questions. I just enjoy the long conversation format about gardening. Like a podcast. I watch while I get ready in the morning and it allows me to listen and not have to click off after 10 min and find something else. I always enjoy over explaining too! So hearing more of the behind the scenes makes me feel like I am getting additional education.

I love the recap videos for two reasons. 1) It's a great way to look back at your videos since they are all cataloged by the week. 2) It never fails, I always hear something new or reinforce something that I already knew. Please keep them up. I'm a much better gardener because of you. You've taught me to be brave and experiment with things I've never tried. I love this kind of video! It's so fun to have the chance to virtually interact with you, but I get your comment on feeling like a broken record. What if you had a FAQ page or video you could link to in response to those questions? Another fun idea would maybe be having a spot to submit questions on your website too, and you go through those too, like once a month or something. That way we could maybe get a bit more variety, as people wouldn't feel restricted to questions based on the content of the video? Just a few ideas! Thanks SO much for all you do. My husband and I are going through the process of buying our first home and it is SO fun to see your videos and get inspiration for a garden I could actually have, instead of my containers that I had in our apartments! I've already told him alllll about the patio video you guys did a while back. We hope to build our own with that as a guide! Thanks again!

I really like your recap videos. If there is a question you have answered before I still listen carefully to see if I can learn something new. Honestly, the best thing about your videos Laura is...you! You give GREAT gardening information, ideas and advice, but in the end it is you that I enjoy "being around." You are cheerful, fun, relatable, positive, progressive, industrious, talented, ambitious (I could keep going, but I'll stop there), exactly the type of person I like to be around (hoping some of those attributes will rub off on me! ;) I also love the times we get to see Aaron, Benjamin, your Mom, other family and friends, and of course, Russell! (You couldn't train a cat to come in on cue and climb a tree or arbor or do something else entertaining in the background the way he does!). All of these good things and I also get an occasional "walk" in your garden and you sharing your gardening projects and experiences. 💟 I am just along for the ride, however you and Aaron decide to steer it. 🌼🌻🌷🌸💐🌺

Have you also thought about resin bound gravel? It’s the best of both worlds, looks like gravel but is a totally flat surface which would mean Benjamin can ride bikes more easily. Although, it’s expensive so may not be cost effective.

I like the recap videos. Of course some question are redundant, but for new viewers, it may be their first time hearing the answer to a previously asked question. I'm okay with watching you repeat the answer to the new viewers because new viewers means your channel is growing and that equates to your overall success and ability to continue doing ALL the videos for us! I also feel like these are coversational videos and you guys shine as the personable, humble folks you are! Love it!

Yes these videos are extremely helpful. Plus, I really enjoy sitting with a cup of tea and just listening to you answer questions and discuss the previous week's videos. It feels like company lately.

Yay! So glad you're still doing the Q & A! I love all your videos but I do super look forward to the weekly review. I learn so much good info and it's got such a relaxed vibe that it feel like having a fun coffee chat with a friend...about plants! Which is something I rarely get to do in my friend circle 😆

I do like having these question/answer videos. It brings up things that I haven't thought about necessarily and seems to always jog some learning opportunities, while listening. Thanks, Laura.

I love the recap videos! I learn so many tips and tricks, they've been super-helpful. I used to watch my mom take care of her plants, so I know some, but there's so much more I don't know and don't have anyone to ask. So thank you. My mom would have loved you!

Love the video! Also I think you would like a paved driveway. Your softscape is awesome so any hardscape you use will look fantastic! I think a paved driveway will add another dimension of color. The gravel is monotone and pavement adds a darker color so it will make your plants pop more than they do now. Your family is awesome! You are living MY best life!😁😁😁

I recently found your main channel and subscribed and now added this to my list. I really like both formats, you have so much information to share and are so generous with your time and knowledge. I have been gardening for years here in western NC (zone 6b) and viewing your videos has re-inspired me. I am now rearranging old beds with the help of your ideas. Keep up the good work.

They are very helpful just like they are. Putting them in highlights is great. Your rationale makes sense. You guys do an incredible amount of videos and all of them are helpful, fun, enjoyable, educational and inspiring. Keep it up, please? Oh, and don’t move! Not yet...just have another baby and stay put. Lol. Spoken like a true grandma. 😉 God bless. 💕👏🏻💕

Your recap videos are extremely helpful. I have my app open (MS ToDo) while watching and add info that I know I will forget in 10 mins 🤪. This way I can look up what to do with my perennial salvias after they bloom. For any other gardeners out there who can’t keep it all in memory - I created a set of folders in the app for each month’s tasks and another set per plant. Yes, it takes time to enter all the info, but It is an invaluable resource‼️

Hi Laura and Aaron! It doesn’t matter where you post your videos I will find them!☺️ I do like that you added this to your highlights channel. I just want to tell you that before 2019 I never had an interest in gardening, zilch! My yard was very bare. Well, I happenstance on one of your succulent videos and you sucked me in!!! Love your energy, positivity, and style. My yard has been completely transformed and everyone has been impressed and I owe it all to you. So thank you for helping me cultivate my green thumb💕 When the time is right and you decide to make a B&B (with shuttles to Andrew seed Co. 😉) I know it will be successful for sure! Wishing you more success!!

Love this type of video and unboxing as well. Can’t wait to see the new property grow. Your family takes on a lot and it shows very well. Excited to see the annuals planted. I am adding a few pumpkins and watermelon in my beds just for giggles. My granddaughter loves those type of surprises. Look forward to coffee and your channel everyday. Bought some latte supertunia annuals, slow start but still working on feeding them regularly so I can get a big burst and fill the bed. The bubblegum was amazing last year, people stopped to take pictures all the time. So funny.

Please continue the recap videos! It’s a great source to gain more insight and knowledge. Thank you for taking the time to view the questions and feedback. I was missing it until I saw you moved it to highlights so you may want to make an announcement about where to find it now.
