NOTE: The terms and conditions for the Robotoyz code have changed. It is now only a single-use code. Apologies for the inconvenience. Also this video is actually going up on my birthday, so I’m a sense this is my gift to you. Happy 21st birthday to me, I guess.
Its better to get the ko one, swindle ratchet joint in combined form is really, really, REALLY, tight in combined mode, but theres no scary stress marks
Watching this so close to the release of the legacy line, I’m really hoping the new Menasor and future combiners are as solid and fun as this thing. I never liked the combiner wars combiners, so hopefully hasbro takes some notes and incorporate what they have to to make the figures work
Its just, the legs are goofy, too thick i guess, and the arms aren’t proportionate, which makes him look weird, especially on menasor, but i can see what they are trying to get at.
Of course Swindle has a big backpack! Unlike some lucky bots, He didn't get built with a huge cargo bed, so he has to carry his inventory of rare and valuable merchandise somehow. Where did they come from, well, he knows a bot who knows a bot that found some stuff that fell off the back of a shuttle... ;)
Onslaught's base vehicle mode kinda looks a bit like Animated Ultra Magnus, don't you think? The square details above the cab resemble his retractable eyelash guns.
Wouldn't work. The engineering is designed specifically for the Legends scale. If they upscaled it, it would be too simple and the proportions would be off.
This seems good. I mean its better than what hastak has to offer for Bruticus. The FOC Combaticons were good toys separately(except for Onslaught) but their combined form was weak, skinny and gangling. The CW one was better but it had issues. Brawl and Regular release of Blastoff both suck as bots but make ok limbs. The Unite Warriors/Prime Wars trilogy Blastoff is ok imo. The Swindle, Onslaught and Vortex are pretty good(Though my Onslaught seems to be developing a stress mark at the knee hinges). The Bruticus mode is a bit.........meh. I mean it's definitely intimidating compared to FOC. But Ironfactory seems to do CW's job better. All the cons look solid in all modes and the Brutty is a delight to look at. Anyway's nice review and this legiondary marathon was a blast.
Nice place you got here. Also, I've been watching a lot of your videos that happened to take place in December. Without actually intentionally doing so. Lel
Is it worth getting in 2023? That mushroom peg problem scares me as it means all second hand versions will be ticking timebombs. And unused sets I’m sure will be super expensive as well as also have the mushroom peg problem. Did the follow up catastrophe version fix the issue?
@@virtuousvillain5553 Put me down for a Raiden. We just need SOME sort of Raiden out there in toy form that isn't G1. It's a long shot, but I really want someone to make a Raiden...that I can buy...that doesn't cost $800+ for a lacklustre G1 toy...
The iron factory bruticus is my second fave bruticus, a very nice design and transformation. But I don't like the big silver butt implant that IF Bruticus has, it looks better with out it in my opinion
Anyone else think that Onslaught's trailer mode for the combiner kibble somewhat resembles Armada Overload's shuttle transport mode designed for Jetfire?
DrLockdown especially the way it is designed to haul Blast Off around. Just watch Thew's review of Overload for more information. By the way, I loved your team up review with Death...
There's a lot to love in the Legends scale nowadays. They're cheap, don't take up much space and the lineup is incredibly diverse. It's less about displaying and more about having a couple at work or on your desk at home.

Happy B-Day, enjoy yourself.
Happy birthday
now to wait for a ko version, that makes every member into a leader.

The idea of a Combiner at leader scale that i can actually pose is the best thing ever. Catastrophe is going straight on my Bday list.
Even after all these years he still holds up.

I think it would've been better is Swindle's back kibble folded around like CW Dead End.

I am new, and I’m enjoying your content sir! Hahahahaha good video! 👍
Welcome! Hope you enjoy!
Here's to hoping i can eventually find a Catastrophe for cheap
Imagine a Generations-scale OSKO of this.

Damn I must of got the knockoff pocket toys one
thoughts?

Can't say. Never got catastrophe.
Mines been okay over the years. Just had to be careful with it.
Only 5 days late! Totally worth the wait though.
wonder which combiner Iron Factory will do next
After the DJD combiner?
yeah, who will it be? Me, i want a defensor @@DrLockdown
Nothing in 2019 sadly. They’re releasing a toy every month, so schedules all booked out

How does PT-05 Ruiner compare to this?

Huh...you're right. It does seem a little similar.

This is the 28th comment.
Is this not fact?
These guys are really cool. Too bad they're legends size

Just found a knock off variant of these guys.
Not really into it. The face looks way off.
Silly comment, but, you’ve slowly became one of my favourite reviewers ^-^
Yeah same
