I don't care if it is a knockoff, it's still great! Got mine yesterday.
So, the main difference seems to be that you get hasbro level quality instead of 3rd party quality. Good for the price it seems
found it on ebay for £55/$69. seems pretty good. just worried about the joints
Hot mine today, had the same issue with the front of Vortex. But I figured out that if you rotate adjust the hinge joint to align better, the nose gun aligns and holds tight

I just received my set today, thanks to this awesome review. It's great so far.
I trimmed a bit of flash off the peg where the cockpit connects, and now it attaches nice and snug.

You gotta put blackouts little black handle inbetween the two knees in helicopter mode to get that front piece to stay in.

Cheers mate, tried that and it does stay on, but doesnt sit flush because the peg is a little to thick. Nothing a trum wont fix

How big are these cuz they seem kinda small
Finally! A vortex that doesnt look like… every… other… flashback moment: blades, combiner wars vortex, oh god, alpha bravo, so many repaints of the same exact figure and they make it too obvious! (This is a joke)
saw it on amazon for a $100. it looks pretty badass. might order it along with takara tomy UWO1 superion.

he is legend size...in combiner mode he is about 8 to 9 in tall

Thinking about buying this, and for a 70 dollar price tag its worth the risk of it breaking, its on amazon so if I buy it through them I'm sure they'd reimburse me if its too fucked up.

I had to search this because I found him for 100 where other combat icons have to be like 300 and they are my favorite combiners

Anyone find a way to fix (not) swindle's floating head section? Can it tab in somehow? Was that also a design flaw on the IF model? I really love the set (and AWESOME review, by the way - very comprehensive) but that head on swindle sinking inward like that is awful...

That's a bummer... I still went ahead and bought the set, though - thanks in part to your review! It seems like that's a small price to pay for an otherwise great set of figures (especially for the price). Cheers!
